Recently had a dental procedure. Everything went well. Dentist and hygienist both professional. After the procedure, I paid before leaving. Later I get a statement from my insurance company with my expected out of pocket expense. What I paid was more than my expected out of pocket. I called the office to clarify, and was told that not everything was run through the insurance because it wouldn't be covered. This was not a cosmetic procedure, it should have been covered and definitely should have been submitted to my insurance. (Counts towards max out of pocket) Very sketchy billing practices. I came to Elite Dental in December 2025 with the goal of starting Invisalign treatment.It was very important that I work with a professional and come up with a plan . I followed each step of their process, including an initial cleaning, xrays, a fitting appt, and an additional cleanings - all separate visits they required before moving forward. On the day of that appointment, I encountered unexpected traffic and called ahead to let the office know I would be approximately 15-20 minutes late. I was told that was not a problem and was rescheduled for another time that same day. However, shortly afterward, I was informed that the practice no longer wished to have me as a patient. This was extremely surprising and disappointing. I was told I would receive a referral to another provider, but I never received any follow-up communication. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of communication after my dismissal from the practice. I had to send multiple emails requesting my dental records before receiving a response. When I finally did hear back, there was no acknowledgment of my questions, no explanation regarding my treatment status, no referral information, and no guidance on next steps. The response consisted only of a code to access my records. There was no discussion of continuity of care or any clear exit plan to help me transition to another provider. As a result, I am now forced to start the entire process over with a new provider after investing significant time and effort into meeting Elite Dental's requirements. I trusted this practice with my care and was committed to moving forward with treatment. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled felt unprofessional, lacked basic patient communication, and left me without the treatment plan I had spent months working toward. Started out great. Every time I went there were more issues with I need to buy this or I need to try that. I paid upfront for a procedure through the billing department who had insurance information as well and the last two times I was told I need to pay more. I would not have done the unnecessary procedure if I had known the additional cost. read more

I was told that i urgently needed deep cleaning then I had to wait 4 months because only 1 hygienist is available. Mind you they cancelled my original appointment because my hygienist left and they gave me notice of 1 day for the appt replacing the cancellation They are quick to charge you $50 for cancellations or being late So much has changed- I don't know if this is a dentist office or a spa But of course if I wanted a more highly reimburse able treatment there was availably within a week - so frustrating The work is good but the experience ...ugh read more

All smiles and nods until you can't follow their prescribed detail plan to the tee. I couldn't afford a crown they said I needed in back tooth that wasn't bothering me. When I said, I wanted to wait to do after the holidays the dentist and hygienist listened, smiled and nodded. I left the office actually thinking everything was totally fine and actually reconsidering learning more about doing the crown at my next visit in February. A week or so later I received a curt photocopied letter that I was terminated as a patient for non compliance to said plan. What!?! New dentist said crown could wait. Very telling. Life is too short for your voice not to be heard and your choices disrespected or dismissed. Beware the real motive behind this practices expectation of patient compliance. read more

just another dentist trying to upcharge everything. it's all about the money. Cleanings covered by insurance are being sold for an additional $95 for gum therapy and mouthwash on a 21 college student. cavities also covered by insurance are an additional $70 per cavity because they use a fancy laser. If we pay a lot of money for high option dental we should get proper care. Not using our health to make a profit read more

do not use this dentist, unscrupulous business practices, should have pulled my whole family - final insult was charging for gingivitis screening that should be part of regular dental cleaning, had recommended $$$ of dollars in dental work needed which proved to be unnecessary after seeking second opinion, must be to pay for new offices perhaps? I booked an appointment a couple weeks in advance, for 4PM on a Thursday. I gave explicit information about why I was booking the appointment. Easy. The day before the appointment, I get texted with "So, confirming your 3PM tomorrow....." I replied and forwarded their confirmation message for 4PM. I get a "Yeah, we had some changes on our end and were wondering if you can come at 3?" The proper way to have done this would to have asked up front, not to try and sneak it past me. Strike 1. Then they wanted me to email pics of Dental insurance card and other personal info. Send my PII via unsecured text messages to a number I don't know? I guess you never studied about HIPAA. Strike 2. Then they started texting about cleanings, which I never asked for, I guess they never read the forms they had me fill out. Strike 3. They struck out before I ever set foot on the premises. Not many can claim that accomplishment. read more

She is only looking to make money to fill her designer handbags. She does not care about her patients. Her response to a patient with dental anxiety and is in pain was "that's what you get for waiting." Her office hours are not what they portray them as. They are really only open a few days a week when their voicemail says they are there Tuesday though Saturday. Who wants a dentist who works 3 days a week and cannot handle emergencies. These were things we all put up with because we were there a couple times a year and it hadn't been an issue. Dr Perry's true colors showed when my son decided to go with extractions in an oral surgery setting instead of her office. Several days prior to the procedure one of his teeth became extremely painful and Dr Perry would not prescribe anything to help him get through the weekend until his appointment. She was hoping for the thousands of $$ from implant procedures in her office that we had discussed the week prior to my son deciding on a different treatment plan. She was not going to be any help even though our entire family were patients of her practice. Find another provider. She is not a caring individual. My daughter said that she did not enjoy going there because they are all snotty. I agree with her. Don't waste your time. There are many other providers who actually care about their patients. read more

