While he was always very prompt at responding to us with any questions/concerns, at one point I felt that I needed to have some sort of paper trail and would only communicate with him via text/email as many things that were discussed had been forgotten or confused. The job also took 4 months longer than it was supposed to (contract said estimated completion in April 2018, job wasn't completed until August 2018). However, the basement looks beautiful and I am happy with the final product. One of his main guys Brian, and Larry's partner Kim, were very easy to work with, while we sometimes had push-back from Larry on ideas of ours. Upon final inspection, he pointed out flaws in the work done by some of his "inexperienced" workers (his words) and basically threw his own guys under the bus. I appreciate the honesty but that came off as a bit unprofessional. I believe that doing decks/porches are more their forte, as they have lots of amazing reviews for that kind of work. It's a big investment and we were looking for the right company to do the job. We met Shiela who gave us pricing after seeing our pool. We picked out a liner, signed a contract around June 17th and were told our pool would be measured shortly after for a liner and the work would be done the week of July 18th. We also left a deposit, which was half of the total cost. We were notified that someone had come to measure the pool but couldn't because there was water collecting from the rain and we needed to pump it out. We weren't advised of this ahead of time but pumped it out and were told it would be measured on another day. The day came and went with a No show. We were pretty lenient and allowed for the measurement at anytime. We reached out because we hadn't heard anything and were given an excuse. We were given another date and yet again, a No show. This went on for quite some time and we kept pumping out water but it also kept recollecting because no one would show up. We also had to constantly reach out as no one reached out to us. Finally, a week before the scheduled repair date, the measurements were done, despite the water that collected. So this could have been done from the beginning as the condition of the pool is worsening because of the delays. We hear nothing until the week of our repairs. Shiela decides to advise us that we also need a new floor that will cost an additional 3k, which was probably worsened by water sitting there waiting for this work to be done. Once finding this out, the week of repairs, where a contract was signed, we asked for pricing for the floor along with making the pool less deep. We requested this pricing because it was something we were planning to do in the future but didn't think it would make sense to redo the liner and floor again shortly down the road. We might as well tackle it all now. Shiela was totally not interested and could care less. Told us to have our money back and was completely fine with us finding someone else to do the pool, just didn't care or couldn't be bothered with us. She wasted our time and breached a contract. Who knows how long we'll have to wait and what the condition of our pool will be. I'm absolutely disappointed with this company and wouldn't recommend them at all. I regret wasting my time. If you'd conducted your business properly from the beginning then we would not have wasted a month for no reason,
