The service was very quick. I got a new set of nails and a pedicure. I love my new set of nails, but I'm not happy with the pedicure. My eyesight is bad and now that I'm able to look at my feet the paint job is horrible. I need them done for an event this weekend so I'll have to try and get them fixed. It wasn't worth the $85 (in my opinion). I used to go here a couple years ago when I had nails and they were wonderful. It seems the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. DO NOT GO HERE! They do not sanitize their tools properly!!! I'm making this review on behalf of the experiences I have had with a family member going here. This place clearly does not sanitize their tools because they shove them back in a drawer. On my last visit, I witnessed the same tools that were being used on one lady be shoved into a drawer and when the next person got into a chair they were used on them without sanitization. *** And no, they did not have multiple sets in the drawer. They only had one set of those items and they pulled it out of the same drawer to use on the next person. When I had gone with a family driver they informed her to put her feet into the water and it was boiling hot to the point it gave her feet blisters. When applying acrylic nails the the manicurist nicked my cuticle- causing it to bleed- and did not provide any antiseptic care to the injury site which causes an infection. They simply put gel into the broken cuticle skin which burned like hell. I as well as mu family have gotten infections from this place because they do not follow OSHA standards. read more

The staff were mean and rude. I wanted to soak off my no chip polish instead of having it drilled off but I was told no, no, no. That they have to use the drill file. I don't have fake nails with any acrylics, gel, etc. I was repeatedly told no and that they did not want my money to pay them to soak off the no chip polish. This is my 4th time back here. I wanted to give it a few goes before I put a review up. It seems it is a hit or miss with several of these mail spas. You either have an awesome experience or it was a disaster. The store is all open and bright you walk in to a small seating area and greeted right away asking what service your looking for. Pick your color and hold tight. Of course If there are several people waiting your going to be there for a bit so just be ready for that. Come earlier or later in the evening to avoid the crowd. There is a 12 chair pedi station toward the back and the massage chairs are awesome. In fact I am sitting in one right now .... Waiting. But at least I'm waiting and getting a massage! Pricing for standard pedi is 30 they have some extra deluxe options at 45. They do a really nice job with the pedicures. As far as fills. Depending on you you get it may be better with one or the other. I'm working my way around everyone and then I'm going to do my best to keep the same person. Right now Mae is hands down favorite. She did an amazing job - very sweet and speaks English very well. Which is nice because I'm chatty. Over all this spa is a solid 4. The technicians at this nail salon at times very rude to customers; especially #8. During my last two visits, the color on display was very different than what was in the bottle. Before he put it on my nail this last time, I said "no thank you." Following this, he became very frustrated and refused to finish. I asked the young lady who came to finish if there was an issue. She told me he doesn't like that I change my mind all of the time. She also let me know he doesn't speak English. Little does she realize, I have been coming there for years and he does speak English. He has spoken to me many times prior. She told me he said he will not do my nails any more. He will never have to worry about it. I will not ever be back. Nail services are too far and wide to be treated this way. Went here 5 days ago for a no chip manicure. The staff was unfriendly. The lightning is dim and my nails were not shown to me during polish application. Normally, with glitter other salons ask me how many coats. Never happened. I asked for a gradient application, was quickly told "No." I had somewhere to go so I allowed her to finish (she did give a good hand massage), paid and tipped. In the car I noticed bubbles in the solid color polish, glitter and polish on the tips of my hand and cuticles, and the glitter was not even applied to the edges of my nail on any of the 4 sides of the nail bed. Due to busy schedule I could not return until today, 5 days later (left out of town that day and work 7 to 7, off finally today). I returned, showed them my nails, and asked if they could simply paint a coat of glitter over the 4 solid color nails to cover the bubbles and now chipped paint on 2 nail edges. I was rudely told "No, you were satisfied a week ago... You do a lot with your hands!" I explained to the manager the bubbles were there immediately, she didn't care she walked away while I was talking. Horrible customer service, no apologies and didn't even try to work with me. Worst service ever, beware when patronizing this business. When I entered the salon for service I was the only client in the salon. I requested a manicure/pedicure, seems pretty simple right?? After selecting 2 polishes that were old, I settled for