I've never posted a negative review. I prefer to deal with issues 1:1 with the business owner. However, in this instance, trying to get resolution to a significant problem, has been a nightmare. I was grossly overcharged for some simple ironing of clean table linens. The prices were raised with no notification. After multiple phone calls just to get the manager to call me back and follow up, she said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to the owners and that is still yet to happen four days later. I would give them a B on quality. The necks of the collared shirts always look incredibly shoddy. I think this business should have a sign that reads: "Things are not as they appear, at least they won't be when you get them back." My beautiful heirloom knit sweater that took a year to make from my dear 93 year old friend, came back to me from its original beauty looking like it was ready for three football players to fit inside it and like it had personality visited the holocaust, filled with holes everywhere. While I grieve the fact that it will never look the same again, I am assured by the owner that they owe me nothing, because after all, I trusted them enough to bring it in and drop it off. I've been very happy with Elite up until my last visit. They now require you to sign a waiver if you have a stain on your garment. They didn't get the stain out of the garment, and it was worse than when I brought it in. I won't be coming back. read more

I brought my wedding dress here to preserve. They never called me when it was finished, the dress was dumped in a box in a wad, and it was filthy with these black smudges everywhere. The service cost $350, and my dress is in poor condition. I am so frustrated and angry! I know my dress is most important to me, but I was extremely disappointed when I saw the care they used. This is the last time to be an Elite Cleaners customer. My jacket looks no different than when I dropped it off. The stains are just as visible as they ever were. My overall concerns: - They did not warn me they might not be able to remove the stains. - They did not tell me they were unable to remove them when I picked the jacket up (see the pictures). - They did not apologize, offer a refund or demonstrate any customer service skills. - The man at the counter dismissively said "I'm sure they tried their best" when I pointed the stains out and then walked off. I dropped my silk pants off to get cleaned a couple months ago and have been calling them to try to get them back and they cannot find my pants. I have had to call them three times now because they keep telling me they will call me back but never do. I am very disappointed because I no longer have the expensive pants that I loved and they do not seem to make an effort to find them when they are the ones who lost them in the first place. I would not recommend this place and they need to do better. read more

This place ruins clothing blames the customer for stains and does not take accountability for their poor job. Never use them for expensive items. I was treated appallingly. I complained about the ironing job and was met with complaints that there were stains. There were two small stains and was told they were all over. Always take a before and after shot. This is the ironing job was horrible and they used press which was too hot and ruined the silk. So dissatisfied! read more

Stay away. They burned me three times. Shame on me for going back after the first two (minor instances of poor work on suits and not removing stains.) Last time got a brand new suit back with three different tears on inner lining which can't be fixed. Will never go back. I received my order on 1/13/2023 and upon inspection, noticed that one of my pajama tops was missing. I contacted the office and was told they would locate the missing top. I have had no return of my missing item, nor any communication from Elite Cleaners. I sent a message via the online contact section a week+ ago and still no response. I also inquired as to how the charges are assessed for items. I sent pajama sets that came up with different pricing - tops are listed as "sweater/vest" and a fee of $7.61 whereas another is labeled "shirts-on hanger and a fee of $3.91. Pajama pants were either 7.61 or $7.81 depending on whether they were coded as pants/trousers or pants/slacks. I am still waiting for resolution for my missing pajama top and an explanation for the bizarre coding of charges. read more

