Be warned! Scammers 110% Caught red handed several times for one friggin job, which they had to redo because of their installation, so instead they called Monroe and said they gave them bad parts and got new ones. That's Monroe's loss because the reason the struts were no good was because they left the giant stickers across the top of them and they couldn't seat to the car. I drove my sister an hour on the freeway twice with the car like this, steering all unsteady. They even tried to fake it like they fixed the struts and called me begging to get the car which I couldn't, only to call the next morning and found out it wasn't pulled in until then. So he was trying (desperately) to get me to pick up the car, (I'm sure with they had cut the stickers out, because it had never entered the shop yet. They put the struts in the next day when they arrived. Had I picked up my car Mike would have made up a story about me picking up my car I am sure and kept the brand new struts from Monroe, hoping I wouldn't notice in the few days left I had in my warranty that the car was still unstable. There was also a very serious problem with the rear axle which I know they had their hands on to put shocks on but they didn't mention it to me because they Cherry picked their work. This is how I first met Mike at the telegraph location. I have worked on cars at home, I'm aware of how much shops charge, and asked him for a quote. It was so long ago I don't remember specifically it might been a hub, but I recognize an "I don't want to do it" price when I see it. Later it turned out it cost half of what he had quoted me being the point. So I already knew the telegraph location was sketchy then they moved the sketchy guy to the Ecorse location so that makes me think that they're all sketchy and I'm done with them and I think anyone should be warned the same. read more

Not only did they hang up on me several times but the service here is trash. I called ahead tried to present myself and say hello and all I got was a "I can't even here you" followed with a click and a dial tone. This is the most unprofessional shop, looks pretty shady, and finally pathological liars. I came in for a simple service for my car and to make sure everything is alright. But it turned into a nightmare. I can hear the employees not wanting to work and even telling customers false information, I'm no mechanic but I do a lot of work with service shops and I am a car enthusiast myself. To tell a customer they need to change their fuel pump to be able to get more life out of the oil as well as fixing a thermostat doesn't seem pretty fair. Also telling customers that oil changes may take up to 3 hours to get done? Ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF! Someone needs to come in this place of business and make some big changes. read more

They helped me understand an issue that I have had 2 other shops look at and only Elite told me that my lower ball joints were failing which is a horrible safety issue. This shop is amazing and they give you a rating of the next recommended repairs. Pros: Good vibe, very busy, good ve detailed estimates, and the owner is very hands on with the business. Cons: very busy, took a Town and Country in for freeze plug replacement, which they did, but broke the starter contact and replaced without informing me in advance. No problem there. Call first ... save a lot time. To be honestly I love this shop - the owner is very honest with the prices and if you get a quote for another business; then 80% of time he can beat the price. Make sure you have the quote with you as well - he doesn't like of course when he get lairs trying to get over on the price. I've been going there since 2007 and I've haven't went anywhere else since then when it come to my vehicles. He'll give you a list of things wrong and you can go at your own pace depending how serious your vehicle need TLC. **The business has also expanded to another location as well off of Escorse road. After a little while a guy walked in and greeted me and told me to wait a second.... Which turned to minutes. I eventually just got up and left. I've been going to see Butch at Elite Kar Care on Telegraph for more than a decade. I've taken multiple cars to him & always been 100% satisfied. The parking lot is really small & they're usually very busy, so getting in & out can be tricky sometimes, but it's worth it. They drive me home, & come pick me up when it's done. They've always worked with me & my limited budget. They let me know exactly what needs to be done immediately, & what can wait. I've gotten quotes from other places sometimes, & Butch is always better (don't even need to show the quote for a "Can you beat this" deal, he's already got it beat). Sometimes he's so backed up that he needs to send me to their new location on Ecorse. Obviously they're doing something right if every Bay is always full. They have earned my loyalty, & I will continue to bring my cars to them for years to come. read more

Took two vehicles to be repaired pair $400 dollars for a wire that burned out after i left the shop the second vehicle got a transmission replacement trans slips and the truck drives real hard and is loud when you drive 2700 hundred fir a transmission and i can barely drive im disappointed read more

Awful experience with Elite Kar Care. We paid $449.76 on February 14, 2018 for services that was never provided towards repairing the issue. The car was taking back to the shop on April 9, 2018 for the same problem. On April 29, 2018 our car broke down again for the same problem. They lied about fixing the car the second time. They are not trying to help with correcting the problem. DO NOT use Elite Kar Care they are not professionals and do not do the work as promised. read more

Took my car in for 1 broken tie rod, was called and told all 4 are bent or bad, I asked how much he said over 450. dollars with a front end alignment. he called me back and said my brakes were shot, i just had them done 3 months earlier and had receipts, don't touch them it's under warranty, just fix the tie rods. this made me mad because I restore vehicles and know tie rods are in the 25 to 30 dollars range. but my insurance made me take it to the closest shop, but he started yelling about the brakes and calling me a liar. I went to pick up my car the next day and someone who worked there took my money and said they couldn't do a complete front end alignment, because my pitman arm was worn. never once mentioned that, but charged me the full price for the alignment. Since then 1 year old new tires from Belle tire were destroyed, down to the wire belts, and 2 new Good Years bought in February 2017 are now destroyed. the owner refused to wait on me, when I went there with the reciepts for the brakes to prove I wasn't a liar, and he refused to explain his bitchy attitude because I wasn't stupid enough to believe his lies and superior attitude he thought he had over me never again, if I could of had it towed home I could have fixed it myself for less than 50 dollars, and wouldn't have lost 2,, 1 year old tires and lose 2 more new Good Years in 4 months.
