I used to play here a few years ago, and I noticed a pattern. When the owner was in the facility, there was barely anyone there. There would only be about five or six of us, and we had a great time. Then when the owner left, ALL THE CHEATERS SHOW UP. The refs barely enforce the rules and there were too many people each round. The facility (and field) is extremely small, so god forbid 25-30 people try to get in. Alright, get set. After a 2-year hiatus (due to low-life landlords kicking them out), Elite Ops Airsoft (EOA) is back and bigger. EOA has purchased their own land and built their own indoor field. Mostly the same bunkers and setup but over 4,000-sf larger. A few of us were invited to their "soft open" recently and got to experience the place. Due to more room, there's a lot more space for running which means less CQB style play. But, well lit, much better ventilation (A/C in the front area), cleaner. More bunkers and obstacles will be needed to enclose the place. The refs are experienced and ready. The place is starting with a clean-slate. This also means the speedsofters who've made a reputation for themselves for getting banned from other fields may have a place to stay, only if they don't act like, well, fill-in-the-blanks. There are some on a permanent ban list at the moment so don't get onto it. Anyways, the grand re-opening is coming-up. The field is fun and yes, rentals are available. read more

Make sure you know before you go. We had no idea how expensive this place would be or all of the rules and items needed. It was $50 a day and that includes your gun, ammo and mask. If you need more ammo you pay. Most people show up with advanced guns and full tactical gear. They have items for sale and they are expensive, but prices online are no better. Also you must use their ammo. The kids loved it but just know the cost. Also they play in games with all ages. read more

Been playing here a few years, its a good field and there were good refs, when it comes to the active ref though, they do not enforce a single rule, dont call out cheaters, so overall its a good field but if things get bad you are usually forced to take care of your own problems, as for the rentals, its a fun little adventure, better than Ss for sure. read more

Field is a little crowded which promotes far too many hits closer than 2 or 3 feet. There are a lot of regulars that come here so the refs don't enforce the limits on fps. Travel a little farther out and there much better facilities. read more

It's a good field but the refs don't enforce the rules. You can report people who don't call hits but refs will just keep giving them warnings and it doesn't stop them from cheating every game. The refs know that they are cheating and will not kick them out even after several people report them and it ruins the experience. I suspect that the cheating players are friendly with the refs so you can see that goes. This place has a lot of potential but is ruined by bad refs. I would not recommend going here if you want a fair match. Airsoft matches depend on people playing honestly. If the facility tolerates even one dishonest player then the whole system breaks down and players don't have fun. If a ref catches someone cheating that should get kicked out for the rest of the day on their first offense. 2nd offense should be a month. Zero tolerance is the way to go. read more

Well, I "used" to think this place was good but its gone downhill. Let's talk about rules enforcement. There's hardly any. 1, sometimes 2, ref in a booth above a dark floor. There's players and teams who absolutely RUIN the fun of the game by not following the rules. Heck, this place has even let employee girl-friends be judges and explain the rules (actually, they didn't). Several of us, waiting in the staging room, have spoken-up to remind the ref to talk about certain rules. Sad. The quality of play is no longer there. Teams such as Ohana cause issues and problems, e.g., no calling of shots, shooting under masks, starting fights, turning-up HPA pressure after being chrono'd, etc. Its definitely no longer a family-type of place but more for derelicts and cheaters. Its no longer enjoyable. Granted, there are people who want to have genuine fun here but the overall tone has been ruined with the lack of enforcement by the company. They ban the wrong people. Next, tech work. The tech knows his stuff and is quite knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he has shown to knows NOTHING about business and fulfilling expectations based on me having to chase him and me getting lines. I've had guns there, for repair, for a LONG time. He told me 2-3 weeks. NOT! he's repaired plenty of other guns in front of mine, yet, mine have been collecting dust despite all my communications with him and the company owner. The tech is only part-time on the weekends and not there AT ALL during the week due to another full-time job. Georgia Paintball, Airsoft Atlanta, Junkiez, and others have full-time techs that get the job done in the communicated time-frame. NOT ELITE. Basically, I have no guns at the moment. Unfortunate I "trusted" the situation and already made payment. If this place has any inkling to have a decent review, couple things would need to change: - Get rid-of the cheating teams with bad reputations, e.g., Ohana. They're reputation precedes them as cheaters, liars, disrespectful, dishonorable. Parental upbringing? - Enforce all the rules. Some people, primarily a certain team, usually turn-up their HPA pressure after getting chrono'd. Basically, they shoot "hot" on the field. Watch the players. Make sure EVERYONE is obeying the rules. - Get more refs especially on the floor. Part of enforcing the rules but need more people. - Get a full-time tech. Somebody who works on guns during the week, not just the weekends. Make sure they follow-thru when they communicate a time-frame to a customer. Sooo, time to take a break and possibly look for a new field. Great opportunity for an entrepreneur to build a quality indoor arena in Cherokee Cty. Ban those with reputations not upholding the rules. Plenty of empty warehouses. As for getting-back my guns and payment, I'm looking more at a legal recourse. read more

I agree with the others on anything that was brought up. Cheaters everywhere and they are ALL friends with the refs. If you want to play a fair airsoft game this is not the place to go. Brought it to the refs attention and felt as if it was a joke to them. To top it off, Was greeted by some very militant teenagers at the front desk who treat you with little to no respect. Great field but its riddled with cheaters. The refs don't stop the cheaters after multiple complaints and reports on them. I had to find another field where the refs actually did there job. The refs are the only reason that this isn't a 5 star review. read more

By far the worst field I have ever been to. I went in to play on a Saturday afternoon. The cashier seemed to be focused on getting me away frok the register as quickly as possible and did not seem to care about being friendly. The staging area was decent and had enough room for many players. Getting my gun checked was no problem. My main issues were with the refs. They did not explain the rules clearly nor did they answer my questions. I also had problems withmany of the players cheating which the referees didn't care about. I tried pointing out the cheaters but the refs refused to do anything. Overall, I would recommend finding another arena to play at. Elite Ops is not worth the money and time. read more
