I was in search of a trustworthy dentist and with staff members that cared about their patients. After reading fantastic reviews, I made appointments with Dr. A for myself and for my family. It turned out I made an excellent choice. Our first interaction with Dr. A's office staff was a very positive one. Spoke to Arlene and she was superb!!! She helped us make appointments for 4 to see Dr. A on all the same day. Arlene was also very thorough in explaining the insurance benefits and coverage before our appointments. Few weeks later, we had our appointments with Dr. A and her staff. Her dental assistant, x-ray tech, and Arlene was extremely professional and pleasant. **Get a second opinion before going through any dental work from here** I've been putting off writing this review because they're so nice but i can't wait any longer. Its been over six months since i've had some teeth filled here and its still painful to floss. Every visit was painful and pricey. This included the x-raying, the deep cleaning, and the final straw was the fillings. I should have known better considering i dreaded every time i had to return for every suggested procedure. When i finally had enough from the pain and went to my friend's recommended dentist, that dentist informed me that she didn't see all the procedures needed from the x-rays and saw my teeth were overly grinded by this dentist. Where do I begin! I met Dr Abedian back in 2020 when I developed TMJ! She has the most incredible, gentle, and nurturing energy. Despite my immense anxiety around the dentist, especially as someone who has TMJ, she was so patient and trauma informed in meeting my needs. Since 2020, I have remained a patient under her care because of her approach. Throughout my medical Journey, I've had really terrible and traumatic dental experiences. I was referred here by my coworker. Our office is up the street, so he found this place first. Now him, his partner, myself, and hopefully soon, my husband, all go here! It's a great dentist's office! There's free parking in the attached garage, as well as behind the building. If you're heading north on Halstead, cross the street at the light out front of the building and head towards the hill, and you'll see a right turn into another parking lot. The lady at the front desk is SO sweet! She was so upbeat and kind every time we spoke on the phone. She sent me paperwork to complete online before my appt, so I was able to walk right in the day of my appt. I don't think I've ever been to a dentist office and not had to wait in the waiting room, so that was nice! I appreciated the efficiency. I was in and out after routine x-rays and cleaning in maybe 35 min. max. The dentist's assistant made the x-ray process a breeze. The dentist was such a gem! She's easy to talk to and was very gentle with her process. I have a bit of anxiety at the dentist, but my cleaning didn't hurt one bit! I wish all my past dentist's office experiences had been this easy breezy! I'll definitely be a long-time patient here! read more

We changed dentist recently as our old one no longer took our insurance. We were very fortunate to find Dr. Abedian. I was overdue for a cleaning, and took my 3 year old and 5 year old for a check up as well. The staff was great with the kids, making XRays and a cleaning a very kid friendly experience . Super gentle with my 3 year old, and kids were very excited to pick out a toy from the treasure box at the end. I am always very nervous with dentists for my cleaning, not due to any prior bad experience, but just because I fear needles and pain. I'm am sooo happy I found this place! After combing through what felt like thousands of reviews on Google and Yelp, I felt confident in reaching out and making an appointment here. Dr. Abedian was fantastic- seriously- I cannot stop raving about my visits and have convinced my family to go to her as well. She was kind, patient, and reassuring in a way that I wish my previous dentists had been. I went in for a check up and to fix a filling that had been done wrong by another dentist. She heard me out and then explained my options. I ended up having to have a couple of fillings and wasn't in any pain other than a bit of soreness that went away the next day. She takes insurance and pricing is reasonable and explained in a non-pushy way. The office was so clean and modernized, as was the technology they used. For covid prevention measures- I felt super safe. Fantastic service yet again. So far I've gone twice; once in a October of 2019 and again in October 2020. I had been scheduled for a follow-up in March 2020, but COVID hit, the office closed for a bit, and then I put it off. I was apprehensive about going anywhere let alone the dentist. When I went in 2019, I was impressed by how friendly and personable every single person in the office was. Despite not being a fan of the dentist (like many!), I felt at ease. The entire space was clean and fresh, Arlene was cool as hell, and Dr. Abedian was the best. I walked out knowing I found "my" dentist. Going back in 2020-post COVID felt exactly the same! Dr A and her staff are still as amazing as ever. And they're taking precautions to ensure we feel safe. They asked me COVID questions before I went in, took my temperature upon entry, and the entire place was clean clean clean!! Side note: After Dr. A worked her magic on my teeth, her hygienist took over. I heard Dr. A get excited about something in the other room...she came in and told us she got excited because her pack of Clorox wipes had been delivered!!! I have found this dentist and staff to be amongst the best I've ever had. The front desk is friendly, welcoming, professional and SO great with my kids. They have taken me in the same day when I had an emergency, and accommodate scheduling me and children together for our regular cleanings. Dr. Abedian and her staff are great! They're always warm and friendly, and they really care about your dental health and hygiene. They do their very best to keep you on track. I had scheduled a cleaning for April several months ago, before COVID-19. Dr. Abedian called ahead of time to tell me their offices would be closed for the month of April. As with many other services, I wasn't sure how the shelter-in order would affect their business in the long run, or how they would handle COVID-19 precautions upon resuming. However, Dr. Abedian called me a few days before they would be resuming on May 15 and got me booked on the first day. I was very impressed with how seriously they took the virus and implemented their safety measures and PPE use. They started by calling with a series of questions a day in advance. On the day of the visit, I had to call and inform them before walking into the office. At the office, I had to fill out a form to confirm the questions asked from the day before and gargle a hydrogen peroxide solution prior to the cleaning. All of the staff wore face shields on top of face masks with gloves while working. They also gave me a visor since I had to stare at a light during the cleaning.
