I wish my stepson would have read these reviews before dropping over $12k on a truck that didn't last a day! The owner said that his son drove the truck in from Indiana the day before and he had no room to budge on price because it was such a nice vehicle, and he could "sell it tomorrow for the full price." I was able to use the fact that my stepson was a first-time vehicle buyer and was only 19 years old with limited funds to get $500 taken off the price. If he had given us the truck for free, it still would have been a rip off! The first time he drove the truck after taking it him, it started losing brake pressure. When my stepson took the truck to be repaired, it was determined that the frame was rusted through and the vehicle was not salvageable. The vehicle had to be scrapped, so my stepson was not only out $12k, he had to spend even more money to buy another used truck. At best, the dealership was negligent and bought/sold this vehicle without properly inspecting it. At worst - it was an intentional scam. Either way - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH "DECENT RIDE." They will give you a ride, but it will be far from decent!

After doing my research on EAG I felt confident that the car is being sold from a very reputable car company. So I decided to contact EAG for additional information on the car. I sent an email and hoped to negotiate on the pricing. The car was about 10% higher than what I wanted to pay (compared to other similar listings on the internet). EAG was firm on their price and fully explained why. They are not just flipping cars. All of their cars are get a comprehensive inspection and get a full overhaul to bring the car back to new as possible. My car received about $8-$10k ***retail value*** worth of services and parts (Valve adjustment, oil pan gasket, belts, etc). All paperwork was done through email and FedEx. I was warned that the "rejuvenation" process can take several weeks before I can take delivery of the car. During this process, I received regular updates with pictures. When the car was ready. I booked my plane ticket (San Francisco to Cincinnati). The owner of the company pick me and my friend from the airport. We were treated to breakfast and a tour of EAG. We got an up close and personal tour of museum quality super rare cars (M1, Z1, M3 Lightweight, etc) After the tour, I finally pick up the keys to my dream car! The car was better than I imagined. The doors shut tight. No rattles. Everything felt solid. Everything functioned as it should (wipers, heated seats, AC, sunroof). I cannot believe that this was an 18 year old car. I chose not to ship the car back to California because I wanted to drive cross country to fully experience and bond with my *new* car. About 20 mins into our journey home, the tire monitoring warning and DSC lights came on. I immediately called EAG, and they told me to come back to the shop so they can look at the issue. They found a faulty sensor on one of the wheels and replaced it at no cost. We drove the car for over 2,400 miles, 36 hours behind the wheel, across 11 states, 4 time zones. The car was absolutely perfect and performed as designed. Once again, I cannot believe that this is an 18 year old car. EAG did a fantastic job and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Bottom line: You get what you pay for!
