I got a Manicure and Pedicure. The Manicure was 15 and the Pedicure was 22, so the prices seemed reasonable. We sat down to wait, but we were quickly prompted to get our services started. I was directed to a chair for the Pedicure first. At first, the water was very hot! The employee ended up changing the temperature. It turned pretty cold quickly. My nails were cut down, but they weren't shaped too great. I got a clear coat on them and that turned out nice. The Pedicure felt rushed. The job got done, but it could have been done neater in my opinion. It didn't feel relaxing to me at all. After the Pedicure, I was directed to a different area to get my Manicure. This ended up being a similar feeling as the Pedicure. I felt I was being rushed out of the place. She did alright on my nails. It was a clean place. Everything I encountered seemed sanitary and kept up with. The service was alright. We paid by card and left a tip on the same transaction. I didn't think it was appropriate for the employee to tell us to tip cash next time. Overall, I had a good experience here for the price it was. There wasn't anything special that stood out to me. One of the things I appreciate most is how hard she works to accommodate my schedule. She's professional, reliable, and genuinely cares about her clients. I've referred several friends to Tee over the years, and they all love her just as much as I do. She recently moved to B Nails, and I absolutely love the atmosphere there--it suits her perfectly, and she fits in so well with the team. I finally had the money to splurge on a mini spa day for me and my mother, but because we never get our nails done they cut SEVERAL steps out like trimming our cuticles, not having us wash our hands after the nail drilling, rushing our pedicures/foot massages that we paid a specific time/service for and then overcharging. I had set up an appointment two weeks in advance with specific services selected and when we got there 10 mins early like the site rules indicated (including confirming we would be there that same morning via text) they not only had no idea we were coming or bothered to look us up on their system for the services we requested. They must've realized I didn't exactly know how getting your nails done work because after I told them again what we wanted they went out of their way to confuse us about our choices and force additional services. Not to come off racist or anything, but with their heavy accents I was LOST when the lady kept trying to convince me I was wrong about what me and my mom wanted all the while carrying a condescending attitude. I could TELL they were snickering in Vietnamese so in spite I only spoke to my mom in our native language which visibly bothered them and I'm sure that contributed to the lack of quality work. I don't have a picture to show of the full gel set nails they did for me (this was a month ago and I forgot to make a review/get the ladies name down bc we were rushing to pack for vacation the next day), but to a newbie like me I thought they looked mostly okay, that is until my mom later told me they ended up cheating us of the quality services we overpaid for. My mom doesn't speak English well and they separated us after they rushed my moms pedicure to do her hand nails so she couldn't communicate to me they were doing us wrong until I had already paid/tipped. She worked very diligently and it was such a relaxing experience. She also wasn't harsh on my feet. I didn't feel rushed either! My legs and feet were a bit achy before I came in and now I feel like a new person! The prices are very reasonable - it's $25 for a regular pedicure. For the special pedicures it ranges from $35-$45. The peppermint pedicure was $35 and so worth it! I'm so glad that I tried them out. Everyone was so friendly there too. I went first thing in the morning when they opened and didn't have to wait. My mom and I use to go here about 10-13 years ago and I totally have been reminded why we do go back. And the nail she had to wipe clean because of the attempted upselling of the chrome is still visible. Just a bad experience. She tried to upsell me several times making the whole experience very uncomfortable. No-chip on my toes, if I wanted to lengthen my nails with acrylic, if I wanted to add dip and then mid polish she put the shiny overlay to see if I wanted to do the rest to which I said no so she had to redo that nail. So awkward. I just want the services I asked for. I have to keep my hands tidy for work and this was a big expensive for me considering the current tone of the nation and everything being expensive. Even though I'm one of Angie's clients, they all greet me when I come in and when I leave. If Angie wasn't available I would feel completely comfortable having my nails done by any member of the wonderful staff. Friendly doesn't come close to describing their attitude. This past April, I went to B&B Nails Spa where I decided to get a manicure with my normal pedicure…read more I have been going to B&B Nails Spa for about 3 years and have had no problems with the pedicure procedure. There has always been a bit of a language barrier, as they only speak enough English I believe to get by, but we made it work. I cannot remember the name of the older woman who did my manicure, but I have seen her there every time I went, so know that she is a regular. Shortly after I got my manicure, all my nails got infected. The nails and nail bed swelled up and turned white. I went to my doctor and she said that it's an infection due to not properly disinfecting the tools they use. I ended up being on antibiotics and an ointment for the infections for a few months and now I have to wait for the infection to grow out on my fingernails before I can go even anywhere else. I called B&B Nails Spa to let them let them know about the infection, and complain on about my problem, and all of a sudden the person who took the call was too busy to talk to me for even a minute on the phone. I called back a couple more times and it seemed that they were always too busy to talk to me about this situation. The infection is painful and sadly, it seems that B&B Nails Spa could care less. Needless to say, I will no longer go back there and I no longer recommend them to any of my friends. I highly recommend that you do not go there and go somewhere else. NEVER, NEVER again will I go there.
