I'd never had…read morebotox before but was interested as I was saying goodbye to my 20's, and wanted to slow the deep wrinkles I saw forming between my eyebrows and on my forehead. My father has the exact same wrinkles, and I knew they would get deep quickly. How a woman regards the changes in her body as she ages is a very personal process. Some of us do everything they can to fight it, others age with pride. Personally, I just wanted to be able to continue going out without makeup on and still feel confident in my own naked skin. I do not operate under the impression that I can (or should) do everything in my power to hold onto my youth... But I do want to retain that confidence that comes with feeling fresh faced. So my journey into the world of Medspa's was with the hope that I can do some minor preventative care. So on my first visit I had a consult with Cindi. She asked what and where my concerns were. She then explained what my options were and thoroughly detailed how all of the different products work. I chose a product, she talked me through the entire process, and I went home bee stung but excited. A few days later, the results kicked in and any misgivings or prejudice I once had about injectibles disappeared right along with my forehead lines. I turned 34 this past weekend and, with Cindi's help, those forehead and between the brow wrinkles are yet to make any additional progress as wrinkles. My greatest weapon has largely been Dysport. Every 6-8 months I make an appointment to see Cindi, Dysport up, and confidently go back out into the world. Over the past 4 years I've also partaken in a few lovely Hydrafacials and a Dermaplaning appointment with Jacqueline. Cindi and I have experimented with lip fillers and a botox lip flip. My metabolism is such that the lip fillers don't seem to last very long (a few months at best) but it's a huge confidence boost when I do go for that splurge and am able to rock the full voluptuous pout that I always want. I'm going for such a splurge again tomorrow, and am looking forward to it. I suspect the next appointment after this one will be ahead of my wedding later this Fall. There is then another door behind the desk which leads to the Ultra Smooth Skin lobby. It is a slight scavenger hunt, but there are a lot of signs and employees to help guide you! Both estheticians I worked with were AMAZING! They are so insanely friendly and educational. They are very open to communicating knowledge and information around any treatments or procedures you may have. They are ranked very high in the valley and there are no questions as to why. I recommend checking out some of their packages on Groupon as well! The deals for the technology and treatment you receive are ABSOLUTELY worth every single penny. However, they were incredibly nice about it and informative as to why they avoid doing tear trough injections (blindness, lumpy aftermath, etc). They also gave me other possible solutions for my eye bag and were super kind and patient about it. So even though I actually got nothing done, I'm still super happy about the service here. I'll definitely come back if I decide on getting something that they do offer here!

People are genuinely surprised when I tell them how old I am (Actually, I rarely tell people how old I am. Keep 'em guessing!). I know what you're all thinking. Surely I'm related to Dorian Gray and there's a dusty painting of me hidden in a basement somewhere getting older by the minute. Nope! Angel has been my skincare guru ever since moving back to AZ. She is very professional and such a lovely person to talk to. I trust her with any skincare issues I might have. Since my last review she's expanded her practice to include some fellow aestheticians that offer a wide range of services from a deep cleansing facial, waxing, skin tag removal to IPL. She's always up to date with the latest in skincare issues and new products+ treatments coming out which makes it easy to get the best skincare available! My face always feels refreshed and has that youthful glow after an appointment with her. It's a great day when I get pampered by Angel! Her studio is in the back of the Studio de la Beaute salon in downtown Mesa with ample parking in the public lot. As an added bonus there are cool shops and restaurants within walking distance pre and post appointment to make your day a full relaxation experience!

