We have bought many items here and always a good experience. This time we needed a new TV ASAP. Upon entering we were looking for the last salesperson we bought our refrigerator from but he was off that day, so Steve helped us. We looked at several TVs and choose a 43" LG Flat Panel. Before we purchased the TV they took one from store room in a box, opened it to test the all was ok and we found the TV did not turn on, only distorted pixels. This is their new procedure because sometimes the items are taken home, damaged, usually by being dropped and then returned and state it came out of the box like that. It's also good because in my case I would had to return it, another trip back to the store and set it up again. So of course they brought another out, tested ok. Then paid for it with my PC Richard Credit Card, no interest for 12-24 months. We also purchased an extended 2 year warranty. For pricing I asked for their best and I know they did because we receive special pricing with my union for PC Richard and called to verify the union pricing and what I paid was less than the union pricing. We also received lower pricing on the last item we purchased. It's been almost 3 weeks and TV is working fine. I would highly recommend this PC Richard, a neighborhood friendly store. Will be back to purchase more merchandise.

The manager was…read moreextremely unprofessional, had a rude attitude for no reason, and treated customers waiting for Pokémon products with very little respect. We were forced to stand outside in the heat and direct sunlight even though there was room to organize the line more reasonably inside. When customers tried to ask simple questions, the manager was dismissive instead of communicating professionally. The manager also told everyone there were only 12 Prismatic Premium Collections available. However, employees showed us the inventory on the computer, which listed 16 Prismatic Premium Collections and 6 Unova Poster Collections in stock. Despite that, the line was cut off after the 12th customer, and only 12 Prismatic Premium Collections and 4 Unova Poster Collections were sold to customers. While we were waiting, the manager asked employees if they wanted any of the Pokémon products before they were sold to the customers who had been waiting outside. After customers were told there were only 12 Prismatic boxes available, the remaining case of four boxes was never offered to the line. I don't know where those four boxes ultimately went, but from a customer's perspective, it appeared that an entire sealed case of Prismatic Premium Collections disappeared after employees were offered product first. To make matters worse, employees indicated there was Pokémon stock available, while the manager told customers there was no additional stock. The conflicting information and lack of transparency only added to the frustration. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. After the purchase was completed, I discovered that the manufacturer's warranty covered only parts. I spoke with Sue who denied that that the warranty was for parts and labor. She stated that there was no warranty from Mr Jay. Sue was rude over the phone, and made it near impossible for me to add to the conversation.

Instead of doing the job himself, he encouraged me to call Maytag directly to see if I was under warranty. And sure enough, I was. I am very thankful to this man for saving me $500. In the local area (I'm in western Nassau County), Steven's Appliance Repair is the only one I know that achieves all of these. I've learned over the years that installation services provided by companies that sell appliances a) try to do the fastest job possible (not the best job as they get paid by how many they do not how well they do them) and b) cannot do anything besides just plug in the appliance (if anything extra is needed, they will not or are not allowed to do it). Therefore, I prefer to hire someone to handle my appliance needs. I called about 10 different places - most were unavailable or unwilling to come to where I live. Steven's called me on the phone quickly and met me the same day. They clearly explained what I would need to complete the installation (including instructions for electrical work needed), purchased the necessary parts and within 2 days the job was all done. Coincidentally, my oven igniter stopped working shortly after this experience and I called Steven's and a day later I had a working oven. I will definitely rely on this business for all of my future appliance needs.

He came to take a look at the space and provided his recommendation and promptly sent us the quote after. We had gotten quotes from multiple places and their pricing was fair. He was very responsive and answered all of the questions we had. For any questions he wasn't able to answer immediately he got back to us promptly with the answer. Seth and another guy was responsible for installing the unit on the day of. John came by to make sure the installation was going okay. The guys were quick and efficient with the installation. The job itself was very clean install of the unit and they covered the pipe going down the side of my house so it looks a lot better! They completed the installation all in one day, which was great! They took away the old unit and cleaned up afterwards. We also ended up upgrading our thermostat. John was accommodating and sent Seth back at a later time (after we received the new thermostat) to install the new thermostat. It took a bit to get the heat pump working but ultimately it was all done and John and Seth stayed to make sure both the AC and heat pump was working. So we were very happy with how the project was handled and completed.
