Elite runs an honest business. I originally was going to go with Glenn's based on a friend's recommendation, but apparently he couldn't come out until 2 days later.. they recommended Bob's which immediately seemed difficult. Without even asking me the issue, they quoted me $150. When I asked about the Yelp offer, they stated they couldn't honor the offer on the weekends.. keep in mind there are no restrictions stated in the details. Saggi called me immediately after I spoke to Elite's dispatch. Saggi was polite and indicated he could meet me in about 30 minutes. He asked me about the problem and game me a range, below the original offer from Bob's.. which I respect considering he had to look at the lock. He ended up calling me back apologizing for the short delay and even apologized again when he arrived. He was able to get me back into my storage door in no time and provided a few recommendations how to better secure my door. Unbelievable bait and switch! I actually looked this company up and sent my sister in law the contact info (I have to stop basing my selections purely on stars). She has a newborn and mistakenly locked her keys in her older model little Mazda WITH THE BABY INSIDE!!!! (simple slim Jim pop lock that would take no more than 10-20 seconds to pop open). Told her that they'd charge anywhere between $40-$50 and it would be quick so she could get the baby out. This guy saw a mother in distress and COMPLETELY took advantage of her and her state of panic. This guy pops the lock in mere seconds, then says she owes him $160, but had to use some specific app to pay him. She said she only had Venmo, so he says, "okay, Venmo me, but now the price is $250, because she couldn't use the app!?!?! You're thinking the same as me, "why didn't she download the app?" Well the stress of having the baby locked inside and the whole experience had her head running in circles, so she just paid him what he demanded. The REAL question is, "why was it even $160 to open something so simple???" This company is 100% pure shady and despicable. As an Elite Yelper, I dislike writing horrible 1-star review, but THIS is a company that I want to make SURE that people read about or think twice before calling. This company truly deserves NEGATIVE stars and I hope they contact me directly so they can refund my sister in law 100%. Many companies would likely have not charged this poor woman at all considering it took less than 10 seconds on a cheapo older car and she was obviously a wreck. Beware of Elite Locksmith! Worst experience EVER all around. Updating my review because initially I was impressed with what Jacob told me, but turns out the company refuses to stand behind their word. They quoted me $50 to come back to reprogram my original key once found. Over a span of time, I've attempted to reach the technician on his cell just to be told "I'm out of town" & other bogus excuses on numerous occasions. He never got back ahold of me when back. Now no response. The company tells me he no longer works there. In the midst of all this, the key I purchased from them has fallen apart. The chip fell out of the plastic shell from my keychain so that's now lost & useless. They now quote me $150 just to come re-program the original key found. That price doesn't even include doing anything about the one that broke... I didn't dare ask. They did say they wouldn't help cover any of that either though. I've called several times over the last few weeks just to be told the manager will be in at 9am & to call back. I call back & they're not available. I have also left messages to return my call & that never happens. I called this morning at 9.30 & got ahold of dispatcher Sarah. She insisted I tell her what happened then when she was incredibly rude & unhelpful saying she couldn't do anything, I told her I'd be updating my prior review to reflect this experience & that I will also be sharing how awful this has been to try to get any resolve. She said she is recording the call (totally fine) then hung up on me. Called back & she feigned ignorance saying she didn't know who I spoke with (even though it was her). Lol She said to call back to speak to a manager again at 12 noon. I don't think I'll get anywhere sadly. If this review has not been updated positively, you'll know I hit yet another dead end. The woman who answered the phone was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the technician we were out in contact with quoted $29 over the phone, but when he showed up and unlocked the door charged $150! We clearly asked in the very beginning for a quote on how much we'll be charged. This feels incredibly shady, and I would not recommend partnering with technicians that lack basic transparency. It puts the customer in a terrible position with an unexpectedly large bill. read more

I called them up yesterday to fix a door lock that wouldn't open. Before I told him to come I sent them a picture of the lock and they quoted me $60 for the lock. After he was done, the bill was $287, with this charge, that charge and tax. I would NOT recommend them. read more

These guys are complete frauds. I called them to set an appointment to open a door to my house. They told me to text them my information- address, time to meet, etc. 10 minutes later a gentlemen called me back and notified me he'd be there at approximately the time I requested. To my surprise, he was a few minutes early. As he was finishing the job, Elite Locksmith's Technician called me to let me know he was there.. When I began questioning the man who was working on my door he shrugged it off and said they were with them. He then instantly began shoving his iPad in my face to sign and pay for the service. The Elite Locksmith Technician (believe his name was Mike) began accusing me of hiring two companies and that I need to pay both of them. I paid the first gentlemen after being harassed by both of them. I then called the office at Elite Locksmith to get some answers. Mike began talking to his boss in another language (conveniently) and apologized after he sensed I was moments away from calling the police. He said this has happened once before and he will try to figure out how my information was passed. In hindsight, both technicians were middle eastern and looked as if they could be brothers. I have no doubt in my mind that they have run this scam multiple times to get more money out of their customers. Why would a technician, who is aware of a past scam his company has dealt with, insist I pay some stranger? They are crooks! I am pursuing filing charges and getting in contact with the Better Business Bureau over this. Do not enlist their services unless you are comfortable with your information being outsourced all over the place. read more

Amazing! I thought we were going to need a ton of work on our Land Rover after having issues with the key and ignition. Jacob responded quickly to our inquiry, provided an estimate before seeing it, showed up on time, and worked his magic. He's a genuine, honest person who clearly likes what he does and has integrity. The thing that stood out about my experience with Jacob at Elite, is that he did what was right for me. He looks out for his clients. (That is saying something in this industry!!). He listened, considered options, suggested what was in my best interests, not just the most expensive. He was transparent about his costs.
