I would not recommend Elite Home Warranty... I wouldn't give them 1 . Calls go unreturned, hold times are incredibly long and often disconnect, and their "concierge" service is far from top-tier. Service providers lack a direct line to approvals, as they're in the same customer queue, which slows everything down. Even worse, Elite failed to notify my assigned service provider of the scheduled date. That delay was on them, yet they offered no flexibility or accountability. Approvals for simple work take 24-48 hours, which is unacceptable. After 15 months of a 3-year plan I purchased for $1,900, I requested cancellation. Instead of processing it, they told me to wait for someone from a "cancellation department" to call. Based on the contract, I'm owed $1,178.33 (21 months prorated plus the $70 copay I paid). I'm still waiting for the alleged "cancellation" department to return my call after I conveyed to Valerie Diaz (the representative I thought was processing my cancellation) that I have no problem writing, expressing my discontent, or escalating the matters above them if necessary. The provider was due to come out on Monday, September 8, 2025; however, they were not notified by Elite. He came out on Tuesday, and both he and my husband tried to contact them because the issue is that our dryer's heating element needs to be replaced. Both left messages that were not returned. I called yesterday evening, and after realizing the rep was being robotic in her response, "that's our policy", you know what, please cancel my contract. She stated someone would contact me. I called the provider, who also called them this morning (11th), and it went unanswered again. Valerie Diaz contacted me inquiring about the cancellation. I stated why, and then she told me that the "Cancellation department" needs to contact me. REALLY? I said let it be today; otherwise, I'll escalate matters, which, as of this review, they have not contacted me about. Save yourself the time, stress, and money. This company is not delivering the service they advertise. I have filed a complaint with BBB, FDACS, posted reviews on Google and Trust Pilot. My next step is small claims court. read more

This rating would be a "0" if that was available! Elite Home Warranty is a SCAM!! I purchased a 3 year warranty on January 8, 2024. I filed a claim on a range in June, 2025 and paid the $70 copayment prior to sending a sent a technician and they determined it was not worth repairing . They "negotiated" a payment $700.00 that was "Not Replacement Value". After waiting over 45 business days to receive the payment I contacted them and they said the check was sent on or about August 21, 2025. I advised them I didn't receive any checks from them. After several phone calls, I was directed to call the Billing Department on September 11, 2025. I spoke with Viktoriya Synovets and after discussing the issue with her she said she would personally ensure I was paid after their "banking profile was up and running". See below: "Hello Mr. Wells, As per our conversation, we will be reissuing a check to you in the amount of $700 as soon as our banking profile is back up and running. Once the new check is issued, I will email you the new check number, along with the old check number for your reference. As a disabled Veteran I rely on others especially electric and plumbing issues. But Elite was useless as a had a pipe bust and they denied the claim. Then the plumber they did send (Titan plumbing) after I paid over $1000 dollars cut wires and of.course didn't fix them correctly I then had to pay an electrician to fix that issue. I then was told I needed my hot water heater replaced and once again I called them and that claim was also denied and I again paid over $2000 for that even though they would send me $500 but I had to pay my monthly fee and 140 for the 2 call outs. We called because our old A/C unit broke down. it took 48 hours before our claim was processed. After paying the $70 co-pay they said that a contractor would go out the next day. The contractor never called or showed up. I called Elite and they gave me the name and phone number of the contractor. I called the contractor and spoke to the owner. He told me that he had never heard of Elite, does not work for any Home Warranty Companies and that he did not send a tech to our home. I Elite and asked if I could hire my own contractor and they said Yes. My contractor that I always used for maintenance of the Old A/C unit. They came out the next day and determined that the compressor had blown the circuit breaker and that the unit needed to be replaced. Anytime you call them expect to be on hold for a least 30 minutes. I had our contractor order the new unit and they said it would be in the next couple of days. The day before the unit was installed, I received a phone call from a real live person from Elite. I was in disbelief. He was very nice and wanted to help. He asked for the Report and Invoice from my contractor. Later he asked for model and serial numbers of the