Hi, I went here last minute before a trip with daily water activities! They were all very friendly and accommodating! I was in there for about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs, which I would say is pretty fast for gel x nails (with design and jewels), gel toes (French tip), and a full set volume lash. The price was fairly decent, I paid, if I'm remembering correctly, $230 for all services! These are lashes and nail growth about 5 days after service, I had been in and out of pools, oceans, and plenty showers at this point. And for starting said activities just the day after getting my lashes done, I'd say they held up pretty well! Very pleased, 10/10 recommend!!

I really like this nail salon. I started going here after moving to La Mesa and it has been my go to spot. Anna does a great job with designs and builder gel :) I also love going to Loni! I typically just have any nail tech do my toes!

Unfortunately I would not recommend it here if you want high quality service. I came in wanting the builder gel off of my nails, and wanted a regular gel manicure. The woman doing my nails went back and forth with me saying she would do builder gel because it's stronger. I had to say no multiple times and stand my ground. This wasn't a language barrier thing, she simply wanted to push me into a more expensive mani that I didn't book. She was pretty rough with my nails, especially with the cuticle roughly pushing it back. Additionally, she would pull on the builder gel on my nail which I'm pretty sure you are NOT supposed to do. Some of my bare nails looked rough after bc of the way she pushed my cuticle back. My mani is alright, but some of the free edges of my nail are bumpy and not filed correctly. I decided not to say anything about it so I could just file them at home.

The full on experience of this place is amazing!! The husband and wife team are incredible nail art designers. The vibe is great here as well. Full service. Theyre very friendly but their gel-x & builder gel experience is not the best. Ive gone to an independent nail tech who specializes in gel-x & builder gel and this place did not compare unfortunately. The gel-x nails were applied with too much gel underneath which caused my nails to detach a little underneath after about a week. Then i made another appt almost two weeks after for a soak off removal & builder gel and i feel like the gel from the gelx was not fully removed. My nails looked bulbous and im struggling to fix them now. Theyre very friendly & clean but not the best at gelx & builder gel.

Ana did a great job. My third time at the shop. Ana spoke to me throughout to ensure I was happy with the service. My first time getting gel x. It was a pleasant experience. Good music playing in the background.

Did an amazing job. First time getting builder gel on natural nails then chose a shade to go on top. Can't wait to start my journey growing my natural nails out! staff was very sweet as well.

Called for an appointment and they weren't busy so I just came right in. Nathan gave me an amazing gel x with extensions! Awesome craftsmanship and kind service, and the quality is top notch! I'm really happy with how my nails turned out. My tech was patient and made sure I liked the shape and color before finishing. The process didn't feel rushed, and everything came out neat and well done. Prices were fair and the shop was clean. I'll definitely be back.

They accommodated my mom, daughter, and I on late notice. It was my 3 year old's first pedicure and she was too small to reach the foot bath from the chair but they made it work anyway and were SO sweet to her. They made it really special. My pedicure looked great and lasted a long time event though I only got regular polish, not gel. We'll be back. read more

I have come here four times now, I found this place based off of the great yelp and social media reviews and I completely agree. Each time I come I get my nails done and a pedicure, both are always great. Anna is so fast and light handed and accurate with shapes. The salon is always clean and peaceful and either music or a fun show is playing. I suggest making an appointment and bringing cash because she is quite popular! read more

I have been going to this location since last year and have been a very loyal customer. Even got her more clients thats still go to this day. BUT one day i went in to get a fill for me and my cousin paid over $160 and left. I then started questioning why so much money for a fill. I felt comfortable to go back inside and just thought she probably didn't notice she charged me alot, simple mistake. I went back inside and asked her how much the fill was cause i thought it was more than i ever paid before. She never told me the prices or clarifed. She made it difficult for me cause no question was answered directly..so i took it and was like fine ill let it go... its never happened before. 2 weeks go by and i call her to make an appointment.. directly to VOICEMAIL. I found out she BLOCKED ME! Had my friend test it and call see if there was something wrong with her number but no she answered. So i called her by a blocked number she answered so i told that i was trying to make an appointment but it seemed like i was blocked. She faked and said she didnt know who i was and insisted i had the wrong number. Ive been so loyal and so nice always tipped was there every 2 weeks. She knew me by name and by number everytime. My partner called in advance to make an surprise appt. for my 30th birthday- he had scheduled with a gentlemen taking the appointment that included a full service of their specialty pedicure, and gel manicure, with several add-ons. When I arrived today the woman seemed really confused, and worried, she was only one of two workers there at the time. She asked what I wanted and I said I wasn't sure what it was for but once again reiterated the appointment should have all the notes and told her it would have included a gel manicure. She hands me colors and she begins working quickly, seeing her regular walking in after just starting my manicure I realize she's just quickly fitting me in. I walked in at 1:03 and she was done at 1:29, it took her 22 mins flat- even had me put on my own lotion. I paid and left, ending with a really fast mis-match shaped manicure and unfinished cuticles. but it was just really disappointing for a birthday when they went out of their way to make a lengthy appointment with details and which services. 2 stars because she was nice and I hate leaving bad reviews but was just not a great experience. Small onsite parking, and the place is a little dated and can use a clean but it seems like they have a lot of love so maybe I just caught them on a bad day / staff miscommunication read more