Very confused about pricing???? Staff was jumping around on "specials" and denying done I had loaded on my smart phone. My first time using this local cleaners and NOT impressed with the counter representative. They have a sign in device at the front counter and the counter person was clueless when I told her if I should register or sign in on the device. She shrugged and said I don't really know???? I then asked her about the YELP, $10 discount for new customers and she said that was fraudulent and she'd never heard of it. I brought it up on my phone to confirm and she said she'd have to call the owner and verify??? I told her, "that's the way I found their business", and she said probably a scam. FRANKLY, I seriously doubt that YELP, a publicly traded company on the market is "scamming", to assist a small business in Arkansas, in order to offer $10 discount. The counter representative then acted like she was making a call and obviously was not and then said ant discount will be subtracted at pickup. I asked for a receipt and confirmation due to the inconsistency I'd gotten from her and she told me she'd remember. Well......., she didn't when I came back to pick up over 30 items. I literally had to start from scratch defending my integrity. OVERALL, EXHAUSTING EXPERIENCE and WILL NOT EVER USE this local/area business for my dry cleaning services. I'm happy to drive a few miles for professional, legitimate pricing and competent dry cleaning services. I am now using TODAYS CLEANERS in Johnson, AR that's actually just 3 mikes from my home in Fayetteville. Just thought I should share my experience so others don't experience such BS. read more

I contacted management twice and they promised to call me back and never did; the owner also promised to research and get back to me and never did. I am going to Europe and wanted five shirts cleaned and folded for my trip. So I picked out five fairly new shirts and actually looked over them closely to make sure there were no stains. When I picked them up they had them in boxes that were taped up, so I could not check them at the store. When I got home I found one on my favorite shirts had a huge spot on the collar that looked like the result of a big drop of bleach. The shirt, which was fairly expensive, was ruined. That spot was not on it when I took it in, yet someone had put a damaged tag on it to make it look like it was. So not only did they ruin the shirt, they lied about it. I had quite a mixed experience at first, I'm not going to lie. They're building is confusing to get to and confusing to park at, which isn't their fault (good old city square layouts), but a fair warning to prepare with change for meters, if necessary. The lady who took my dry cleaning was kind and quick, and I was able to pick it all up the next day for $10 per piece, which is a very good price! Unfortunately, one of my dresses had leather trim, which was entirely stripped on one side from the cleaning, completely ruining the dress. When I first emailed, I got no response, which did not make me happy. However, when I emailed again a week later, Ryan got back to me within minutes and helped me feel seen and heard with what had happened. There was another week-long hiatus after that (he had gone on vacation, which was completely fine and understandable! I would recommend setting an automatic reply to emails next time stating that so people know you'll get back to them as soon as you're back, but that's my only note). When he got back to me, he then immediately and entirely compensated me for my ruined dress, which I can't thank them enough for! I'm a poor grad student, so my main fear was not being able to replace my dress for my conference, but I will definitely be able to now! Not counting my dress, all of my other dry cleaning was perfect, and my boyfriend only uses Elite Cleaners for all of his suits and he's never had a single problem, so I honestly believe this was just a one-time thing and an issue with how tricky leather can be. They did the best they could to make up for the lost item, and I will be eternally grateful for that, and I highly recommend them. Even if something goes wrong, they do their very best to make things right, and that's all I can ask for. read more

