I hope they improve the way they handle their customers' concerns if they are unhappy with a service. While I was there, the young lady in the pic paid $45. for a pedicure but then said she could still feel some dead skin under her feet. She asked if the guy who did the pedi or whoever was available could take it off. One employee told her a couple of times that the dead skin was because she had a previous build up of dead skin that would take more than one pedi to remove so that the guy could just put oil under her feet. When the young lady declined she very politely asked for a refund. She was told they don't give refunds but someone would take care of her. She then sat & waited almost 30 minutes until someone finally took care of her. ( See pic.) Other than that, they do a nice job, especially Lynn. I was a 1st time customer at this business. The ONLY reason I went is because I was in the area. Listed below is why I will not go back: 1. Sign on door stated they were open until 7:30p Mon through Thur. I was there between 5.15p and 5.30p. 2. I was greeted and asked what I wanted. I stated NO CHIP pedicare and manicure. 3. He spoke in their language, advising what I wanted. There were three guys sitting on the last three ped chairs looking at their phone and never got up. 4. He then turned around and gave me the guy that was sitting behind the only lady employee. 5. He didn't speak a lick of ENGLISH. This is unacceptable. 6. I wanted no chip for both hands and feet. 7. The guy working on my feet was gentle. However, he didn't know how to use the instrument correctly. Never removed the in grown toenail and didn't clean under the toenail. 8. I wanted the lavender pedicure. However, they were out. He was trying to explain the other fragrance, but again, he didn't speak English. I also asked for parriffan wax, and he stated they don't do. REALLY!!!!! 9. I saw a guy adding water to a bowl from the last pedicure chair in the shop, and he came towards me. They never asked if it's okay if two ppl worked on me at the same time. I don't like it. He did a basic manicure on my hands in less than seven minutes. Didn't clean, cut cuticles, or shape the nail (as my hair is blue and I was scratching and still had blue rinse on the bed of nail). Charged "$15 for my hands. 10. However, b4 they finished servicing me, they wanted me to pay. I said why I can't wait until I'm finished. Well, they were closing early and shutting down the register. It was $65 for the no chip. I gave $90 and asked for a receipt. I was told they don't give receipt for CASH payments. I made them get a piece of paper and write out a receipt. They will be the 1st round said this BLACK woman didn't pay. However, what I witnessed next should make every man, woman, and/or child stay out of there. The guy that did my hands. He took that same bowl with water, used that to rinse off the tools he used on me, grap a bag, drop the cutting tools in the bag, and then PROCEED TO SEAL THE BAG. This means tmor when he comes in and takes out that bag and rips open, the customer will think it's been sterilized. SO THIS PLACE S A BIG FAT NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Recommendations: 1. Get English classes for the employees. 2. Get customer service classes for the employees. (If you are working in the U.S.A.; all employees should know how to speak basic english) 3. All customers, regardless of race, color, or creed, DESERVES to be treated EQUALLY. All money is the same color, GREEN. read more

This review is after at least 6 visits. The only thing that prevents 5 stars is that the tracking system could be better. On my last visit, I arrived and was greeted immediately. However, I realized all the pedi chairs were full and was notified it would be a wait. I was fine with waiting. While waiting 2 other women walked in and were sent to the pedicure. After asking if my chair was available also, I was told in a moment although I was there first. Instead of making the correction I had to wait. This isn't the first time that that happened to me there. Besides that issue, the ACTUAL service is great. I've only had pedicures here. They don't rush on your feet. They have different options with lavender and other essential oil options. I love using the massage options on the chairs. When they wrap the warm towel around my legs and feet is simply the best part for me. In all a great place but more attention to order would be nice. read more

I've been coming here for a year now and I can say that I'd give them 6 stars if I could. The nail techs I've had are personable. My favorite is Don who gives the best pedicures and knows how to properly care for a runner's feet. Vy & Kim are great for a fill in and they're really good at a quick eyebrow wax. The prices are reasonable too. I really don't understand what the bad reviews are about but I guess every customers experience is different. There might be a little bit of a language barrier but these folks are hard working and friendly so that doesn't matter to me. read more

This place used to do a great job but the last few times I've gone they rushed through the mani/pedi. The no chip didn't last and trying to match toenails to the no chip polish is a nightmare. 1. I would never go back to this place!! I had to wait 30 minuets. Finally a man came to give me my pedicure. To start with he could not speak English and definitely did not know the profession. He cut the skin on 2 toes, making them bleed. My left big toe & the toe next to it. I paid $30.00 but gave no tip. He dug down on each big toe making them hurting for the next 4 days. I usually get a decent scrub/massage at these places but she just gave me an "okay" one. I was not that impressed. My nails look nice but my heels were still rough. This was my first time here and I didn't realize that the chairs massaged. I saw other people with them and didn't realize the side of my chair could come down so I could access the controls. It would have been nice for the girl to tell me that!! The manicure was nice and looked great when completed. About an hour or so later my nails hurt so freaking bad. My friend that came with said that they sand down your nails too much and make them thin. Great. I didn't realize that. Evidently it will hurt when they come off. Been going here for years and the service and care has just gone down the tubes. I think they have new people come in who have no clue how to do a pedicure. This is the 3rd straight time this has happened to me and I won't be coming back. I always get the deluxe pedi And for years it was amazing now there is no difference from regular to deluxe other than the price. All the prices of all the services have gone up and the quality is low. One part of the pedicure is to cut and clean up cuticles and and file the nails. That has not happened now twice. The polish is sub par and the new polish their buying chips in 2 weeks. Very upsetting. read more

