We have seen an AMAZING transformation in our dog Jake since we started training with Chris! Before we called Elite K-9, Jake tried to bite anyone who came in our house and reacted aggressively to every dog, person and car we encountered on our walks. He would start growling and barking if we stopped to talk to anyone. Chris taught us how to take control and give Jake the guidance he needs. Chris came to our house for personalized training, and invited us to group class when Jake was ready. The group classes provide a safe space for exposing dogs to distractions and practicing training skills without judgement. Brooks and Abby were very helpful as well! Now Jake stays calm when friends and family come over to our house, and our walks have become much more enjoyable! No more pulling or reacting to everything around us; we can stop to talk to our neighbors without any issues. Jake is much more relaxed now and looks to us for instructions instead of trying to control every situation. We highly recommend Elite K-9 for training any dog; we couldn't have done it without them!

Elite K-9 and Chris have been AMAZING to work with! Our Rottweiler, Meatball, was a COVID puppy that had ZERO socialization which is super important for a rottie. He even jumped the fence & our neighbor called animal control. He wouldn't even let Chris in the house the first time we met, but now he's one of his favorite people! Chris has always been clear and concise with training. He is also very responsive in between training sessions for questions or concerns. Meatball is doing so much better and I know with Chris' great instruction and training techniques he's going to be the best dog he can be. I am so grateful we found Chris and Elite K-9 to help us train our Meatball so he can be a happy puppy and we can enjoy time together. If you're looking to train your dog - this is the place to be!

We have gone to chris at elite k9 for the last year. Our biggest concerns were recall, healing and staying in the invisible fence. Woo hoo! We have accomplished all of these items and are proud to take our dogs out and about. More importantly they stay in the yard! Thank you chris and team for helping us with our dogs Thank you Angelo, hyla, Rhone and Bordeaux

So this review is solely based on my experience prior to trying to get my dog trained here. When…read moreyou call no one's available to talk to you, which isn't an issue. They texted me when they were available. They booked a consultation with me not one time did any person mention a consultation fee. Which is not an issue some places charge a consultation fee some do not. The issue lies where they texted me at 6 o'clock in the morning the day of my consultation request requesting a payment from me and waking me up. I asked them if we could speak later than after I got another request for a payment. So I asked why are you sending me a payment link he says if you want to keep the consultation you have to pay for it I was like why would you not tell me that when I called to book the appointment to speak to you or when you were texting me. He laughed at me then tells me that it's posted all over their website. I wasn't referred via their website. So I let him know it doesn't matter you did not at any point in time mentioning a consultation fee then you think it's appropriate to wake me up at six something in the morning to ask me for a payment the day of the consultation. It was very unprofessional very rude and then when I told him that it was unprofessional that I would like to cancel the appointment they then laugh at me. And tell me that I'm being hostile. It's not being hostile not wanting to be woken up at 6 o'clock in the morning. It's not hostile saying that if there is a consultation fee, the client should be made aware of the fee prior to booking the consultation not 6 o'clock in the morning of. It makes you feel like the only thing these people care about is the money that they're not really trying to give anyone a good experience that they're not trying to make sure that when people come to this company, they experience a professional situation. I wouldn't book with somebody who treats their clients like this. Also for future reference when you guys read the review. You should mention to somebody when you're on the phone with them or even when you're texting them that there's a consultation fee when you're scheduling and how much it's for. Not just send them a payment link request requesting a random payment.

His fear made people fearful of him. We checked him in for a 3 week train/board with Moc 9 and he is a different dog. Adam and Uriah worked some kind of magic and it is noticeable to our family and friends. The best part is Cooper can go places with us and one click of my tongue and he comfortably walks beside me ignoring other dogs(no growls) and the bunnies(no jerk of the leash)! Thanks Guys!

Quinn worked on potty training, staying on command, crate training, leash walking, and socialization with both dogs and cats. The progress Koda made in such a short time was incredible. Throughout the training, Quinn kept us updated with texts, emails, and videos showing Koda's progress, along with clear, easy-to-follow instructions to help us continue reinforcing the training at home. What truly sets Quinn apart is her passion and genuine love for dogs. She treats every dog as if they were her own, and it shows in the care, patience, and dedication she puts into her work. After going through the process of interviewing our offerings in Castle Rock, we chose Tails Up. Now it books up fast so you really should plan ahead. Although calling them and begging them also works ;) They have a very good online scheduling site where you can book all of their visits. Enzo loves it there and I can vouch for him since I can go online and watch him through all of their cameras. This play does NOT have all day play, which I prefer since my dog would be exhausted if they did that. When I board him there for longer than a few days, I always sign him up for some extra play sessions or tennis ball day where they put out a ton of tennis balls and dogs can live their best life playing fetch, etc. I can't recommend them enough!

He has strict feeding instructions which includes nothing other than the food that we've provided him because he has had pancreatitis. He was there for 3 nights and we picked him up this morning and he is incredibly sick and has awful diarrhea. When we picked him up both him and his blankets in his room were covered in pee from not being checked in on or taken out consistently. He has medication that helps him with his anxiety that he was not given. It's hard to believe that after being given detailed feeding instructions and information about his medication that a facility could be this incompetent. We have to take him to the vet in morning to make sure his stomach and pancreas are okay. I would not recommend this place if it were the last boarding facility in Colorado. I cannot fathom why there are so many good reviews when we've had nothing but awful experiences here.

Everything from Pomeranians to Labrador and Golden Retrievers and every breed, temperament and personality in between. It's easy to find trainers but it can be really hard to find a GOOD trainer! Over the years, we've spent thousands on dog behavior veterinarians, breed specific trainers, and your basic pet store group classes. All of these can work for some dogs, but not all. We lost our two black Labrador brothers this past summer to age related health problems. We were completely devestated. We didn't know if we could do it again until Jack decided for us. Jack is a male Bichon mix rescue, but who rescued who? Jack rescued us - literally ! When we got Jack home we wanted to start out on the right foot immediately. We used two online trainings - waste of money and time. We asked, searched and found several self-proclaimed and "guaranteed results" trainers. You had a time limited training. From past training experiences, if your dog didn't learn everything in that timeframe you were left feeling frustrated and confused as to what to do next. Then we found Adrienne at Bark Busters. They aren't inexpensive, but when we found out they would be partners for the life of our dog, we were hooked. In over 40 years of our dogs and training, Adrienne is the ONLY trainer who actually knows what she's doing. Jack began training as a timid puppy who then developed into a defiant teenager with an attitude. Adrienne has given us the tools and behavioral changes we needed to make to consistently provide Jack with age appropriate expectations. We now understand how to think like a dog and speak "dog". Jack is becoming calm and confident that we are the leaders and he can enjoy being a puppy. Thank you Adrienne!
