Kiss your clothes goodbye when you drop them here. They are actively encouraging me to take some other customer's shirts, which they have mixed up with mine! It has been ten weeks and clearly my shirts are not going to reappear. They cost $600 new, I asked for $300 and indicated I would gladly give the money back when my shirts reappear. Their response? Go pound sand. "It has never happened before" (but just two years ago someone posted the same issue here), these must really be my shirts from my household (impossible), "I have no answer for you", anything to shirk responsibility. Negligence + avoidance = total charlatans. Seeing the pattern here, I am off to small claims court (only my second time in 60 years)...and I am writing a demand letter for $600. They assume we'll all just walk away when they screw up. read more

I have used this place for over 4 years. On one hand it is within walking distance and close. For regular cleaning it is ok but overpriced. what irks me though, is they truly can't any stains out. They mark it with a crayon, promise they will get it right but upon indpection it is still there. Beware with your dress shirts. After a few washes you notice textile dammage around the collars. This is the WORST place. I went here for years and was OK. Then they shrank things, every button on my expensive shrts would be crushed off (every one), they burnt a collar on my armani shirt...never saw burn makrs on a shirt before. Other suits it was clear that all they did was do a crappy job and press it. When I gently approached them to make them aware of the problem, to try and get them to go easier on the shirts, they denied it saying that it must be me or another cleaner. I pointed out that the shirts have yet to leave their store and they say they arrived like this. Umm, I didn't go anywhere else and would have noticed if I crushed all the buttons and burned the collar last time I wore them!!! As I am explaining this, a man walks in and says the same thing. The store owner starts to yell at him, telling him to pay and leave. The man, who was very polite and professional told them you are not listening to me, I am not paying and in fact you should fix this. The owner came at him, grabbed the customer, and proceeded to force him to pay. The customer who was a big guy got infuriated and pushed him off and warned him, do not touch me again or you are going down. Took his shirts and the owner called the police. I was waiting to continue my conversation, looked at the owner and said well, I don't think I want to finish my conversation like that and told him he was dead wrong and was disappointing. This place is totally unethical, wont do anything about it, doesnt care for clothes. Better off rolling the dice somewhere else. I learned the hard way.... read more

2-Stars might be generous... I was lured in with the cheap pricing, and have been mostly frustrated with almost every transaction. 1) I brought them a tie with my other clothes - the stain was removed, however there were several other weird stains that were added all over the tie. It was a fight to convince the male owner to re-clean the item. 2) My plain white dress shirt came back with colored spots on the collar - I brought it back to them unworn and asked what happened. They denied and blamed it on anything else they could think of and reluctantly agreed to fix the stain... which they couldn't end up get out. SO... thanks for ruining my shirt guys! 2) Every time I've dropped off an order with their coupon, they acknowledge the discount and say, "yeah, ok". Which i'm learning is code for: "I'm going to placate you now, but you'll forget, I'll play dumb, and charge you full price when you pick it up." Both the husband and the wife play this game - it is clearly Standard Operating Procedure how they knowingly try to cheat customers this way. All in all this is another example of a small business owner that thinks the best way to succeed is at the expense of their customers rather than the alternative of being honest with your fellow man and providing excellent service. I'm sure they won't last long and another ownership will take the reigns. Until then I wouldn't trust your valuable items with them - not worth the $1 savings in the end. read more
