Our front door lock wasn't quite closing all the way, and the inside knob was wiggling, so we had someone from Best-Locksmith come out. They were very prompt, they explained the problem clearly and installed a replacement right away, at what seemed like a reasonable price. While putting in the new lock, they took the initiative of also making some adjustments to the doorknob latch to get it to close more easily (over the years it had gotten slightly out of whack so you had to give it an extra push to get it to catch). NO ONE TRUST THIS COMPANY! This is unfortunately the second time I've delt with them. The first time I requested their help opening a car with the keys locked in it. I sent them away because they were going to charge me $120 for a door open, when someone else did it for $50. They communicated with a translation app, making the process more difficult. This time around, I was quoted $120-$180, then it was suddenly 250 bc they had to take an extra step but didn't ask me first, giving me no option but to pay the higher price. They gave me a discount bc I got upset and it went back to the 180. But then he told me that he couldn't "guarantee" it would work every time, which is wild. Then the second time I unlocked my car, it no longer unlocked. I went to a real locksmith who took the lock apart and found it was a jumbled mess, and the man glued pieces back together and a C clip that he lost, he tried to replace with a little piece of metal. I bought a "smart" dead bolt for my front door and thought I could just install it myself. Hahaha NO. I started reading the instructions and thought NOPE I need to have a locksmith do it because it'll take them 30 minutes tops and it'd take me all day and I'd not get it right. Dishonest business, and I feel duped. I had a problem with my car not starting and not being able to enter my car using my Key Fob. So I thought that it was something wrong with my key fob. My dad called this company to help me out and they arrived promptly. The employee bullied me around asking me to get a key for one of my other cars and asked to pull it next to my car. He put jump starter cables on both the cars and pulled me over to offer some new key fob options. After that he also offered to "fix" my old Key fob for a whopping $79. I declined obviously because I knew I was getting a new one. He started my car and programmed the new key which was great and then he pulled me over to pay for the services which was around $200! But when I went over to try out my "new" key I turned off my car and he said "keep it running the battery is dead" The battery is dead? You knew that the battery was dead and you insisted that I buy a $200 dollar key. The worst part about this all was that after he left I tried out my old key and it still worked perfectly fine, he tried to scam me into "fixing" my old key for another $79 The only problem with my car was that the battery was dead. Any honest business would've diagnosed the problem saw that the battery was dead and told me to get a new battery, but a crooked business like this one will take advantage of your lack of car knowledge and squeeze you for every dollar they can get out of you.
