I asked if she needed a minute to settle herself and prepare the room and she said no. I then asked her to wash her hands prior to starting (as she would be touching my face and since she just came in and hadn't prepared the room or anything...and I don't know where her hands had been just before she arrived). She gave me attitude but I asked her again, and even said, "or use hand sanitizer." She grudgingly went to the bathroom, turned on the water for 3 secs, loudly grabbed paper towels, balled them up and returned. So, it was clear that hands were not washed. At this point, I'm regretting the decision to have given this place a try despite some of the negative experiences I've read about. But, I decided to make the best and see if it can be a good experience after all. She begins, and does not clean or prep my lashes...AT ALL. She puts tape on my undereye area, sticks some things on my forehead and starts applying the lashes. When I told her that I noticed she didn't put anything on before starting, she told me that she doesn't use anything because they contain alcohol which isn't good. After a few minutes, she takes my hand, puts a fan in it, telling me to hold it there for a bit and that I'm done. I said, what? I look at the clock and it's been 7 minutes. Yes, SEVEN minutes!!! I tell her that I have never had my lashes done in seven minutes. She told me that she's fast and that she's been doing lashes for 15 years. Once I get up and look in the mirror, my lashes on the right side are not straight. She said it was because my natural lashes were curly. I told her I've had my lashes done plenty of times and have never had that issue. I had to ask several times for her to fix it. To her credit, she did finally have me lay back down to correct the visibly crooked placement. But the final product was definitely below standard. I was in and out in under 30 minutes (mind you, we started late). When I got home, I looked in my magnifying makeup mirror. The lashes are sloppily applied and glue chucks are visible and can be seen on my eyelid. I definitely won't be going back.

It was my first time going to them, and I was very grateful of their services because most people would turn me away because I like my nails and feet to be done correctly. I don't expect anything to be free. That's the whole point of going to a service because you expect to pay for a service that's supposed to be professional I got the professional services. The lady that did my feet and nails were amazing. The second time I booked my appointment for my fill because I cracked my toenail and it was my birthday so I reached out and I booked the appointment. They confirmed with her and she booked my appointment. I woke up in the morning of my appointment and the message stated that her daughter had got sick and that she can't make my appointment and I asked was there anybody else to take my appointment? The guy text me and said no we're all booked and I'm like OK so my birthday was ruined because it was last minute and it was the Fourth of July weekend and I didn't have anybody else to take my appointment so today I reach out to them to book my appointment because now I got more missing nails and they wouldn't answer their phone. I called five times and even the number that they text you from I text him back where they text me and they didn't answer so my husband call from his phone and they answer hello golden nails and then so I said well. Wait a minute maybe they were with a client maybe they're on the phone let me call back again. I called back a few more times. No answer now. I don't know if they're being racist towards me or they just don't wanna assist me, but that's weird because they booked another appointment for me but turned around and canceled my appointment why I don't know but every time I try to call them they're not answering their phone. This is supposed to be a new establishment. I'm new to California, but I am picking up. There's a whole lot of salons being disrespectful to African-American and other foreigners when they come in and get services done and they'll block them from doing future services this is not the first salon that I've had an interacting counter with when it came to not taking me back as a customer or just not doing my services at all and I'm never rude but each time they stick together and they'll have proof which will be the camera footage is but every last one of these nail salons are owned by the same nail chain and they're discriminating and because it is, I will be reaching out to my lawyer only because there's no reason why someone cannot go into a nail salon to get any Services and there shouldn't be a reason why salons are targeting people for clientele so am I upset about it yes because I tip every time I get my nails done and if I knew they were gonna turn around and be disrespectful to me when I leave, I would've kept my money in my pocket seeing that I am a retired nail tech, and I don't have any issue would not return it to someone's salon if they do not like me, but one thing is someone who comes to your salon and they ask for services that you went to school to learn how to do in order to obtain your license it's crazy and there's no point of reaching out and asking to speak to their manager about any concerns I do not recommend
