I haven't been on a scale in a long time, so one would figure they would have a scale in the facility (seeing that this is all about your body weight, etc). She said they don't have one, but asked me if I could give her an estimate. I said no because its been a long time, and besides I want it as accurate as possible. She then begrudgingly and very rudely , put me on the Dexascan to get my weight. It was about 20 pounds off. (I went to my neighbors after the test to use her accurate scale) So she figured the results based on that inaccurate entry of my weight. She was rushed the whole time, and kept saying she has another client! It wasn't my fault. I got there 10 minutes early! For a bit during the test, I was uncomfortable with breathing, and she pretty much raised her voice and said "Cant help that!".. with no understanding of course! Anyway, waste of time and money! Maybe other locations are better, but this one was not up to par!

The sonographer explained everything clearly, was patient when our little one decided to hide, and made sure we left with plenty of amazing pictures and videos. We loved that GoldenView offers DNA gender testing--finding out our baby's gender early added even more excitement to our pregnancy journey! Plus, the staff put our session on dropbox so we could easily share the video with family members who couldn't be there in person. Overall, the entire experience felt personal and professional. Since I don't appear male presenting yet I know it causes confusion. I have anxiety because of it when it comes to situations with medical establishments. I've had many visits that I have been treated poorly and misgendered. Physicians immediate care has changed my outlook on healthcare and I'm very thankful. The front desk person Lynzey is an outstanding person! When they were taking my information for the registration, they double checked with me on how I would like to be addressed and the pronouns that I use. They also asked if I have a chosen name beside my birth name I want to use. My ID states male but the registration asks you to choose between male or female for "sex at birth", I had to choose female. This is why I was asked in private for the pronouns and chosen name. No one has ever thought to ask me this in any medical setting. Lynzey explained that the staff will be compassionate to my needs and not to worry, that they only want me to feel better and it's ok to be honest. \They also made sure to give me information for lgbtqia+ centers for outreach and medical care. This is the first medical office where I could be myself and not feel like an alien! The nurses and DR are just as tremendous too and answered all my questions. I didn't feel like I had to hide anything. I have recommended this clinic to anyone I know. Several of my friends have had the exact same experience with the staff, which makes me so so happy. The front desk intake process was awful; the receptionist was so cold, and they make you do the check in with an ipad while you're sitting there coughing. The nurse was nicer. She suggested that since I reported sore throat I should also be checked for strep; I agreed. I didn't ask how much this would be; but since I had insurance I assumed I'd pay some money as I haven't met my deductible. A young doctor read my tests results and I was out quickly. In and out less than 1 hour total. But after insurance paid, the patient's responsibility is close to $300. Lesson learned, ask costs up front, I guess? I feel terrible saying this but if you're in a similar position, save yourself some money and don't get tested, or look elsewhere for more affordable testing.

I've been a member here for about 9 years, and if I could give Quads 1000000000 stars, I would. One of the main reasons I've stayed is how well this gym is managed. Over the past few years, after Sharon took over, she has clearly invested a lot into improving the space, renovations, new equipment, and better layout, and it shows. More importantly, Sharon and all the staff members take action to address everyone's concerns and have maintained something rare: a respectful training environment. These actions must not be undermined by the revenge of someone who was not allowed to break the gym's rules and policies. I was actually the person who reported the incident mentioned in that negative review 3 days ago. What was happening wasn't just "intense training"; it was excessive, repeated weight slamming that echoed across the entire gym, even between floors. It was disruptive to pretty much everyone there. When staff addressed it, they remained calm and professional, simply asking the member to follow the gym's rules. Instead of adjusting, the member pushed back aggressively, insisting on doing things his way and acting as if his training style gave him more rights than everyone else in the gym. That's not how a shared space works. To be clear, this has nothing to do with experience level. Some of the most serious, experienced, and professional lifters and bodybuilding competitors here train heavy and intensely, but they do so with control and respect. They understand the difference between pushing limits without creating that level of disruption or putting unnecessary stress on the equipment. This situation wasn't about "powerlifting." It was about refusing to follow basic gym rules and being disruptive. Problems like this tend to come from new lifters who confuse noise, ego-slam weights, ignore etiquette, and try to draw attention to their progress instead of focusing on proper form and control. The front desk handled the situation exactly how they should have: respectfully, clearly, and consistently with the rules. The claim in the other review that staff were "harassing" or "violent" is simply not true based on what I personally witnessed. No one was aggressive except the member who refused to cooperate. Instead of adjusting, the member pushed back aggressively, insisting on doing things his way and acting as if his training style gave him more rights than everyone else in the gym. When things didn't go his way, the review reads more like frustration than a fair account of the situation. What concerns me is how damaging that kind of review can be to a business that is clearly trying to do the right thing. This gym has built its reputation over decades, and it doesn't reflect reality when situations like this are misrepresented. I respect that management didn't bend the rules just to avoid conflict. They stood by their standards and treated the situation consistently, which is exactly what you want in a gym. At the end of the day, everyone pays the same membership fee. No one gets extra privileges at the expense of everyone else's experience. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the owner Sharon and given a tour. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere, The history behind the gym and love everyone had for it. It was clear to me this wasn't just a gym it was a community. The gym members and staff have welcomed me with open arms and after more than a year here I have not gone back to any other gym and now call this my second home. They have a variety of different equipment, cardio machines and even a posing room. I always recommend this gym to anyone I know. The staff here is excellent and they work hard on maintaining the gym standards, cleanliness, and keeping the machines in working order. This place has anything you'll need to take your fitness journey to the next level. If you're thinking of switching to a new gym I recommend giving this one a try
