I've been slow to write this because I wanted to make sure that nothing was a fluke. I'm going to start by saying, hire Desiree!!! Our story is no exaggeration. Our six month old daughter was only sleeping between 15 and 30 minute stretches throughout the night every night since she was born. I was absolutely exhausted my husband was exhausted. We had started sleeping separately to take turns staying awake with her throughout the night. To backtrack she was born with a few health issues and so I was terrified to ever lay her down and the second she would fuss I would pick her up and hold her for the rest of the night. I was part of her sleep problems, but things got so bad I had no clue how to fix it. She would not let us set her down. Once she was six months old she was finally in great health and we knew something had to be done. I was at the end of my rope. On a Saturday night I was completely exhausted and at my wits end and started searching for answers. I came across Desiree read all of the amazing reviews and filled out her contact form. It was late at night yet within three minutes of submitting that form she had texted me and said she could help us. I kept zooming in on the monitor checking that she was breathing because I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that she was actually just sleeping. We thought that this was probably a fluke and wouldn't happen again. Well, she has slept through the night every single night since then for the last month. Our lives were completely changed with Desiree. We are finally sleeping through the night as well although it took some adjustment for us as parents as we hadn't slept in six months. It took a while to get used to my daughter actually sleeping and not needing our attention. My husband and I said we both feel like we entered a different dimension that night. I think the only problem we have had is that I actually sometimes miss my daughter because she sleeps 12 hours straight and I don't get to hold her through that time anymore. But I'll tell you what, I'll take that problem over our previous issues!! I cannot stress this enough. Desiree is incredible. As a hesitant parent, I was procrastinating sleep training because my twins were already 8 months old, as fraternal as they get (and subsequently, hardly in sync) with an abundance of bad habits (including pacifiers round the clock, being rocked to sleep with each nap and at bedtime, immediate parent soothing). I DREADED night time- It was a never ending ritual of using baby wraps, walking/rocking and singing... sometimes it would take hours. I'd been in survival mode since they were born and our bad habits seemed to get us through day to day so I was afraid to change anything... but little did we know, those little rituals were doing us more harm than good. I wish I had done this sooner, both for my girls' sake and my own sanity! I hired Desiree after she was HIGHLY recommended to me by a friend who claimed her son was trained by 7 weeks old sleeping 7pm-7am without interruption. I remember thinking "Yeah, but that's one baby". Hah, I was wrong! Desiree has worked with triplets several times and has been doing this a long time. Just talking with her, it shows! I tried the books, I read the articles, and I'd even implemented that knowledge when the girls were younger- but having someone available to text at the drop of a hat when you are feeling unsure or in need of guidance was invaluable. It's been a week in and the girls take about 10 minutes before they fall asleep independently and we often find them awake (and happy!) in their cribs when nap time is over. I no longer dread naps and bed time and I make the most of the girls' "awake time" which I feel has strengthened my relationship with them. They are HAPPIER babies which makes me a more than happier mama! So I will gladly pass on the torch to another family in need....We HIGHLY recommend Desiree and her business. Twin parents !!!!! This review is for you. We have 3 month old identical twin boys who would not sleep. Ever. The best sleep we got after 3 months was about 5 hours if we were lucky, followed by constant wake ups, crying, shushing, rocking, etc. It was so brutal, and then all of a sudden we were not even getting the 5 hours, it seemed like every 20-60 minutes one was awake and crying. Naps were non existent unless they were in a swing and those were short lived. Needless to say we had reached our absolute breaking point when someone recommended Desiree. It felt like we couldn't go anywhere or do anything. I was hesitant at first to have someone come when I had already done taking cara babies and Moms on Call and read all kinds of tips on the Internet and none of it worked. Now my only thought is - WHY DIDN'T WE CALL HER SOONER !!!!!! Seriously !!!!! She came over on a Thursday, checked out our setup, gave us her plan, and before the weekend was over the boys were sleeping 11 hours !!!!!! 11. Hours. Straight. Truly life changing. And even more amazing was that naps were now, naps. In the cribs. It made us feel so confident and happy knowing we were sleeping and our boys were getting the sleep they need, in the safest place where they should be. Hiring Desiree was the best decision we made for our baby AND us. We got into a vicious cycle of rocking baby to sleep, picking him up or giving pacifier anytime he woke up, etc. It got to a point where we he was only taking 20 min long naps and I was feeding 'round the clock. I called Desiree and she came to our home that day when he was almost 9 weeks and walked us through the proposed plan & routine moving forward. The first few days were hard but Desiree was available by phone to give guidance & support. The goal was to give our baby the gift of SLEEP - learning how to fall asleep and go back to sleep upon waking. This is an adjustment but is important! By day 3, he slept thru the night and WE had to wake him in the morning! Sticking to Desiree's schedule is crucial and the results are incredible. No more backaches from rocking baby to sleep, no more insane witching hour, no more being on house arrest wondering when he'll wake up wanting to eat next, no more anxiety going to bed wondering when he'll start crying. Our baby is 15 weeks and has been sleeping 7pm-7am for weeks now. We realized that our baby (all babies, for that matter) are usually the rule and NOT the exception - they CAN be trained and are much happier babies when there's a schedule, they're sleeping and the parents are sleeping!! 