After a brief consultation at the shop, I went with their 3M Ceramic IR film - 15% for all sides, rear windows & sunroof and 35% front windshield. At first, I wanted to black out my front windshield. However, I occasionally have to place a handicap placard on my rear view mirror when transporting certain family members. Danny strongly recommended that I go with a light enough film to be still able to see the placard when displayed, obviously for legal reasons. Thanks Danny for the recommendation! Danny initially mentioned that it would take about 4 hrs but they got me out very quickly in just a couple. Lastly, at the completion, he made sure to let me know about little details like to not open my windows for the next 2 days to let the film settle and also that I may notice some streaking/air bubble-like appearances on the films which will ultimately disappear. (Putting my trust in Danny since these were quite noticeable as I left the shop. ) Great pricing with Lifetime warranty, too! Overall, I had a great experience from beginning to end. Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location. Overall, I think the company itself does good work, and have used the Kearny Mesa location in the past several times with excellent success!! I would not choose this location again.

HoW is crazy detail-oriented and i'd definitely recommend HoW to anyone looking for *very* high quality work! i had shopped around for price, and there were other highly rated shops that were cheaper and who promised a 24-hr to 48-hr turnaround time. but after talking to several of these other shops, i came away feeling uneasy with their glib promises and cavalier responses to my questions. so i decided to stick with the team i *knew* would do an awesome job! and i'm glad i did!

5 stars isn't enough for the experience I had at Elite Finish this week…read more After getting sideswiped by a minivan last Saturday, I brought my VW GTI in on Monday hoping they could buff out the tire marks left on my car. The team got to work right away and gave it a real effort -- but in the process, they discovered something I never knew: my car (purchased brand new in 2019!) had apparently been repainted at some point before I bought it, which made the job much more complicated than a standard detail could handle. Rather than cut corners or give me a mediocre result, they were completely upfront with me and explained that an auto body shop would be better equipped to do the job right. They even recommended a nearby shop they trusted. Here's the part that really got me: after all that time and effort, they didn't charge me a single dollar. I was already stressed from the accident, and the kindness I was shown here genuinely made my day better. This is a team with real integrity -- they care more about doing right by their customers than making a quick buck. Located in a business park along Miramar Rd. it was very easy to find. There was plenty of parking outside the business and walking in, there was only one customer ahead of us. There were only two employees on site, and Tyler helped us with all the details regarding type of tint, placement, warranty, etc. We were so impressed by his knowledge, efficiency, and that he was so kind and personable. Knowing we were going to stay and wait, he offered channels for us to watch on the tv. The car was finished when he said it would be.