Dr Perry is an excellent dentist. I am an MD and have the ability to professionally evaluate her work. I had a couple of fillings, a root canal and a crown done ( that's significant work) and she did an excellent job. She is also a very nice and friendly person with a great doctor-patient interaction. Not a place to go, one girl tried collecting payment before work was done, then proceeded dropped things while I was stretched back in the chair, making the procedure longer than it should have been, the crown (which the dr was soooo pumped she could make with her new toy on the spot) was low grade quality. The Dr still works full time someplace else so you can only get apt two days a week & for all that going on, she charges top $. I understand it must be a challenge to get a business off the ground but don't do it off my back. Ps The hygienist was great, but Boo on the rest of you, get it together! read more

I switched to Elite after moving to Shrewsbury. I had a great dentist back home that I was going to for YEARS so I was nervous to switch. I went for my first consultation and cleaning and had an excellent experience. The office is gorgeous and all staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Perry was so nice and understanding of all my concerns and made sure she answered all of my questions. I came back a few weeks later for a small filling and was so impressed. I highly recommend! I went in for a root canal and every effort was made to make the process as pain fee as possible and make sure I was comfortable! Just moved to the area and was very pleased to have chosen Dr. Perry for my dentist! I didn't realize how crappy the place I went to for 10 years was until I found these folks. Violet gave a super thorough cleaning, and Dr. Perry has a machine that will make a crown while you wait! The most comfortable I have been while getting a filling. I've had a few fillings in the past and this was the most comfortable I have been during the process. Dr. Perry and her staff were friendly and they got me fixed up and did so quickly so I could get back to my office. Nice waiting room and the tv's in the examination rooms are a nice touch. Sorry, guys. The young man who greeted us at the front desk when I made my daughter's first dental appointment upon moving to Westborough was pleasant and professional. He was appropriately dressed. I was looking forward to her first check up from a local dentist. My bad, I forgot to check my voice mail before pulling her from school that day. I get to the office with her, & a sloppily dressed young woman informed me that they left me a message saying the "Hygienist called out due to issues with the weather. You'll have to reschedule your appointment." Front office also looked dirty. What were the "weather issues", you may ask? It was raining. Funny everyone else in that small town managed to get to work that day in spite of the rain. I took my business elsewhere & found a great dentist within walking distance of me. read more

Recently had a tooth cleaning and a root canal. Found the staff very pleasant and they made me feel welcomed and like a friend. They did a great job with very little pain. I also love there is a tv in each room. Would much rather watch an episode of Friends then stare at the ceiling! It really helped the time go by and distract me from the drilling. Office decor is nice and updated: free coffee, tvs, ipads, massage chairs... all fancy gimicks to distract from the obvious lack of knowledge from the staff and availability of the doctor. I bought a deal online for Invisalign to get treatment about a year ago. To my surprise, this is an office that is open only 2 days a week, and the doctor isn't even there on both days! How hard is it to come to work when you're only open two days a week? I am about 6 months into my orthodontic treatment and I've only met the doctor twice - at my first appointment and once last week. The assistant, although nice, didn't know how to answer my questions and when I asked when the dr would be available, she couldn't give me a straight answer. The hygienist rolled her eyes when I asked when an office manager would be available to speak with, stating "he doesn't have a set schedule here." I felt bad for the staff who seems to be forced to juggle all of the patients while the dr and manager are never around. I went on their facebook page and it showed a picture of them snowboarding. Completely unprofessional. Don't bother coming to this place if you expect top notch dental care. Prices are high for the area and quality of crowns (from a friend who had a crown done in 1 appointment) are sub-par at best. I'd rather go to an office that spends their money on quality care and not on high tech frills to distract unassuming customers. read more

For several years I have had horrible dental office experiences: either rip off places who used inferior labs and products or personalities that were not cut out to be with people. Elite Dental Care in Westboro is totally different. The office is clean, comfortable and Dr. Perry is confident and capable. She exudes personality and the procedures seamless. I had a crown made elsewhere that had given me problems from the start. I had it remade 3 times and had a root canal etc. Dr. Perry removed it, created a new CERAC crown and I was out of the office in two hours exactly. From the moment it was placed in my mouth it felt natural and comfortable. The price is commensurate with any other quality dental office. Staff is courteous and capable. It had been close to 14 years since I last went to a dentist and I decided it was time. I scheduled an appointment with Elite after receiving a flyer in the mail. Walking into their office it appeared very clean and well kept. The receptionist was very friendly and I waited only a few minutes before being seated in a chair. The dental assistant was very friendly and went over the process and Dr Perry was the same. I've been 3 times this year and have not had a bad visit or anything remotely close to one. big changes and not for the better. After spending several thousand dollars in 2 years at the drs recommendation, my mouth hurts all the time, they just keep saying they don't see anything. After not being spoken to while I waited and then getting my cleaning, the person as the desk stood up and yelled my name because surprisingly for the first time I owed money after a cleaning. Pretty bad since they kept my credit balance for several months. Guess I have to be careful with any office since I have such good insurance, I cannot believe this would be an issue again-as it was with my last dentist. read more
