I was in NH ,for a weekend wedding, and was desperate to find someone who would fit me in for a blowout. I called Elite and Jackie came to my rescue by fitting me in a few hours before the wedding. She was terrific and I received many compliments ,on my hair, from other wedding guests. A bonus was the fair price. I tried a number of local salons for my "mature" hair that is hard to manage and I was so happy to finally find Elite. Candice has given me great cuts that keep their shape and help me look professional even on multiple zoom meetings with little fuss. Candice is also honest. When I was considering highlights that would have cost considerably more than my cut, Candice actually talked me out of it, saying my hair didn't need them. She was right and she easily could have gotten a lot more $$ from me. I also like that you can make an appointment right there at Lash on Wax Off by Tasha for an awesome brow wax or lashes. Candice also has some nice gifts there, like amazing candles, floral arrangements and other unique, local items plus some really nice hair products. Totally recommend! read more

Hair stylist screwed my hair up twice, that I paid for. One of the owners, with blonde hair, gave me a free treatment before correcting my color/foils, that I was going to pay for. She cancelled my appointment, said she overbooked yourself and never rescheduled. She sent hostile and harassing text messages because I Chose to go somewhere else...? She said she doesn't need customers like me, never to call the salon again, and told me she "knows people"...sounds like a threat to me. I was stunned and appalled by her unprofessionalism and harassment... She actually went in my file to look up my number, so wrong! read more

Obsessed with this place! So excited to find out the Kathleen and Candice opened up their own salon. I get so nervous choosing a color artist when dying my hair because pulling blonde for me usually turns brassy, not with Kathleen! She is amazing, did the most beautiful balayange ombre, and it came out perfect. Exceptionally blended, I love it! She was also able to match my roots perfectly without even pulling out swatches. She took so much time on my hair and styled it with big beachy curls that came out amazing. I won't be going anywhere else. read more

I am writing this review after me and my husband coming to this hair salon many times and being vey disappointed with the quality of service and dishonesty of the couple of women (can't mention their names because yelp won't let me) who have just done a terrible job in our requests and the way they have handled themselves. We were not very happy the first time with the service with my husband's hair cut and color but thought that maybe the second time, and me trying them out for a hair cut and color would have been a better experience. The first woman he saw couldn't get his hair color right, even though he explained to her what he wanted. He asked for a dark ash brown and she went completely to dark brown. Then he asked her to leave some gray on the side and she did not do it either. He asked for a specific haircut and she did completely what she wanted, ignoring his request. I am not sure she is capable of following through a client's request or is way too distracted. I had a haircut done by the same person, and quite honestly my hair looked exactly the same; there was no form, nothing interesting. We had switched to the other hairstylist, and she did somewhat better with my husband, but unfortunately calls in sick quite a bit. Thinking that it would be better with her, I had a haircut and color a couple of months ago. She quoted me $120 over the phone, then she charges me $190 at the end of the appointment, without telling me before we started, what the cost was going to be and why the change. I let this go because I was not going to go back to someone who was plainly dishonest with me. Today I had it with this place. My husband went in today with the previous hairstylist because his current one called in sick, and while she is putting color in his hair, tells him the price has doubled because they had called other hair salons and their prices were not where they should be. Are you kidding me? What brain do you have? How awful and dishonest can you be? You tell the client upfront and you are honest about what your services will cost. Needless to say, for the way these two women have behaved, their dishonesty and quality of service, lacking experience in mixing colors and haircut, we rather pay the higher price somewhere else, where they know what they are doing. read more
