A Truly Magical Experience!…read more GoldenView Ultrasound Chicago exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The studio is warm and inviting, and the waiting area feels more like a spa than a clinic. We booked a 4‑D/HD session to see our baby, and the images were absolutely incredible. The sonographer explained everything clearly, was patient when our little one decided to hide, and made sure we left with plenty of amazing pictures and videos. We loved that GoldenView offers DNA gender testing--finding out our baby's gender early added even more excitement to our pregnancy journey! They also have the cutest heartbeat animals, which makes for a precious keepsake. Plus, the staff put our session on dropbox so we could easily share the video with family members who couldn't be there in person. Overall, the entire experience felt personal and professional. You can tell the staff genuinely care about their clients and love what they do. If you're expecting and want to bond with your baby in a relaxed, supportive environment, GoldenView Ultrasound Chicago is the place to go. We'll cherish our images and memories forever and will definitely be back for future sessions! best place in chicago for a 3d4d early ultrasound.

Our tech didn't even try to get any good pictures. We left very disappointed. Now at 26 weeks we decided to try Goldenview and crossed our fingers we would get at least one good pic of our baby. We ended up getting so many amazing pictures of her I couldn't even believe it. The tech had me walk around and try different positions to get the baby to move so she could get the best possible pictures. I didn't even expect to get such clear pictures of her face at 26 weeks. I am so happy we chose Goldenview. Thank you so so much for making this so special for us.

If you are an lgbtqia+ person who is need of medical help, this is the place to go. I came to this…read morelocation a month ago for something I have put off. I was apprehensive on how I would be treated because of who I am. I wish every doctor's office, emergency room and psychologist could take a lesson from the staff here. I began transitioning from FtoM a year ago and it's been tough to have my pronouns, needs or my symptoms taken seriously. I often feel dismissed before the dr even sees me. Since I don't appear male presenting yet I know it causes confusion. I have anxiety because of it when it comes to situations with medical establishments. I've had many visits that I have been treated poorly and misgendered. Physicians immediate care has changed my outlook on healthcare and I'm very thankful. The front desk person Lynzey is an outstanding person! When they were taking my information for the registration, they double checked with me on how I would like to be addressed and the pronouns that I use. They also asked if I have a chosen name beside my birth name I want to use. My ID states male but the registration asks you to choose between male or female for "sex at birth", I had to choose female. This is why I was asked in private for the pronouns and chosen name. No one has ever thought to ask me this in any medical setting. Lynzey explained that the staff will be compassionate to my needs and not to worry, that they only want me to feel better and it's ok to be honest. \They also made sure to give me information for lgbtqia+ centers for outreach and medical care. This is the first medical office where I could be myself and not feel like an alien! The nurses and DR are just as tremendous too and answered all my questions. I didn't feel like I had to hide anything. I have recommended this clinic to anyone I know. Several of my friends have had the exact same experience with the staff, which makes me so so happy. If you are like me and scared to go the dr's office because you will be misgendered or neglected, give physicians immediate care a shot! Thank you Lynzey for everything you did. You have made a big impact on myself and 2 of my friends. I wish there were more people like you in the world.

Watch out!!! This clinic is desperately in need of a formal investigation…read more I visited when I had an unrelenting cough. I was the only patient and it took 45 minutes to check me in. When I said I was too sick for this kind of "urgent" care and started to leave, a medical assistant and then a PA saw me. They took my blood pressure and did a swab and although I later discovered from my regular doctor that I had pneumonia, they sent me home with comments in the summary, which I'm paraphrasing - "her lungs sounded clear... and she's doing surprisingly well given that she has asthma." I do not nor have I ever had asthma. BUT THAT WAS JUST THE START. Over the last 4 months they have billed me over a thousand dollars for the visit - first, from a company that goes by an entirely different name, and then by wellnow. The billing is egregious. I called the number on the bill and was told that I was correct, they should have billed medicare (they had my number), and the billing would cease. Yet... the billing has been ongoing and they took advantage of the fact that they had my credit card number - which they required when I checked in and have consistently tried to bill my card. I called my credit card company and they were investigating, yet the constant billing continued and eventually I changed my card number because I don't want them to have access to my account. In addition this is frustrating and exhausting. As I mentioned, this company needs to be investigated. I strongly encourage you to seek medical attention at another urgent care that has nothing to do with them!

Both physicians assistants as well as nurses that took my vitals were both great. I also appreciated the first one started with a low dose of stuff and told me to come back Monday if it didn't improve. This time I also made an appointment so it was a much faster wait. This place has long waits during busy times but they are honest if the wait is going to be long. I work in customer service and I was impressed how kind they were even around frustrated folks. Robert Mazalewski, PA exhibits the most ignorant, impatient, unwavering arrogance that appears to be adopted by the aforementioned male associate. The facts are clearly established as, their rating is indicative of the quality of, and their attention to, patient care, "the office experience" & accuracy of service. Do yourself a favor, and don't waste your time. You will be better served as this location lacks the capacity, competence and credibility to serve the diversity of the community in which it is centrally located. I was inconvenienced to return and wait an hour, standing in the waiting area as Robert Mazalewski, PA, lacked the intelligence or expertise needed to accurately input my name & address as shown on my State Of Illinois Drivers License. He failed three times to enter the information accurately. An administrative mistake (a typographical error), which could have been easily avoided, had he checked his work. Taken the limited effort to dedicate a couple minutes to check his work. I was 1of3 other "patient customers" to have some "issue" to occur as I waited and others were made to take time out of their day, to return and address the rude, time-robbing "Gate Keeper" who, like the P.A., blamed the female staff who work within the Lab, for issues that clients experienced. No Ma'am! The issues are with you Sir's.

