I asked them for a recommendation thinking that would be the best way to go. When I got the rec, I called and spoke to a woman who had me run through what I wanted to have done. She said someone would be in touch with me either that day or the next. Two weeks later still no follow up. So I call back and she seems surprised and says she will follow up with me. She calls me back to tell me the person assigned to my estimate had called me multiple times but that the number wasn't working. Made no sense. It was my cell phone and she was calling me to tell me this, on that very same number! But I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The estimator called me and we set up time for him to come evaluate the work that I needed done. I left work early to meet him. He seemed like a great guy and I was really pleased with our conversations around options for this work. He said he would be back to me by the following week with an estimate. 3 weeks later, NOTHING. So I call one more time and get a very rude and abrasive man on the phone. I could not remember the name of the person that came over. He kept pressing me shooting off all these possible names and physical descriptions. Finally I said, don't you have record of who came to my apartment? And he said yes he can look it up and will call me back. No call back. Shocker. It is unbelievable to me that I am chasing this company around so I can give them my business. They clearly do not want it and are clearly unreliable and dishonest. If the work was not something they were interested in they should have contacted me and said as much. If they needed more time to get me an estimate they should have contacted me to let me know as much, I have now wasted two months of time time waiting and chasing this ridiculous company around. Now I will find a contractor that actually wants my business and knows how to service a paying customer. If you are in the market for a contractor, stay away from Poler.

He left NO TRACE that he was ever there. He covered the furniture, cleaned the floor when he was done, and was the nicest, most polite person. Fortunately I googled "Ikea Kitchen Installers" and MOA came up. I emailed them and sent them my plans. Natasha got back to me pretty quickly via email with a very reasonable quote. I honestly couldn't get other people to call me back or respond so based on the good reviews I signed the contract and gave a $500 deposit and hoped that I didn't book some low lifers trying to scam me. When Mark + Dean showed up (with two other guys) the first day in their white van, they honestly looked like a band coming off the last leg of their road tour. I embarassingly thought to myself I might've made a mistake hiring this company. BOY WAS I WRONG. Fast forward, they got my kitchen done in about 5 days total. Mind you, this is a large kitchen (10 foot X 5 foot island with 3 walls of cabinets with custom pieces around the refrigerator, sink, beverage fridge, etc. You would think that such a large job completed in 5 days would be a mediocre to okay but Mark and Dean's craftmanship is UNPARALLEL. Every custom piece that they had to hand cut in the garage fit PERFECTLY into place like Ikea/Semihandmade had cut it themselves. Mark and Dean made sure to check in about any important decisions in regards to custom pieces to make sure I was happy. They cleaned up after themselves and stacked the empty ikea boxes in a tetris like way to not take up too much space in my garage. I'm only writing this review because this team did a SUPERB job. I hope I never have to do another house renovation but if I do, I'll definitely use this team again. Don't hesitate. Book them today.
