I found my dream car and it's located 2,400 hundred miles from where I live. The car is 18 years old. This could be a very risky purchase - there is no warranty for a 18 year old car! After doing my research on EAG I felt confident that the car is being sold from a very reputable car company. So I decided to contact EAG for additional information on the car. I sent an email and hoped to negotiate on the pricing. The car was about 10% higher than what I wanted to pay (compared to other similar listings on the internet). EAG was firm on their price and fully explained why. They are not just flipping cars. All of their cars are get a comprehensive inspection and get a full overhaul to bring the car back to new as possible. My car received about $8-$10k ***retail value*** worth of services and parts (Valve adjustment, oil pan gasket, belts, etc). All paperwork was done through email and FedEx. I was warned that the "rejuvenation" process can take several weeks before I can take delivery of the car. During this process, I received regular updates with pictures. When the car was ready. I booked my plane ticket (San Francisco to Cincinnati). The owner of the company pick me and my friend from the airport. We were treated to breakfast and a tour of EAG. We got an up close and personal tour of museum quality super rare cars (M1, Z1, M3 Lightweight, etc) After the tour, I finally pick up the keys to my dream car! The car was better than I imagined. The doors shut tight. No rattles. Everything felt solid. Everything functioned as it should (wipers, heated seats, AC, sunroof). I cannot believe that this was an 18 year old car. I chose not to ship the car back to California because I wanted to drive cross country to fully experience and bond with my *new* car. About 20 mins into our journey home, the tire monitoring warning and DSC lights came on. I immediately called EAG, and they told me to come back to the shop so they can look at the issue. They found a faulty sensor on one of the wheels and replaced it at no cost. We drove the car for over 2,400 miles, 36 hours behind the wheel, across 11 states, 4 time zones. The car was absolutely perfect and performed as designed. Once again, I cannot believe that this is an 18 year old car. EAG did a fantastic job and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I have been bringing my BMW here for service for about a year now and I have been VERY pleased with the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff, as well as the quality of the services provided. The car, not to put too fine a point on it, is kind of a jerk. Consequently I find myself bringing it in for little tweaks here and there more often than I would like; this being the case, choosing a regular tech was a more high-stakes decision than it would be for cars that are less... demanding. The guys in the service department have been more than accommodating in fitting me onto the schedule, taking a free look at things that other shops would probably charge for, prioritizing required services in terms of severity (and not just encouraging me to get the more expensive work done), etc. Jared in particular has been very pleasant and always takes the time to bring me into the garage and show me things on the car, rather than just explaining them. Which I like, not because I don't trust him, but because 1) I'm not the type to pass up the opportunity for a little free knowledge, and 2) it's nice to talk to somebody who is so obviously into what they do. Bottom line- if you own a BMW in the Cincinnati area, I highly recommend bringing it here for service. I've been super happy with them. read more

After calling several dealerships that install Dinan products I finally spoke to someone who genuinely wanted to help me (Mike) he literally spoke to me for 30 minutes explaining everything I needed to know to better understand what I was purchasing. OMG these guys are amazing!! I traded a car for a M3 LTW. The car has about 75K miles and literally looks and drives like new. The whole experience from finding the car, cutting the deal, watching the car go through its various quality checks has been amazing. They fixed various items along the way after we made the deal before they delivered the car at their cost. Absolutely first class. I sold my 3-series and concurrently purchased a 1999 M Roadster from EAG back in 2013 and was unhappy with the overall process and quality. EAG advertises that they conduct a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) on all their vehicles, which I am not disagreeing with, but when I picked up my car in Cincinnati, both windows were not properly operating (stuck) and the rear plastic window had a tear, which allowed rain water to seep in. Also, a few weeks later, my front shocks were completely blown (leaking) and I had to get those repaired. The reason why I bought this car (unseen) was because of their advertised specialization with BMWs and perceived attention to detail and high quality of service. Because of this, I was willing to pay a premium over a used private party vehicle. But, I was wrong and ended up loosing a significant amount of money in the process. Someone once told me to never buy a car unseen or test driven, and I think that is 110% true. Bottom-line? Save yourself the steep premium that they charge and go buy a well-maintained comparable private party vehicle and do the preventive and deferred maintenance yourself. read more

I don't really know where to begin with my review of EAG. I can start by saying, "This group of folks are really a breath of fresh air in the automotive world." A couple of weeks ago, I decided to treat myself to a "hard to find" BMW M2. I responded to a listing that EAG had on AutoTrader, and became quick friends with Eric, though he might say I became a quick pain in the neck instead. That's no exaggeration either as I think I asked him (and his team) no less than 2.6 million questions, all of which were answered quickly, professionally, and with the utmost patience. I live in CA. EAG is located in OH, and I have never before bought a vehicle from out of state, sight unseen, hence all of my questions to them. Eric and the gang made the purchase and delivery process as smooth as silk. The car I bought showed up here just 3 days later, exactly as promised, in exactly the manner and condition I was promised, and I couldn't be more pleased with what was delivered to me or with EAG. My only regret in the entire deal is that I will likely never get to meet my new friends or go into their facility for a visit and/or service. If you're thinking about buying a vehicle from EAG, do not hesitate, they're consummate professionals who are committed to their process and their craft and will take the very best care of you. Without a doubt one of the best used car buying experiences I have ever had. This is a no B.S. dealer. Not only that the customer service is second to none. Their entire staff is helpful and efficient. Any questions that I have are answered by email usually within minutes. Buying a car sight unseen is nerve racking. But they send you dozens of photos detailing every single piece of the car, anything to note or to question. Or not to question or that matter. No other dealer anywhere will do that. I bought a used car from a dealer elsewhere and all I got were a couple terrible cellphone pictures. Any pictures you get from them are high quality and high resolution perfectly lit (speaking as a professional photographer, their documentation process is extremely thorough and precise). As of today I have now bought two cars from them. Returned one to be completely gone through and customized for performance. I just received it back and looked even better than when I first got it from them a year ago. Any negative issue (and there haven't been many) I have had in the last two years of buying from them has/have been immediately addressed and rectified. I have referred family to them who have had one car customized and bough an X5 from them as well. They have had an identical experience. Any question about the retail price of their inventory pretty much comes down to this. They constantly scout for the best bmw, buy it, and when necessary completely bring it back to spec. this takes time and money. And with the reputation they maintain you know EXACTLY what you are getting, when and where. This comes at a price. Go find and buy a car in the same manner, if you are lucky to find it, and you will be putting as much or more into the car. I already have my eye on two more cars on their lot. Happy driving people!