The trainers and staff are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to answer questions or offer advice, no matter your experience level. The owner, Sharon, is so welcoming and has created such a great community where everyone feels comfortable and motivated. If you're serious about lifting, this is the place to be. They have an amazing variety of machines and equipment that you won't find at most gyms, and everything is designed for people who really want to train properly. The atmosphere is motivating, the people are friendly, and it feels like a gym where everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed. A couple of my friends joined after I recommended it, and they're so glad they did. I couldn't recommend Quads more!

This is the most difficult review I've ever written for Yelp because I honestly love the idea of…read moreQuads and its history, but after a trial week, I ran back to my pathetic Planet Fitness. For years, I walked by and looked in the window just to see if some of the vibe would entice me to walk in and get energized by all the real-life Marvel Superheroes working out. And I'm glad for the week of experience I had because Quads has some of the nicest, knowledgeable, and dedicated fitness people I've ever met. From the moment I walked in to my final exit, the desk staff, the family members who run it, trainers I encountered, and a few guys who could deadlift car engines whom I asked questions how to use this or that, I felt a lot of compassion for me being the new guy in a sea of bewildering equipment that could either change my fitness life or scare me away. Bear in mind that I truly love Quads but coming from a lengthy history of memberships at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, Gorilla Sports, YMCA, Holmes Place, Chicago Athletic Clubs, and Planet Fitness (with visits to FFC, Crunch, East Bank Club, Cheetah, Life Time, Bally's, and Midtown Athletic Club), I have to do a pro and con thing. Pros It's a good environment to watch others doing astonishing calisthenic exercises and massive lifts and squats. I'll never get to that level, but it's an inspiring place to get jazzed about your own routine. Quads has a diverse membership. You'll see everything from people doing their daily treadmill to pro bodybuilders doing four-hour circuits. I saw every kind of body type and age group. People doing rehab exercises and a person with a visual impairment. The specialty here is bodybuilding, though everyone is welcome. You'll hear grunts, fits of anger, yelling of encouragement, the rage of accomplishment, and claps of high-five. I felt like I was in a place where great bodies are refined. The membership prices are fantastic for the amount of equipment you're offered, and the hours are comparable to other gyms. They offer a few additional membership discounts not listed on the website, so go in and talk with them. Kudos to a gym that finally understands the right way memberships should work--upfront and no hassles. You are constantly reminded of your potential. There are photos and awards everywhere of past and present bodybuilders and pro and amateur athletes, and you can't help but soak up some of that greatness. You're in a place where celebrities have trained, too. Cons Here's where I have to be brutally honest. I may not know the difference between an Iso-Lateral Front Lat Pulldown and an Iso-Lateral Wide Pulldown, but I do know when machines are so old that they need to be replaced. If a machine's pads are worn, replace them. If a Selectorized's weight stack has half its weight labels missing, that should be fixed asap. If a machine's so old that the frame's been painted a number of times, it's probably a good time to replace it. I'm going to guess most of the equipment is older than the members. Sure, old-school machines can be great, and a lot of bodybuilders want them, but at some point, you need to replace them. Hammer Strength, Precor, and Cybex are constantly evolving the science of ergonomics, body mechanics, and safety. Please, Quads. Get new equipment. I didn't see any dumbbells less than 10#. That's not a bad thing, but small weight dumbbells would be great for people doing rehab or weaklings like me starting back at doing simple free weight exercises. In fairness, Planet Fitness dumbbells start at 10#, too. Other reviews are correct: A lot of the equipment, especially the Selectorized machines on the first floor, are squished so closely that safety could be an issue. There are a few machines so close together that parts could touch if used in full range of motion. If you're used to a defined circuit from a previous gym--especially if most of your workout is using Selectorized equipment--you might have difficulties matching it to the machines here. Plate-loaded and cables, no problem; they'll have one of anything you'll ever want. But for Selectorized, nothing made sense because a lot of what I needed was spread throughout the gym on both floors and in hard to find areas (e.g. the pec fly/rear delt machine was in a dimly lit corner, and most of the weights in the stack had no labels). I won't go into cleanliness. Suffice it to say this is a well-worn gym. The rusty lockers and second floor smell attest to the longevity of Quads, for better or worse. Overall, you should try Quads for a week to see if you like it. Most people swear this is the best gym. No, Quads doesn't have a pool, a sauna, towel service, group fitness classes, fancy self-locking lockers, a three-story climbing wall, or sleep rooms. They offer a world of fitness possibilities in an old school gym where amazing happens.
