Elite Plumbing and Remodeling was at my house for maybe 15 minutes, and in that time not a single tool was removed from their truck, no proper evaluation or attempt was made to resolve our issue, and instead they tried to upsell us immediately. Your company "commitment" is an absolute joke considering you left us to do half of the repair in the middle of the night out of desperation. Like many other reviews, we were referred to Elite Plumbing by our home warranty company. The interaction did not start out great, considering we were told by the warranty company that Elite would be able to come out same day - but we were essentially ghosted until the following week. The day that they were supposed to come, my husband had texted (the same phone number that they had initially contacted me via text from) with more details of the situation, along with photos. This information was ignored. They never responded to his message. They arrive at my house, my husband shows them a video of the problem (located in the bathrooms), and they IMMEDIATELY ask to be led to the backyard to locate the main sewage drain. After they did a very light stomp and walk around my house, they determined that the drain could not be located, and said we can pay an additional $175 for a camera to possibly locate this drain, or $1600 (STARTING) to install one, and nothing else could be done. Not once did they ever look into the bathrooms, where the issue was. Not once did they actually evaluate the issue, but had absolutely no problem on upselling us hundreds of dollars! So, not only did they completely waste their time (and mine), but my husband did half of the repair of which Elite could have done themself, and actually made more money as the repair was cheaper than the deductible. I actually found out from the warranty company that my drains should have been snaked prior to them even locating the main sewage line, of which the manager or owner was arguing with me about. Refer to your contract with Fidelity, do not argue with customers about that. Now, I am about a week without plumbing, scrambling to find an actual plumber, and was left with essentially an argument from who I am assuming is the owner or manager, who attempted to gaslight me about this entire interaction. Do not recommend, please use literally any other company than these people, who will waste your time and will only seek to upsell you rather than looking at your actual issue. read more

Elite Plumbing & Remodeling - Their "commitment" to customers, but they couldn't even look at my bathroom. - Plumbing Near Me

I give Elite Plumbing & Remodeling a ZERO stars review. They were contracted by Fidelity National Home Warranty. I have a broken water line. It's now been over 72 hours. Still no plumber. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EITHER COMPANY. FRAUDSTERS AND SCAMMERS. I have two phone numbers for Elite Plumbing & Remodeling. Both of them the mailbox was full so you can't even leave a message. Had to call the home warranty company repeatedly so they would call Elite Plumbing & Remodeling. Filed a claim at 3 pm on Thursday 9/18. Waited almost 24 hours to be told that Elite Plumbing & Remodeling. To be told they couldn't come out until Monday 9/22 between 10-2. Refused. Demanded the home warranty company find some other plumber. Saw Elite Plumbing & Remodeling's reviews and will not let them in my house. I doubt the are legal, have a license, insurance, bonding, etc. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS! read more

I had to contact the home warranty to find out who was assigned. called elite, left message. called back said they'd be out between 12-4pm. no show, no call. left several messages asking when they will come, have a disabled father living with us and not having hot water is harmful to his health. still no response. had to have a new vendor assigned. then elite, instead of contacting me, they canceled the work order. horrible customer service. if i could give zero stars I would. read more

THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE people you could ever come across. Stay away from them as much as you can. Look for someone who value your time. I wish there was an option to give negative points rather than 1 star.. they DONOT deserve any star.. just read all the reviews from the Home Warranty customers and you will see they have a trend towards longer windows to come , than no response, won't show up, won't pick up your call, won't update you on the time frame, will cancel via text. This place is an absolute joke my home warranty sent them out which makes sense that all there reviews are from ppl who have home warranty so 1.tgis place and the home warranties are both despicable they use each other to deny claims for anything and everything even if ur covered this place uses the home warranties to funnel them business they work together to deny then elite plumbing will stay on your property and try to sell you services that were denied there a scam so are all these home warranties company im not a person that writes bad reviews either check my other reviews but this place warranted bad review I told the guy he can leave now and only reason he's here is because of my warranty and that I would never hire a company that has 3 stars or lower and he argued about how I dont have the right company yet there van us the same at my house and on the website with bad reviews thats y every review they have is bad and was funneled to them by home warranties noone uses this place on their own I now know why just a SCAM!!! 2.the guy showed up late of over an hour after a 4 hour window they don't call you to let you know which already shows the have 0 customer service they don't answer the phones or call you back the office lady who set up my appointment was rude and had 0 knowlage of anything if u owned a business I would at least hire people who answer phones to at least have some knowledge of what there working for So just wanted to let everyone know this place is a absolute joke and o yeah they left my water meter box open as well as my main water barely turned on your main water should always be fully open to reduce stress on the pipes I would give negative 100 stars if I could and ill be waiting for there excuse of responses on how its all our fault like they do with everyone else on here hey elite plumbing learn customer service and maybe you'll get jobs that aren't funneled to you by scandoulus insurance companies and also maybe wont have 90% bad reviews you guys are pathetic read more

Plumbing work was completed fine for water heater replacement. However work was not inspected and permitted afterward. This company was selected by the home warranty I thankfully did not pay for. So Elite takes the money upfront as the Home Warranty also billed for the inspection and permit. Contacted multiple times about the permit status. Never got update even after leaving voice mails and using their online messaging service. Why bother advertising as 24/7 availability if you don't answer your phone at all. It's been almost a year either so time is not an issue. Either hand back the money for the permit you did not do or finish the permit process you were paid for. read more