5 stars is NOT ENOUGH to rate Desiree!! Desiree has been a blessing to not just myself and my husband but most importantly to our 5 month old, Jake. I spoke with Desiree in hopes to get him to sleep 12 hours throughout the night. Prior to Desiree he was sleeping about 9 hours straight and would wake 1-2 times and was getting maybe one good 2 hour nap a day and maybe 2 more short ones when being held at times. His naps were VERY inconsistent. After speaking with Desiree on the phone and reviewing our current schedule we came up with a more structured schedule for day/night time that worked for our family. The first night Jake woke up and cried for about 27 minutes (yes, I counted every minute). It was so tough but he put himself back to sleep and slept until 7am! Jake has now slept 7pm-7am every single night since we started with Desiree. Lets not forget naps!! Jake now takes 3, 1 1/2 hour naps a day. Life is great! We are still in awe at how quick all of this worked! I would recommend Desiree to any parent (new or experienced)! My only regret is that I did not find her sooner. Desiree has given me the confidence that we may actually be able to have another baby because I was terrified and wasn't sure that I could handle the sleep deprivation again! I was up at 4AM which was an unfortunate usual for me with our newborn. I stumbled across a Reddit post about sleep training your baby. I ended up in a rabbit hole on Google looking for an infant sleep specialist. Desiree was at the top of the list of recommendations on yelp so I instantly clicked on the link to her site to learn more. Our 4 week old going into 5 weeks needed a sleep schedule and we NEEDED to drastically minimize contact sleeping. The cuddles are always the best but we had things we needed to do! Especially getting quality sleep. After filling out a contact request, Desiree reached out the next day and we had our consultation scheduled within the next few days. Her instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. There were things I didn't think I'd be able to overcome as a Mom but once we went through the experience everything changed. He's gaining weight appropriately & he's soooo happy when he wakes up. Now we can get so much done during the day. Reaching out to Desiree was the BEST decision ever! We called her when my son was 3 months old because he was waking every 2 hours every.single.night. We tried other popular sleep methods/programs (that actually worked for our daughter), but nothing was even slightly successful. My husband and I were so sleep deprived that it was really challenging to care for our toddler, our new baby and focus on work also. We had our second child in November of 2019 and while we figured we knew what to expect, we found that we were having a lot more trouble than we planned with getting our new daughter to sleep at night as well as eat on a consistent basis. We knew we needed to get her on some sort of a schedule and tried hiring some "professional" help, but were disappointed in the lack of knowledge and results the first couple of people we hired provided so we were reluctant to try someone new. When we found out we were pregnant with twins, we had 3 other twin families recommend Desiree to us. One had used her for a consult, and the other 2 had used her as a night nanny. Desiree is worth 10 stars! At 6 months old, our son was still waking up every 1.5-2 hours at night to eat. He had absolutely no schedule during the day. Sometimes he slept for 15 minutes, sometimes 2 hours. It was extremely unpredictable and my husband and I found ourselves overtired and increasingly frustrated. I learned about Desiree after talking to another new Mom who had utilized her for sleep training. I couldn't believe when she told me her son was sleeping 12 hours a night! I immediately told my husband, but he was convinced that we could easily put our son on a schedule on our own. Many many many sleepless night later, I convinced him to give Desiree a try and he is now a firm believer, even telling all of his Dad friends how amazing her program is! I cannot say enough good things about Desiree and her services! We contacted Desiree before we gave birth and she gave us a game plan on helpful things to buy and consider before our twins got here. This was instrumental to making sure we had a solid base prior to them being born. The first week they were born was a blur! The second week we met with Desiree and immediately got the twins on a schedule which we still follow. As a first time Mom, Desiree also helped me with questions and concerns I had. Desiree also showed me how to do their first bath-something I was clueless about! From 4 weeks on, our twins were waking only once a night. Our twins are now sleeping 7am to 7 pm at 8 weeks old. I would really suggest paying for one or two in person consultations at the very least as her advice has been invaluable. I don't know where we would be if it were not for her services. I know there is a lot of stigma about sleep training but my twins are happy, healthy babies. They are happy and their parents are happy and not sleep deprived! Desiree is amazing!! She was highly recommended by a close friend of ours. We decided to reach out when our 4 month old was not getting the sleep he needed and we weren't sure what to do. Desiree helped change our life! At nearly 5 months old my son's sleep was getting worse and worse... As a first time mom who suffered from Severe Post Partum Anxiety and Depression I was DESPERATE for sleep to heal myself and bond with my baby. Desiree was amazing to work with. She was such a warm person, so helpful, knowledgeable and there every time I needed her. My baby was waking up an hour after I put her down, then again two hours later and then starting at 1:00 am she was waking up about every hour and a half until we brought her in bed with us around 6 am. After one night of sleep training her and following everything Desiree told me to do she was able to soothe herself back to sleep on her own and by night 3 she only woke up once for 15 minutes and put herself back to sleep. She also helped with naps, which were only about 40 minutes long, and now they are an hour and a half. In a matter of 3 days so much has changed for the better and both baby and I are much happier. Desiree is awesome! She came all the way out to our home in Queen Creek and helped us set up a sleep schedule for our 4 month old baby girl. Our issue was with naps, she would only take 30-40 minute naps during the day! And we never knew how many we would get. She helped us get her room as sleep-ready as we could and answered all our questions about the schedule. Honestly keeping to the schedule was really hard for me, there was lots and lots of crying from both of us but now my baby goes down for naps on her own and takes long naps! Desiree was very professional and extremely helpful when we reached out to her in the "3-4 month sleep regression." Our little guy did not have a consistent sleep schedule before this and we were constantly jumping through hoops to get him to sleep especially at night. We he hit the regression, it got even worse. It's hard to put into words just how relieved and thankful we feel for having Desiree to help us with our 15 month old. My son has had stomach issues since birth, gas, colic, you name it and my boyfriend and I were hesitant about any sleep training. The longest our son had slept from 1-6 months was about 50 minutes at the most. He's now 15 months old and would wake up at least 2-3 times each night still.
