The nurses, with no exception, were so gentle and always came in with a smile and sunny disposition. You couldn't help but to sincerely like all of them (one adopted my husband and I as her "hospital grandparents"). They were all very efficient and demonstrated that they cared and saw you as a person -- not just another body. The hospitalist was very caring and was never rushed. The food was really good and delicious. Everything was great with the exception of the room. I was in the older building and the room was quite small with no place to put anything. The positive was that it was a private room as nearly all of them were. I am extremely pleased with the care received there. No kidding, it was a wonderful experience -- except for the pain of a broken femur.

God has really given him knowledge and kindness to care for patients. Dr. Y is knowledgeable, knows what he is doing and I would choose him as a doctor again every time because he cares! Overall the hospital staff in the ER specifically also took good care of me and made sure I got the care I needed even thought it took sooooo long... Facility overall seemed cleaned, well kept up, and sanitary.

There's a big lot and plenty of parking. There are a couple of EV parking spots here as well. The building is spacious on the inside and has a much better design than the Keller Rd location since this one has more open spaces and doesn't feel so crowded w walls everywhere. Upon walking in, there's the self check-in kiosk that you can walk up to. However, if you don't have an appointment or just getting labs done, you'll need to get in line and check in with a real live human. There is a small coffee shop inside w light snacks if you need caffeine, tea, or a snack. The pharmacy is also nice and roomy, and the wait isn't very long. There is one nurse here I'm not a huge fan of, and she was the one I got today. I won't state her name for the sake of discretion, but she is NOT a pleasant nurse at all!! If you work in healthcare, you should be more compassionate and caring when talking to your patients!! If I come back to this location, I'll be requesting a nurse other than her since she isn't delightful at all!! The configuration of this location wasn't well-planned out either. You can't turn left and would have to turn right then another right at the light and make a U-turn from there to get out. That's so inconvenient, not to mention highly inefficient!! Make an exit on the west side of the parking lot for easier exit! I'd give it 5 stars but nurse B is the reason why I've deducted 1 star.

Loma Linda Hospital trades heavily on its legacy and branding, but once you move past the façade, what you encounter is a system startlingly out of step with modern medical standards. The protocols feel outdated, the equipment feels dated, and the bedside manner if one can even call it that often borders on indifferent. Many other reviewers have noted the same pattern: long stretches of neglect, staff who seem inconvenienced by the presence of patients, and a pervasive sense that efficiency and compassion are optional add-ons rather than core values. My experience aligned with those concerns far too closely. One of the most telling examples is their approach to patient comfort. In 2026, most reputable hospitals use variable-pressure, inflatable beds designed to prevent pressure sores and reduce pain. Loma Linda, astonishingly, does not. Instead, they wedge rigid, diamond-shaped foam blocks under patients' backs devices that feel more like medieval orthopedic experiments than modern medical supports. Numerous reviewers have complained about this exact issue, and it's not hard to understand why. It's painful, unnecessary, and emblematic of a facility that has not kept pace with basic patient-care standards. What's worse is the attitude that accompanies it. Patients are often treated as burdens rather than human beings in distress. Several reviewers describe being ignored for hours, spoken to curtly, or dismissed outright when expressing discomfort. That was my experience as well: a sense that the staff had grown numb to suffering, or simply stopped caring about it. Loma Linda's reputation may rest on decades of history and a veneer of moral authority, but reputation cannot substitute for empathy, modern equipment, or competent patient-centered care. Eventually, every one of us will face a moment of vulnerability in a hospital bed. One can only hope that by then, the people running this institution will have rediscovered the basic humanity that seems to have slipped through the cracks.