The service here wasn't the best. I went in to get a manicure with my boyfriend and they didn't even ask if he wanted a clear coat. We wanted to get a single spider sticker on our nails (since they said they cant draw a design) and told us that they couldn't accommodate that request since they had already finished his nails. Again, didn't even ask if he wanted clear coat or anything additional!! His nails weren't even filled down evenly. I asked for my nails to be cut short and rounded but all they did was round them and left them at the same length I walked in with. They also didn't even round them evenly. When I looked at my nails to see the length the lady just kept telling me to put them under the lamp. She also only painted 2 nails at a time and switched to the other hand... this is the first time that I see someone do this and it took a lot longer than the average service time. I saw another review on here that mentioned them asking how will you be leaving your tip. They come across to rude when asking if you're gonna be leaving your tip in card or cash. I was looking for a nail shop that did gel x and many places were booked for the days I wanted to get my nails done and I landed on this nail salon. I looked at the reviews and they were pretty good so I decided to try it myself. They were able to get me in the next day and I'm so happy that I gave this place a try! Anna did so good on replicating the nails I wanted. I would definitely go here again since the prices are reasonable and cheaper than most places as well. read more

I'm so disappointed I have to find another nail salon after it took so long to find this one, and I literally thought this was it! Close to home, nice staff, referred friends, family. However, I started to notice the prices were not consistent whenever Anna husband was at the shop. I already tip well, so there is no reason to increase your prices every 2 weeks. SERIOUSLY! The last time, I was charged for a fullest when I was getting just a fill. However, as her husband explained, it's because Anna filed the acrylic all the way down... what‍‍you would do anyway as to remove the previous color and smooth it. Needless to say, they have lost a customer, a good paying one, that was faithful, and I will continue to let everyone I know not to go anywhere you're cheated... ever! There are way too many shops with talented nail techs that will gladly give quality service and use quality products. That's why this shop isn't always busy because people are getting hip to their shenanigans. read more

I'm so glad I came across this cute nail salon they're all so very nice and friendly and did such an amazing job with everything. I came in for Gel X full set and a pedicure, first of all the fact that they even have Gel X as a service is such a huge plus it's been pretty tough finding Gel X without breaking the bank in San Diego who do good nail art. Anna id the one who did my nails and shes so good at what she does no complaints. The guy and another lady there who worked on my pedicure made my feet look brand new so smooth and pretty and not one single cut the nail polish was applied so clean I can't wait to go back! read more

Poor planning on my part but I needed a mani & pedi bad before leaving on a trip before Christmas. I called around & no one was able to fit me in last minute. I found Elite Nails, called them & had an appointment immediately. The shop is nicely decorated & very clean! The owners are a husband / wife duo & they both worked on me (it was 1st thing in the AM so I was the only one there) & did a fantastic job! I usually do a basic mani with color but I wanted to try something new so Anna hooked me up with these gorgeous yellow ombre nails. I received compliments my entire trip, I'm back & STILL don't need a fill yet. The first time I went I got my toes done, I went with my friend and they treated me so good that I decided to come back. Unfortunately, the second time wasn't such a pleasant experience. I feel like because it was two of us They charged us reasonable prices. I went two weeks ago by myself and they were trying to charge me $80 for a basic full set with NO gel. I think it's unprofessional how they take advantage of people who go solo or change their prices. Not only that but I made a reservation at 4 PM and they didn't attend me till 45 minutes later (I don't think that was professional at all) I had to walk out because the prices were out of hand. I've gotten my nails done in La Jolla where they kindly cater to you and offer gel for a 10 dollar up charge for way cheaper than this place. I also want to add that I asked about the price over the phone and he gave me a completely different price than in person. Once I sat in the chair, and the Guy whispered to the girl and as soon as he whispered to the girl, the girl changed her price; not only was that super rude, but that was very unprofessional and a waste of my TIME! That was not the price I was giving over the phone! I I will not be going back after my recent experience. i first started going to this salon back in may to get my nails done for my birthday and i have been a loyal customer ever since!! they are absolutely amazing with their attention to detail as well as the quality of their overall service. i work in retail and i get soooo many compliments on my nails because of them! they are genuinely nice people and want to ensure that you walk out of their salon happy. there was one instance where they didn't have the exact color match for the color i wanted for my nails and they took the time to swatch and show me different colors until i found something i was happy with. i usually get a gel-x manicure with them and my retention is MINIMUM one month which is amazing. and even just now, i had called to ask if they could fix one nail that was lifting after i had just gotten my nails done with them a week ago, and they fixed it for me free of charge (they were even kind enough to fix some of the gold accenting on my nails too)! it's super clear to me that they care about their customers and the service they provide. i love coming here and genuinely look forward to seeing them every month to get my nails done. read more

The massage was relaxing and their scrubs smelled really good. Unfortunately, I didn't get the lady's name but I would get my appointment for toes with her. She also checked on me about the gel color after applying it to my toe and that's when I noticed it wasn't as red on my skin tone so they nicely helped me pick out a darker color. It's the small attention to details and kindness that I was really impressed with. I also got a gel, Red, French tips. I like how they used a pinkish base closer to my natural one then painted the tips ($40). The lady who finished my nails was detailed and fast! They came out neat! Overall, I would recommend them to friends and I will for sure come back. Just note as a first time customer that if their front parking lot is full, just turn right on the light and there's an entrance for the next lot. Thahn was incredibly skilled and attentive, giving me exactly the Gel X style and design I wanted with meticulous attention to detail. I was nervous at first because this shop is new but I called and they said I could come now. Thank GOODNESS! They are bomb. The shop is so chill and clean. Everyone was nice and I liked that they had good music on, it was an actual relaxing time. I got a full set and gel pedi, my nail tech was confident and on point. I loved it. This is the only shop I will get my nails done at!! I LOVE that they are always up on the latest nail trends and I show her a picture and she knows exactly what to do.