Very unhappy! This is my second time coming here. First time was a week day night and it was slow so they took their time. This was a Saturday, very busy and I was rushed. Waited 45 minutes then when the girl started my pedicure she kept stopping because her previous client was complaining about her nails so she stopped my pedicure twice to fix this ladies nails! She gave me know extra options for my pedicure so it was rushed to do my nails. I'm VERY disappointed in my pedicure! My feet still have calculus which I pointed out a head of time that they needed extra attention! Then there's my nails........ My nails are REAL. I told her I wanted the cuticles cut and my nails filed, then painted. She insisted on cutting them to even them. I told her no. She insisted so I said cut them very little. What does the lady do? I've been here twice. First time I came the technician did an amazing job, I was very pleased with the work she did and how attentive and friendly she was. I decided to come back since the first time was a very pleasant experience. I am a bit upset about the work this lady performed. Not only did she not care to correct or pay any attention to what she was doing, she had a poorly attitude. I understand how demanding and frustrating this job could be but customer shouldn't pay for your frustrations. She looked extremely irritated to the point of feeling like she's was rushing. I don't think this manicure is worth $30. I'm very patience, and grateful to those who offer a good job and work ethic. 0 stars for customer service! My daughter and I who are African American came in and approached the counter for service. There were 2 staff at the counter that said nothing to us. I stood to the side for paying customers and still no response. When a WHITE patron came in she was immediately greeted and offered service. When I said, I was waiting ahead of her, I was ignored and the WHITE patron was immediately seated. It wasn't until I demanded an apology that another staff person came up to acknowledge me. He explained they didn't understand or speak English. But the words that were said to the WHITE patron, "Hi, how can I help you, choose a color and sit there" were ALL ENGLISH! I went to get my acrylics removed and I had to go to a room to lay down bc it hurt so bad. They jammed an extra acrylic nail between my fake and real and ripped it off and every one hurt!!! I just about fainted, had I not asked to go lie down. She didn't make my nails smooth before painting them again either. What is this?? This is NOT how acrylics are supposed to b removed!!! Employees were really rude, girl who did my fill was in such a hurry to take her break (sitting in a pedi chair with head phones on) that the edges of some of my nails weren't completely covered in polish. When I asked her to fix it she acted like I was imposing on her! Unhappy with the shape of nails too, a few nails are obviously filed crooked with sharp edges. This was the best pedi I have ever experienced. Period. Went there with my sisters-in-law before a big event. I have really sensitive feet and don't care much for the clipping, filing, and removal of rough spots... This guy was so gentle! It literally felt like he was kissing them when he was clipping the cuticles! It was also only 25 bucks. They use all the good stuff--OPI, Essie. It's a nice, clean shop. They will try to start your feet first so you are "obligated" to stay for your nails. They proceed to take forever and take other clients before you. In the pedicure chair right now with Julie! She is my go to for pedis and nails. I can't imagine how much more a person would want but then again some people are just negative ! I've been going to this shop for years and over the years I've had a lot of friendly professional nail techs. But today was the worst experience of my life. I'm sorry I didn't get the tech's name but I was so upset I just wanted to get out of there. It was an older gentleman. First of all, when I came in and the girl at the desk notified him that I needed my nails done, he acted like he didn't want to do them. He made some comment in Chinese that I didn't understand; whatever he said made the young lady uncomfortable and embarrassed. During the entire time he was doing my nails he was extremely rude; acting like he was actually disgusted. I hate to throw around the word racist, but I'm certain that was his problem. Then afterwards, my nails were wet and he didn't even assist me with my coat and purse. Then when I complained to the manager she showed no concern. The only thing she said, very dismissively, was when you come back I'll make sure you get someone else. I said I won't be back and she said ok; as if she could care less if I returned or not. I am so tired of these businesses coming into our neighborhoods, taking our money and treating us like SHIT!!! I have never written a review in my life but I am so angry right now. At first I thought I really liked this place but my last few visits were very unpleasant. I used to be a regular customer here but I got tired of hearing the techs bicker about who's turn it was and how many turns they've each taken. I definitely understand that a process has to be in place but this should be seamless to the customer. When I hear this mess it makes me double think about letting someone who doesn't want to be next do my nails. Getting my nails and pedi done is a luxury not a necessity for me and if I'm spending money having these services done, I want to have a pleasant experience. The actual services vary. They are either a hit or miss just when I would think I found a tech that was doing a great job, the next time they would either cut my cuticles so bad or do a terrible job on the shaping and polishing. I was always hesitant to recommend this place to anyone and I'm not sure why I stayed so long but I finally pulled the plug after my last run in with "The Bickerson's". I asked her if she could fix the mistakes and the other lady chimed in "she did the best she could do." Im like what? 30 dollars and the customer isn't right?
