We shopped at 3 different hot tub showrooms and Royal Pools and Spas was the only one to offer a "wet test." (Thank you, Leslie!) I really wanted to see if we could clearly feel the effect of these cool interchangeable "jet packs." The answer is YES! You must experience the Four Oscillator 201 jet pack. It really gives you a kneading back massage, as long as you want, where you want it. The waterfall, beyond being merely cool, really gets hot water to muscles on the upper neck and back of the head. When you turn off the waterfall feature, it has 4 firm jets which really get into your back. The Neck Blaster jet pack does the job well. You will want 1 lounge chair, but you don't need 2. The lounge chair gets jets on your legs, feet and back, at the same time. Besides being relaxing, warming and de-stressing, it provides real hydrotherapy for sore muscles after vigorous exercise, yoga, muscles damaged from surgery, aches and pains from previous car accident or other trauma, arthritis, etc. The design and engineering of the bullfrog hot tub are praise-worthy. I appreciate all the thoughtful details: the external and internal lights, lighted cup rests, arm rests, wrist jets, hip jets, foot jets, control valves on each jet pack, easy to understand control panel. Hey Bullfrog designers and engineers: Could you possibly relocate the bottom drain from the bottom of the sidewall to the flat bottom of the tub for better draining, so we don't need to use buckets, a shop vac or spa pump to drain the water? Royal Pools provides a starter spa chemical kit, steps to get in and out, a cover and lifter arm. Make sure to ask for the handrail, too. You will need and use it. BONUS: As an experienced CPA tax specialist in Staatsburg, NY, I can say that this spa is definitely TAX DEDUCTIBLE, by individuals and businesses, according to the Internal Revenue code. This place is the worst for customer service, rude people starting with Debi and going to a worst guy called JP. Bought a $8.000 spa from them and tried to get the weekly maintenance done only to be left hanging by this horrible and unprofessional company. Service was schedule for a date and nobody showed up. When called to ask why, was told that they needed a credit card on file. Problem solved and they couldn't come to clean right away, well after the original appointment. I asked why a different day since I was counting on them coming on Monday. The very professional answer from the unprepared, uneducated person was "You can count all you want, we never confirmed anything with you". I told him to F off and hung up. Stay away from them. The people who work in this store are not only lazy, they are rude and cold AF. We have gone there at least 3x. We are easy to upsell to! My boyfriend went in for hot tub chlorine and he didnt have his glasses. He was the only customer in the store. The woman behind the counter kept pointing to where the product was, but he couldn't see it. Rather than come out from behind the counter and grab the product for him and ring him up and make it an easy sale and transaction, she was snotty and short with him- he ended up just leaving, on the way out the door she tried to say I told you it's right over there!! He told her well he couldn't see it and she should've grabbed it if it was just right over there now he's gonna go to another place that's probably just right over there!! Another time I was in there and I asked them if they've ever gone in the pool that they have in the store? I tried joking around lightly about after hours fun, but the same lady was icy, " no one has ever gone in that pool" if you're excited to get some hot tub supplies and you're feeling good about your life and what's going on in it, avoid this place they lower your vibes. Addendum: These jerkoffs charged my card $100 two weeks in advance of a visit that they canceled half an hour before it was supposed to happen yesterday. Some ass named Gary talked over me on the phone when I said I wanted the charge reversed now and said, "We'll be happy to get rid of everything involving you." He also asked me if I pay for Amazon goods when I buy them or when they're delivered? What? Are you kidding me? This guy doesn't even understand the difference between goods and services. Also, the company appears to have its Facebook page rigged only to accept positive reviews because I was unable to post my review there. If you have a strong tolerance for irritation, abuse, and being charged for services that weren't delivered, go with this company. They don't answer the phone, don't have the answers to any questions when you can finally reach someone, and have possibly the worst customer service on the planet. I had an appointment for a pool estimator to come to my house between 11 am and 3 pm that I made nearly a month ago, and they canceled the appointment because they called at 10:30 am the same the day and I didn't pick up the phone. I didn't even know that they had called. Who calls half an hour before the service person is supposed to arrive to confirm and then cancels because they can't reach the person? What dopes. This is the sort of company I had hoped would disappear as more people move to the Hudson Valley from New York City and demand better service. Well to say their customer services lacks doesn't quite convey the mess they put me through. Dropped by their Poughkeepsie location on a Sunday in January. I spoke to a young woman named Leslie. I explained what I was interested in getting their biggest oval aboveground pool. She gave me a price that was much higher than anticipated but OK it's a sellers market. She told me a gentleman by the name of Joe would come out to my property this week. We'll three weeks later Joe comes out. I was kind of upset but again SELLERS MARKET! At our meeting I came to the decision that maybe I can have a rectangular pool, which was something Leslie and I never spoke about. He would give me pricing the next week, so we are now in February and I'm like ok. SOOOOOO he calls me 4 weeks later and says they still don't have pricing! I'm beside myself and get a little upset and I tell him I'm looking to spent $60,000 for an above ground pool and what is going on? He tells me I shouldn't be upset and not to get mad at him because I changed the pool size. I'm shocked that what I believe is their inadequate scheduling is now my fault. The initial meeting was just a little info finding, if I realized one week would always be three I would have been better prepared. I calm down......that was 6 weeks ago we are now in April, I call his place again and the gentleman answering the phone says Joe and Leslie are at a home show. He calls today and says they can't do the pool. 13 weeks after walking into that store I have giving up doing any business with them. a highly qualified buyer! Our pool was installed by a team that worked well, professionally and timely. The Poughkeepsie office, however, has unacceptable communication. Rather, no communication. They contacted us twice during the long 6 month process. Once for down payment and then again for final payment. Once down payment of HALF was received, our numerous calls were not returned and we had to go to the store to be answered. We were told Leslie would email updated contracts to us, and did not. We received no contract changes and additional cost in writing until we went to make final payment. When Joe called us for final payment, we inquired as to where our stairs were. Joe simply replied, 'Oh, I guess we're out.' As there were no written updates, there were also no stairs. When we resolved ourselves to pay,, finish our dealings with this company,, Leslie asked if we jumped in? Um, we could not use the pool as there's no stars. Leslie replied, 'oh. We were then told Leslie would call us with ordering details for them. It is 4 weeks later, she still has not. Would I recommend Radiant Pool products? Yes, but thru another provider. Sometimes you think to use the best and pay more will be worth it,Boy was I wrong ! I needed a liner for my above ground pool in 2018 and decide to use he "best" in the area.they came to replace the liner and set it with about 6" of water from my garden hose then left.i said don't you think you should stay for the water delivery. He assured me it should be fine. the Water truck came and emptied his truck and I immediately seen wrinkles everywhere, approx 20,so I called and was told they might work their way out throughout the summer ,BS ! At the end of summer I called and they came and tried. He got out a few. But there were many left .The guy said "I did the best I could" After paying a crazy amount of money I just felt ripped off. I have been buying my chemicals and my water tested by Royal but I had another pool cleaning and service company. For a variety of reasons my pool service company was not doing the quality of work I expected. I called Royal, EJ came out the very next day and did some of the things that I had been trying to get from my prior service for the last six weeks. EJ also said he would make repairs to my pool which are nice to have and I had asked for from my prior service company. I know its only one service call but its off to a great start! read more
