Get a call from a job i applied for telling me I have an interview in the morning. So I rush to this shop to try and get a cut. Such a waste of time for starters info says shop doesn't close until 8 , so I hurry over get there by at least 7:30. I don't need a crazy hair cut just a touch up, was evening willing to pay double if someone would take me. Walking up to the door big sign that says "WE OPEN, WALK INS WELCOME" so if you closed and not taken walks in maybe take the sign down you dumb fucks if you gonna lock the door and not accept work. Second I'm standing there tryna get someone attention no one looks, I'm tryna gesture I will pay double but neither even has the decency to open the door and chat, give me a card or nothing. Having a nice haircut is just as important as being well dressed. Over the years I have taken my kids to a few barbers in the orlando area and by far this has been the best place I've found. They don't cut hair just to do it. They listen to the client. The shop was more organized and they had someone cleaning the floors every few mins. I was waiting to get a cut. They had a sign that said walk-ins welcomed. As I walked in 4 gentleman was playing cards and 3 people were cutting hair. I wanted to be greeted and no one said anything so is a done. I wanted about 10-15 no one said anything to me. A barber finished and didn't even respond to me sitting there. I was looking for a new barber and I have a few friends that are looking as well. I won't be using this place. Part 2. I called the number as asked if needed an appointment or anything. The person in the back was super polite. I came back in and he greeted me. I simply asked how come no one greeted me when I came in. The Owner was sweeping the floor and said "look man I seen you when I was playing cards but assume you had an appointment ". I said how hard was it for you or anyone else to greet a person walking in. Immediately he got rude and started cussing telling me I can get the F out of the store. He's the owner he's been here for 12 years and he knows how to run a business. I simply got up and walked away. Never in my life have I seen such rude behavior. read more

Tried this shop out from a referral of a co-worker, Best referral ever. 1st off I moved to Orlando from Atlanta, GA and have tried many local barbershops in Orlando and St. Cloud, 10 to be exact before finding Elite Barbers. I'm always able to call and make an appointment and I would definitely recommend any Male looking for a sanitary and professional haircut to do themselves a favor and try this Barbershop and leave a review after there visit. There is nothing ELITE about this place!!! I went in today looking to get a simple fade, I came out with what looked like a haircut I received from Micheal J Fox! There are gouge marks in my head from the clippers, completely uneven all around and I wasted an entire hour for this POS cut that I now have to shave because of how bad the "barber" if you even want to call him that screwed up! $17 for this horrible job on my hair when the sign out front says $10... So who got screwed here? I already felt very unwelcome, there was no way I was going to argue with the guy over it when all of his friends where in there! Maybe if you want a D-bag haircut like a blowout or something with a design, they could hook you up! My advice would be to stay far far away from here and look elsewhere like, I don't know... I wasn't greeted or welcomed, nor did anyone ask if I was waiting for a cut after I had been sitting there for an hour. The first impression you get when you walk into this barber shop is not the best. You are not greeted and there is a sign that says sign up without a sign up sheet next to it. but once you sit down in the chair it's a whole new experience. He asked all the right questions to determine what would be my perfect time. Not only are they very skilled with a straight edge, they are very detailed. The amazing haircut trumps all other haircuts I've gotten in Orlando. One drawback of my visit was that the credit card machine was not working. So I had to go to the bar next door to take out cash which is not an issue but for someone who doesn't carry cash it could be. If I was to rate the overall atmosphere of the shop, I would say it is lively. You often here conversations, laughter, and music in the background. I am a picky person when it comes to a haircut. I am very seldom so happy that I return to a place to cut my hair. Wile I miss my old barber from another shop that moved this place is very good. I cannot attest to every haircut they give but the ones both me and my partner have received have been good. Their sign holds true for $10.00 cuts on Monday through Wednesday. So if price is a concern just go those days. It's slower then anyway. If you still don't have a specific barber go here.
