1/20/18 I went to Elite Nails & Spa with my daughter and sister for a girl's day out. The lady I had, 'Ruby', was rude to me from the very start. She was rough, rude, abrupt, and got nail color on my shirt. (You have to click on the picture to see the nail polish on my shirt) Despite my better judgment, I left her a tip on her work space. She picked it up and slapped the tip money down for the lady doing my sister's nails in front of me. The lady doing my daughter's nails said this woman was known for being rude to customers and fellow employees. As an apology, a different employee gave me $10 off my total bill. read more

My first time coming here and the experience was not so polite.. The overall job of my nails are mediocre to say the least, the guy who did them was very rude, as I asked him to reshape one of the nails that didn't look like my other nails, his demeanor was harsh and not customer friendly! They're over priced and the nail technician Andy should definitely work on his customer service skills! The only reason I'm giving them a 1 star is because thats the lowest score!!! read more

I wish I could give less than one star! I try not to throw the "R" word around carelessly, however Elite Nails & Spa is a RACIST establishment that will NEVER again receive my patronage. They are so rude and disrespectful to their African American clientele. My last experience there was awful. I went to the salon accompanied by my twin sister, my 12 year old daughter and my almost 80 year old mother. My father had recently passed away and we decided that we would seek a little grief therapy at the nail spa. When we walked in a woman spoke without looking up and asked, "what do you want?" I responded 4 manis and 4 pedis please. She did not say anything further. After 15 minutes another woman came up front and said 4 pedis in the back. We went to the chairs in the back and sat another 15 minutes. After 15 minutes a tech that had just finished another pedicure said something to us, with her mask on, with her back turned and with a thick accent. I responded, "I am sorry I don't understand what you are asking me", she repeated the inaudible communication again and I said again, "I am sorry I can't understand what you are saying." She now begins yelling the inaudible communication to my almost 80 year old mother, who was not the person asking her to clarify what she was saying. At this point we are all frustrated because the technician is aggressively yelling something we don't understand and we are unsure of what to do. The manager comes in and says, "when you get a pedicure you put your feet in the water." My sister responded, "I know what to expect with a pedicure. We didn't understand that she was asking us to put our feet in the water since the water is cold and there is no tech working on any of the chairs here." The manager went to each of the seats felt the water in the bowl, splashed cold water on my mother and told my 12 year old, "your water is fine for you," and looks at me and my sister and says, "If you want warm water, you have to ask for it," and throws up her hands and begins to walk off. At this point I am beyond angry and I say I to my family, "I refuse to pay someone to be disrespectful," and we should leave. As we prepare to leave, THE MANAGER begins saying loudly through the salon, "Yes, leave we don't need you here, leave!" I had to make a quick exit because had I not, I would have felt the need to address their disrespect and it would have escalated in a very negative way. NEVER AGAIN, especially since I have seen white and non-black patrons very well accommodated and treated politely during past visits as well as this recent visit. The approach and service were polar opposites and that is ignorant, unacceptable and yes RACIST! Why can't we see each other for the content of our character instead of the color of our skin!! Until they treat every customer with kindness and respect, I will tell EVERY ear that can hear and show every eye that can see this post! read more

There are a few techs at Elite who are downright rude. I was looking at the nail colors and the tech literally took the color charts out of my hands!.Then she started to scrape my old polish off. I told her politely not to rush me. The salon was NOT crowded. She mumbled something incoherent to me. When she was finished and I paid her AND gave a tip...no thank you from her. So rude. These people work for us. They should be reminded of this. They pretend not to understand English, but they sure understand the money! read more

This was a pretty nice place. I got a no-chip gel manicure earlier today and I am happy with my nails. Decent customer service but the total for my sister and I to get manicures was $60 not including tip... I recommend color 106 if you like pink/nude read more

First visit to this salon for my Mom, daughter and sister and the service was horrible!!!! The techs are rude, arrogant and argumentative, the service was trash and when confronted regarding the Terrible no chip manicure and pedicure my family received they "nominated " a spokesperson for the entire shop that was rude as hell as well as unwilling to help rectify the bad work. Horrible customer service and even worse paint job on my mani and pedi which started peeling after whole 2 days. Never again!!

They don't even deserve a star. If you get "Andy" stop in your tracks. Had a horrible experience they were rude and unclean. He was very aggressive in pushing back my cuticles and then when was cutting my cuticles, made me bleed. Then refused to let me wash my hands. I didn't let him finish the no chip manicure after I felt like he was using dirty utensils while my cuticle was bleeding. I asked to speak to the manager and he said there wasn't one. Shortly after someone told that the manager was there. After I approach her she was too busy with customers to address the issue at the moment. After I walked out I wasn't even given an apology. I will never go there again. Good customer service should be a given when you are spending money on a simple service they are profiting greatly on. read more

Love going here!! It's the best nail salon in the NW Indiana area in my opinion. Carly does an amazing job!

First and last time coming here, you would think to build clientele they would be friendlier. I came in with my own nails for a gel and the tech argued with me that my bare natural nails were broken nails walked away and came back and said you need to go some where else... so rude. They were not broke nails these were my own nails... that's the part you're not understanding. read more