I've been traveling as a consultant to various cities for twenty years, often returning to the same place every week for months at a stretch. Ironing suitcase-wrinkled shirts in a hotel room every morning is no way to live, so you can say I'm a seasoned user of many cleaning services around the country. Elite has been a great find. My shirts are clean, of course, but they are also waiting for me at the hotel for my late evening arrivals. I love to spread the good news whenever I can about a business, but this is a warning! I'd give no stars if it was an option. I am currently trying to recoup at least part of my money for a Ralph Lauren comforter that was being cleaned for the FIRST time and they ruined it! Only a few months old and now is faded, lumpy and has a 2 inch tear in the fabric! Now they are refusing to reimburse me at all and telling me "it happens sometimes" and that I signed a waiver when I left it with them. I had no idea! They say the fabric was bad but why did the pillow shams (same fabric) come back looking good as new? What a poor way to do business! I'm giving Elite cleaners two stars because they picked up and dropped off on schedule. I'm here in Fayetteville for medical treatment. Doing laundry was taking up a lot of time. When one has fibromyalgia. There's a lot of pain and fatigue. Doing laundry isn't always easy. I called Elite cleaners for wash and fold services. Thinking a professional cleaners was going to launder and fold my clothes. I didn't feel I needed to tell them to read labels or give instruction on folding. They asked if I needed hangers. As it was casual attire. I told them no. Again, I assumed a professional establishment that offers wash and fold services could get the job done. I left my laundry for them at my hotel front desk. In a laundry bag. I received it back in a plastic bag in that laundry bag. All my clothes folded as if a 5 year old folded them. Shorts and t shirts. Wrinkled. No care at all in folding. Ok I wasn't happy. It wasn't until today when I realized a shirt they washed had shrunk and had beads on it. The beads are on everything. Not suppose to be dried in a dryer. Did they not read the label? I've got two pairs of yoga pants that are too short now. Did they throw everything in one washer and dryer. Is there a LOW setting? I've got beads on everything. I have no doubt this place might do great dry cleaning. But I'd watch out for their wash and fold services. They can't fold, and obviously washing according to a label isn't their strong suit either. While I have never used this place before I will say that I'm sick and tired of them leaving their bright green bags on my front door after I repeatedly call them and politely asked them to not do that since we are not an interested customer. I wish they would take addresses down that don't want their bags and quit wasting our time by putting a big green bag on our front door that we have to keep up with so they can come back and get it! My husband took one of his suits in to have it cleaned, and they did a great job. We were very happy with their service, and how the suit was cleaned. Next visit, my husband took some drapes in to have them cut down and re-sewn to a shorter length. No one gave him a price on what it was going to cost, but just said when they would be ready. He goes in to pick them up, and the guy says $70.00. For 4 panels of drapes to be cut down and re-sewn. We could have bought new ones for that cost. There was no apology for not letting us know the cost before the work was done. No discount for being shocked by the cost. Maybe it's our fault for not asking before, but who expects to pay $70.00 to have fabric cut and re-sewn in a straight line? We sure didn't, but here we were very disappointed in being stuck with that bill. So my husband paid it, but we will be finding another cleaners. That's a shame too, because we weren't disappointed with their work, just the fact that they left a very important factor out of the interaction-the cost. read more

I have dropped off a few of my boyfriends suit jackets twice now. The first time there were no issues; the suit jackets had pins on them when we dropped them off, and they were in the pockets when we picked them up. Great service! The second time I dropped off his suit jackets, I asked the employee if I should take the pins off since they had taken them off the previous time- I even asked her twice and then reassured her that I wouldn't mind taking them off. She told me not to worry about it and that they would take care of it. When my boyfriend went to pick up his suit jackets- they almost didn't give them his 3rd jacket. After retrieving his jacket, he checked for the pins to make sure that they were there. No pins on or in any of the 3 jackets. The employee (which I believe was the manager) kept saying that they are not responsible for lost pins and was not very understanding of the situation. He didn't seem to care. I wish that they would make it clear to all of their employees to tell their customers to take off suit jacket pins (or anything they're not responsible for) prior to having them cleaned. This was an avoidable mistake, especially since I had asked several times if I needed to take off the pins. read more

Do not use this dry cleaner. Very poor quality of care and customer service. My wife has sent whites to them and they have come back yellow and dingy. They also destroyed a delicate shirt of hers by putting it in the washing machine! We send our delicates and dry clean laundry to the dry cleaners for them to be DRY CLEANED...not washed. We can wash our own clothes at home. Hunter (the manager) said from his point of view, they read the tag and WASH accordingly. He also said that if the clothes have beads or sequence...that he cannot guarantee that it will not get torn off! Buttons commonly get torn off as well. I thought professional dry cleaning was for sending expensive clothes to be dry cleaned and taken care of? NOT HERE!!! read more

I have an e-mail from Ryan that they would bill me at the end of the month. I have been using the Springdale location since before they bought the location out. I have only been to Elite one time. I was very happy with my service. I just wish you had a better place to park and come in. I do not like having to pay for parking. Especially when my stop should be for five minutes or less. I would love to get some coupons! I had decided that I would never go to the cleaners again after my favorite place went out of business. When I went to pick up my shirt they could not find it for 15 minutes then told me it wasn't ready when they said it would and for me to come back. Still took a while to find my shirt.