4/30/2019 The owner has responded to the yelp post, posting inaccurate information to discredit…read moremyself. After posting on several group sites I found that this is a recurring issue. I was told that they were closed on Sunday, when I tried to call about the cuts. Now I am being told they were not, and "tried to call" but my phone company has no record of that. When I asked to be explained the paperwork and treatment I was signing, I was told by the owner to "just sign it" and that Sarah "would explain it later". She is claiming I lied about my UV exposure which affected my treatment, when in reality my job changed which had me outside more often which was updated with the most current aesthetician. I did purchase through groupon and set up all three appointments in March. The online system wouldn't allow me to reschedule as they had lost the employee, and when I called (from several different phones) I didn't hear back until it was too late to use all three groupons because I was aware that it would cause a breakout if done too close together. The owner decided to remedy by offering one dermaplaning. I spent $80 for 3 deep clean facials (which is $26 per, and I had $53 worth of facials left). The groupon for two dermaplanings with Sarah is $45 (I only had one (I had $23 worth, meaning that I paid an extra $30 NOT gifted an extra $30). I was told at my appointment in March to stop using retinol and St.Ives as it could have been making my skin red (which is a consistent problem), so I stopped both products in March and was only using African Black soap every 2-3 days, Rose Water Witch Hazel (alcohol free), and just plain soap the days in between. The owner KNOWS this but is trying to claim no blame to what happened to my face, so she is saying I am still using irritating products. I signed a waiver for a peel, and was told I was receiving a peel, and that it would burn but that was normal. Now the owner is saying that even though I signed a waiver, was told that I was receiving one, that I did not. This is concerning considering that I was not corrected until she responded to my review, and I have been under medical treatment where this information was pertinent. Sarah did offer me a fan, but complained that when another patient used it the fumes went into her face and made her sick, so I opted to not make her sick. The device I saw Sarah use was "surgical steel with detachable blades" or in other words, a razor. Some of the scratches were not visible on photos and I assumed that any amount of a cluster of several scratches would be a big deal to an owner, but apparently not. I have never had my face blown up, so I assumed I was having an allergic reaction, but was corrected by my PCP. She said it was not an allergic reaction but a full face injury and that the swelling was due to irritation. The owner told me to use benadryl and aquaphor, my medical provider said that she was glad I waited to see her before taking her advice as it was an injury. The OWNER said she had to wait to hear back from her EMPLOYEE before she could help me. As I am panicking the week before my wedding and the day before my pre-wedding photo shoot I am told that the owner of the store was waiting on her employee before she could offer any help. During the time it took I was able to make an appointment with my doctor and their in office aesthetician. The team informed me that they felt "so sorry that someone has done this to" me. That the "surgical steel tool" was used improperly, and in a way that was unsanitary (every cut a new blade should have been used). That after being butchered they should not have used a "lactic enzyme" as that is what most likely caused the swelling. The owner also cherry picks information. I was TOLD that I could resume my normal skin care routine, as dermaplaning had to down time (other than needing sunscreen). I did NOT resume, which was what I texted the owner, but for some reason she believes I said that I did resume, so either she is straight up lying or really didn't read. I was never given any paperwork to take home, with any after-care instructions, and remember Angel told me to sign the paperwork and that Sarah would explain it all to me (she did not). They also said "if they had known about my pictures {they} would've offered a different treatment plan", but when we started Sarah was asking me questions about the wedding, so it was told to her during that time. Once again the owner is lying to discredit me. Which blows my mind as I have text message documentation of her behaviors and medical documentation determining their fault. In the end, the aethetician undoubtedly made a mistake, as was agreed by a plethora of professionals (medical and skin care related). The owner is not only not offering me a refund of my services, or for the difference for services rendered, but is flat out lying about the facts to try to avoid blame.

I saw Rory for my Botox and she nailed it the first time! I'm one of those "tight but not too tight and I want a little movement but not too much!" I was not expecting it to be perfect the first time around! Today, I saw Sarah for my facial and she was so lovely and knowledgeable. My skin was GLOWING!! Definitely recommend the hydro facial if you're wanting to start over with some fresh skin. Feels amazing! Bought some Obagi product that I love and was happy they sold it there, as it's my favorite skin care line. I go back next week for facial threading and can't wait! I highly recommend this place for all things skin and body. I signed up for their monthly VIP which will ensure I get my my monthly maintenance! I used to go here for years until my favorite nurse left their practice. Today, after calling in to book a consultation, I spent over an hour completing their medical history form online. After completing this history, I discovered on a separate form that Vitality charges a fee if you do not end up purchasing products. While this is not unreasonable, it is Discourteous for Vitality to not transparently inform their prospects up front, so I called and stated my concern. The employee did not apologize and said clients can discover this information in the forms. (Does everyone read every line of every form they complete for medical offices?!) I suggested that it would be fairer and more respectful to be transparent about fees up front so that no one's time is wasted. She argued with me and showed no understanding of my concern; the aggressiveness surprised me and I immediately felt that something here was very wrong. I said that if Vitality doesn't respect my time then I can't make them, and then I cancelled the appointment. This conduct by Vitality is a Deceptive Marketing Tactic where Seller makes an attractive initial offer, Buyer expresses interest, Seller then delays vital information while the Buyer makes an investment of time and resources, Buyer then discovers the vital information yet feels pressure to move forward because of their time & resource investment in spite of the distrust which has been fostered by the seller's tactic. The combination of the tactic together with the employee's unapologetic defense of the tactic and failure to acknowledge its impact on me, made it clear that I should not trust doing business with Vitality, much less trust them to provide medical services. As the saying goes, "If you can't trust a person in small things, you cannot trust them with big things."

Come day of the appointment, I was greeted and addressed immediately. I worked with April through the whole procedure, and she was very informative, helpful, and attentive. It was my first time so she walked me through every single step and gave me advanced notice for what to expect. Let me tell you- the procedure hurt more than I expected but she was able to see that and changed the settings appropriately to help me through it. I've seen good results so far and am very happy with this clinic. They offer additional services (microneedling, facials, etc) which I would like to try at a future time!