new and old units. The next day my contractor was there to install my new unit and on time. Then I received a text message that a tech was coming out between 9 am and 2 pm. We gave up waiting after 5 pm and went out to dinner. On my Ring door camera the tech showed up and I informed that 1) your late and didn't call to say you would be late, 2) the new unit has already been installed that day. He said he was from a company that I or my contractor had heard of before. Our claim was denied! So inconclusion, DO NOT use the company. They lie about everything. There definitely isn't anything done differently from other home warranty companies that would make this one look bad. This company put the others to shame time and time again. My washer stopped working in May I filed a claim May 12th 2025, I paid the $70.00 claim filing fee and was told a vendor in my area would call within 24-48 hours, 72 hours with no response RED #1. I called them back and had the request escalated.. A vendor contacted me and an appointment was scheduled for Saturday May 17th, the Vendor contacted me and wanted to reschedule due to the storms we had that knocked out power, no problem I rescheduled for Monday May 19th.. The vendor comes and does his inspection to advise me that the part for my washer that was only 4 years old was no longer available and that he would let Elite Home Warranty know so a decision could be made, the vendor and myself made several attempts to contact the claims department after 3-4 of time calling Elite Home Warranty they informed me what the Vendor had already stated that the part I needed was discontinued and someone from underwriting would call me back... May 26th (which was Memorial Day) I get a phone call stating that my claim was approved and they offered $500.00 for a replacement which I accepted.. I was told that the claim payout would take 45 Business days( no weekends or holidays). (YA'LL DO THE MATH) I let time go by before I started calling the middle of July to confirm there would be no issues and the method of payment. I was told a check would be issued July 31st..Everytime I called they could not offer a check # Red #2. I called August 1st and was told that the check did not get mailed out on July 31st due to weather and the post office but I was guaranteed that the check was being sent out that day and I should have by August 11th, I called August 11th again no check # could be provided Red #3 if the check was issued why can't a check # not be given to me... I was offered the option of ACH on August 11th on that call (which I accepted) and was advised by the agent that they had just started back issuing claim payments by ACH.I provided my banking information 2x that week and I have made 6 phone calls this week requesting a supervisor call me and I still have yet to speak with a supervisor. April 23, 2024 I purchased a warranty from Elite Home warranty for my retirement house I purchased in Brandon, Mississippi (this is not a rural area). It was $850 with the pool equipment and high end appliance plans included. In August, I had a claim for a clogged toilet and paid my copay, they couldn't find any plumbers who would work with them - so I got my $70 copay refund and I fixed it myself. I thought is was a fluke that they couldn't find anyone, maybe everyone was on vacation. Fast forward to April of 2025 the pool heater went out and I called in this claim and paid $150 copay for them to send someone out to fix it. And again they couldn't find anyone in our area that would work with them. They refunded my $150 copay. At this time I figure it out - they have sold me a worthless policy that they have no contractors lined up with to ever come to my house and provide services. I asked for all of my $850 back, as it is fraud to sell services you cannot provide. I have talked to 3 people trying to get my $850 back and the last gal said she is the top of the line - that anyone above her is management and they won't talk to me. She said if I had asked for my money back earlier they could have given me a prorated refund - but since my policy expires May 29th they will give me nothing. I reminded her that this is fraudulent business practices to take people's money and then not have the ability to offer the services that the customer paid for. Absolute worst. When I agreed to work with them last year, I was told that they guarantee to refund me for the remainder of my term if I decide to cancel for any reason. Fast forward to my furnace going out with negative temps this past winter and my three VERY young kids, my wife, and myself, sleeping in one room with a space heater expecting the furnace fixed shortly. First tech shows up, gives one diagnosis, the warranty company sends the WRONG part, and that tech refuses to work with them, so they send another with a different diagnosis requiring replacing the furnace. Suddenly they don't cover the issue that's wrong with the furnace. This is at least 3 weeks by now and we've got more heaters to band-aid the issue.