a color comparable to my initial request. My toe nails were uneven, never addressed with my initial nail tech. The nail technician had a difficult time polishing the color I selected, it was a light color and I do recognize these colors can be difficult to polish. My expectation was for her to secure assistance. She did AFTER she attempted to polish my toes twice, both attempts unsuccessful. With each failed attempt opposed to removing the uneven and thick polish to start anew, she polished on top of a mess having been created. I requested the polish be removed every time as the job was pretty sub par. The new technician polished better I suppose, use the photos below to judge for yourself. I requested she even my toenails, and boy did she! Logically it would make sense to remove wet polish and file, buff, etc. Not at Elite Nail Spa, that was too much like right and 3-4 extra minutes of time. Instead, she clipped my toenails while wet and they still remained uneven when I left. Needless to say, below are photos of the $52 job I paid for. I went to get a full set. It's normally $45 for full set and $5 for shaping. They charged me $60 and asked for cash tip $70. ??? My nails look terrible the lady missed parts of my nails and put gel on right after filing. There's streaks in my matte top coat and there's residue all over my fingers even after I washed them. My nails are also not shaped right. I'll have to file them myself when I get home. He would swat my hand away before moving to the other. He also grabbed my wrist while it was curing in the light thing and yanked it across the table to put cuticular oil on it. First, let me say, this was the first time that I've ever been to this establishment, and if I could give this place less than a zero rating, I would. Second, I very rarely post reviews, etc., but this one I had to do. I had THE WORST experience with this place, to the point of disgust! I just lost my father to cancer, and have been pretty low key lately, as my entire family has been taking my father's death pretty hard. My elderly mother tried to organize a "spa day" for my sister, my 12yo niece, herself and me, to lift our spirits. NO SUCH THING! The employees here are rude, unprofessional, hateful (and I am always reluctant to make this accusation), but they are RACIST against Black patrons. When we walked into the shop, we were NEVER greeted. Then after several minutes, a lady looks up and says "What you want?" We tell her 4 mani's and pedi's, to which she says nothing. We sit back down and 15 minutes later, someone barks, "4 pedi's sit back there." No one leads us to "back there." No one tells us where to sit, so we each take a seat in available chairs, next to each other. There is no nail tech sitting at any of the chairs and all of the bowls already have water in them. I guess as patrons, we are to presume that the water is fresh, and not from a previous customer, etc? We all take a seat with our feet on the side of the bowl and await direction. After 15 more minutes, a tech with a thick accent, working on a woman across the floor, yells something to my sister, without ever really turning around and with her mask on. After three attempts, and her never actually turning around to address us, we still could not make out what she was saying. The manager then comes by and says "just put your feet in the bowl...with pedicures you have to put your feet in the bowl." Being quite familiar with the process of pedicures... I tell her, "I have been getting pedicures since I was 13 years old, I am not accustomed to putting my feet in standing cold water," to which she says, " if you want hot water you have to ask for hot water." Really?? If they were actually a reputable nail spa, they would be using an agent called sodium sarcosinate in HOT (or at least warm) water, as a part of every pedicure...but I digress. The manager then proceeds to go to each bowl, putting her hand in the water (being sanitary clearly not a thing here), then aggressively begins turning on what I presume was hot water, until she gets to my niece's bowl and shouts, "she's fine." Let me pause here to add, that during this ordeal, we actually witnessed two non-black patrons kindly addressed and politely escorted to their seats for service..The techs couldn't have been more accommodating to them....It is at this point, that I refuse to be disrespected, disregarded and abused another second, for a service for which I am paying. The four of us opt not to receive service and without a word, begin leaving. The same manager follows behind us as we're leaving shouting through the entire establishment, "fine, leave, we don't need you...we don't want you here." It took everything in me not to give this out-of-pocket, unprofessional, aggressive, brazen and unhinged woman a piece of my mind. We were very intentional about our response, because my niece was watching, in shock and disappointment. Nope...I will take my business elsewhere. Irrespective of my race... My money is still green, and I will not spend a dime of it at this place. This is the type of establishment that thrives off of "just being in the neighborhood," not because they provide a good service. They are unsanitary, unclean, subpar and unprofessional, AND they have the AUDACITY to be racists? Shame on them. read more
