This is a great place for Ortho - expanders, braces, and/or Invisalign. We were referred here by several of my daughters' friends. The doctor and her technicians are wonderful, courteous, and very professional. They have state of the art technologies here for taking x-rays and 3D images or retainers. After my treatment, I switched to using the retainers. Unfortunately my top retainer cracked after less than 2 months even though I took good care. This review is long overdue, but I wanted to do it justice with all the details, so bear with me! Dr. Lee is an incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated orthodontist. I had my first free consultation back in the summer of 2020, during the height of COVID. From the start, I felt completely safe because the office was spotless, and they were diligent in following all health protocols. The consultation itself was super detailed--it included an X-ray and 3D scan, all for free! Dr. Lee walked me through what would be needed to address my concerns and gave me a transparent price estimate. There was no pressure to sign on or commit right away, which I appreciated since orthodontic work is such a big investment. I ultimately chose her because I had a good feeling: the office was clean, her staff was kind, the equipment was state-of-the-art, and of course, she was clearly very smart and capable. My case wasn't easy either--I needed both upper and lower jaw surgery. This meant Dr. Lee had to coordinate the timing with my health insurance and my oral surgeon. She communicated directly with my surgeon, and her emails were always professional, thorough, and timely. Unfortunately, after my surgery, my bite was still far from where it needed to be due to the nature of the procedure, so Dr. Lee carefully adjusted the treatment plan to address the issue. I had to get two teeth removed (from my general dentist), and she came up with a completely new approach. She was incredibly accommodating, and the pricing for the additional, unexpected treatment was very reasonable. Over the course of my treatment, Dr. Lee helped me with so much: braces, jaw surgery preparations, temporary anchorage devices (TADs), Invisalign, and even laser gum treatment. When I decided to switch to Invisalign before my wedding, Dr. Lee made the transition seamless, and again, her pricing was more than fair. She truly worked tirelessly to get my smile to where I wanted it to be. To put it into perspective, this was my third time undergoing orthodontic treatment (the first two with a different doctor), and she made sure this time was my last. I couldn't be happier with the results! To show how much I trust her, I even sent my grandma to Dr. Lee for Invisalign, and my grandma now wonders why she didn't go sooner. Beyond her technical expertise, Dr. Lee and her team are some of the most friendly, responsive, and accommodating health care staff I've ever worked with. Whether by email, phone, or text, they were always easy to reach. Dr. Lee also has an impressive community focus--for instance, she is helping clients who lost their retainers or aligners during this current 2025 wildfire. My photos show the transformation from September 2020 (before treatment) to October 2024 (after treatment). Yes, my case took 4 years, but that's because of the complexity and the switch to Invisalign. Just a heads-up, I did have teeth bonding and 4 crowns on my back teeth, I had my front four top teeth bonded primarily to even out their lengths and address some uneven areas that couldn't be corrected through orthodontic work alone. The crowns were functional, as they were necessary to repair the wear and tear on my pre-molars from all those years of an unaligned bite. This is a long overdue review that I should've written a long time ago. I am grateful for Dr. Lee because she made me love my smile. Her team is highly professional, friendly, and fun. I'm not sure why some people said her appointments take a long time. When I did my treatments, it would usually take less than 5 minutes to get called. Perhaps, some people came when one of the staff was calling off due to an emergency (which had happened to me but only once). The office is extremely clean, and it smells pleasant. Speaking of the treatment itself, there was a time when my teeth were very stubborn, and they did not respond to the aligners as expected. Thankfully, Dr. Lee was prepared for the unexpected, and she made adjustments on the spot by modifying my aligners. I am loving my smile now, and I think it is worth every penny. We did not go with her because she is in the Arcadia area, but my impression is that you will get great results. Only drawback is she is not in network for dental plans. One of the cleanest, well organized, and state of the art dental practices I've seen in my life. We started out with an initial consult for my kid and they gave her the full round of imagery to make sure they had the proper information for a fully detailed consultation and program. None of the other ortho offices we visited did anything except take photos.
