I reached out to Michael and he was very responsive, he visited the site and quickly shared the updated plans for resubmission to the city. He also closely worked with me and GC to answer further queries from the inspector. Overall, I had great experience with Michael. He is professional, shared his quote upfront and honored it, was very collaborative, responsive and has attention to detail. We changed an old tub for a wonderful upgrade, expanded the shower area, with high-end glass, added excellent tile work throughout (he has a great tile guy), changed counter-tops, and even moved a wall of 50 year old cedar panels to extend an existing wall. Were there hiccups along the way, sure. But now, several years later we are thrilled to use these rooms every day. We work at home and the lifestyle enhancement has been profound. Truth be told we did a good deal of research before and chose well with our components and visual choices. The paint work was superb (he has a great paint team too). The team had an amusing cast of characters and I enjoyed them. They took tremendous care to keep the spaces (bedroom next to the bath) absolutely clean and protected. It took a while with delays and fixes but now all I can say is we really appreciate all the effort that went in and Milt's good spirit to get it right. The remodel replaced the floor with vinyl tile, replaced the tub surround tiles with vinyl sheets and replaced the vanity, counter mirror, tub, lights and all fixtures. The finished bathroom looks great with no issues. The fixtures, vanity and surfaces chosen by the Lux design crew look great. The installer did a great job, was very courteous and did the job with minimal disruption.

We embarked on an extensive remodel with North West Home Pros (NWHP) a year ago. In order to…read moreachieve the kitchen of our dreams (along with all of the additional changes we added on to the project!) we basically had to gut parts of two floors of our house, three if you include the attic! We took this in stages because we still needed to reside in the house during construction. NWHPs worked smoothly with everyone involved (designer, engineer, building inspector etc), and introduced us to some incredible sub-contractors, plumbing and electrical being high on the list (full disclosure ~ I built spec-houses in the 90's). Patrick's eye to detail is unsurpassed. He can see an awry 1/64th of an inch from across a room. His advice is solid and sound. We ended up replacing, rather than trying to salvage, parts of the kitchen oak floor (not part of our contract with NWHP, but with our own flooring guy) at Patrick's urging. He was right! This was not a project to patch the floor. Patrick, obviously, is extremely busy and gave us the time we needed on our site, and the phone to make us feel confident both with our choices and how the job was proceeding. He is also very personable, fun and easy to get along with. NWHP's main finish carpenter and cabinet whisperer, Alex, is a pleasure to work with. I don't know if there's anything he can't do. When the (island) cabinet's arrived, without absolutely correct sized finish pieces (after supply chain delays and a custom color...), Alex made it work! He made sure our interior vacuum returns were rerouted (something I stressed about) before walls were closed up, did amazing custom cabinet work in order for our (reused) cooktop and (new) oven to cohabitate, coached me on how I could help forward the project using materials we had on sight, and is also kind, respectful, and a delightful human.