They were sent to my house through my home warranty company for noise on my water heater. The noise was caused due to needing a new filter. The tech came out, fiddled around, DID NOT REPLACE THE FILTER and left. My water heater STILL MAKES NOISE. This is so frustrating. This was such a waste of time and money. They're completely useless read more

Unfortunately our exterior plumbing leaks in our addition was not covered by either of our home warranty companies. I Usual family plumber came and assessed, told it was a huge job, but never got back to us with an estimate. Elite arrived on time, fixed the issue in a couple of hours (lots of digging/ huge project), was very affordable, and our water pressure is now AMAZING! Definitely recommend! read more

Had a small leak coming from our hot water heater. Made a request for service through my home warranty company and was amazed that Elite contacted me and scheduled an appointment for literally the next afternoon. Mike came out and fixed the leak, no problem. After he left, we discovered that suddenly our kitchen faucet was mysteriously not working. Called them back and was told that probably turning the main water line off and on moved a clog into our kitchen faucet. They came out the very next day, on a Saturday, and went above and beyond. We had a new kitchen faucet that we were planning on installing ourselves (the timing was sort of funny), and instead of going through all the work to fix the new clog in our old faucet, Mike saved us the trouble and installed our new faucet for us, saving us a lot of labor and of course fixing the unexpected clog in the process. Couldn't be more delighted. Incredibly quick turnaround in setting appointments, Mike wore a mask the entire time, he didn't even squish my new lawn out back (just general courteousness), and not only fixed the surprise clog from the first appointment, but installed our new faucet for us, saving us an afternoon to play with our kiddo. Saving your business card for next time! Thank you, Mike and Elite Plumbing! :) read more

What great service. We just bought a home in Folsom and discovered multiple plumbing problems that our home inspection didn't notice, but that's another story. Our new home warranty company sent Elite plumbing to assess the situation and Mike Hidrogo came out quickly to check things out. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Today Mike came back to do the repairs. He arrived early in the service window and worked quickly. He answered all our questions and we liked him so much we showed him other things we want repaired that our warranty won't cover. From now on he's our go to plumber. read more

We haven't been able to use our toilets, showers or sinks in several days. We are working through our home warranty company and they gladly answered the phone for them and said they would take the job. That was 2 days ago. I called and left voice messages twice yesterday to try to get them scheduled. I called this morning, several times in a row to try to get through to a human with no luck. I am not sure how they can say they provide emergency services 24/7 but never answer the phone. I had real hope that they would be able to help us. We will never choose to use their services. UPDATE: My home warranty called them and left a message. I received a message from them & a visit same day. Quality work once they arrived. If they can get their phones worked out, then I would consider calling them directly for needs in the future. read more

I highly recommend Elite Plumbing! They just finished installing new tiling around my tub as well as adding a shower head to a tub that previously only had a tub spout. It looks amazing!!! JR did the majority of the install and he did a beautiful job! I am very happy and will definitely use these guys again. JR and the couple of other guys on the job were all friendly and they cleaned up after themselves at the end every day. I've attached photos to show how good it looks. I'm very happy with the final result! Thank you JR and Elite plumbing! read more

You are lying. I did not cuss at JR I said, "if you're not going to fix it, you can leave." And you haven't apologize for stepping on and smashing my son's toy. You're reply to my review is pathetic. And you didn't have a solution. You were being lazy. read more

I'm updating this, since the "owner" has no clue what's going on.. responds with vague apologies. They did install a pump, and guess what I was still left with basement that flooded. The woman who answers the phone, really should find a new job. The lack of customer service is almost comical. They installed the wrong size sump, so I had to have another company come out to fix the issue. And pay again for the lack of service. I would rather jump off a bridge than ever have to deal with this company again. We used them because the home warranty sent them. The temps are awful, this is the WORST customer service I've ever dealt with. And for the owner.. get up to speed on what your customers are actually complaining about. Hire competent ppl and try actually caring! read more

Incredible! JR has renewed my faith in contractors!!! He was so detailed with taking measurements for an accurate quote, asked great questions, made outstanding recommendations and was so personable! The quote described the job well (compared to Many generic and vague quotes I had received prior) and very reasonable considering the scope of work. After signing on, I was very excited when he showed up! Yes, on the date promised AND on time ready to tackle the project! He showed up every day as scheduled! I could set my clock by him! He was meticulous and kept the job site clean. Took care of all of the details! I can't say enough good things about the entire experience. He was a pleasure to work with and I am so grateful I made the decision to go with Elite Plumbing & Remodel. JR and all of his guys are awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing this company! read more

Absolute HORRID customer service. They must have new management and or new staff because as you can see the reviews for this place years ago compared to now are complete opposite from each other. I will tell you from my experience why you SHOULD NOT USE THEIR BUSINESS. HEED MY WARNING. 1.) Upon making an appointment they informed the plumber would show up Saturday between 10am- 2pm. The plumber ended up showing up an hour early and after calling to see if he could come back, he was already way out of region. And the lady on the phone stated she actually said it was 8am- 2pm and that since it was a Saturday we'd have to call them back on Monday to make an appointment. That's three more guaranteed days of freezing cold water. 2.) We have a dog in the house, and upon the plumber's arrival not once did the dog hear the plumber knock on the door or he would have woken up. Yet according to the plumber he "banged on the door". Which concludes they make EXCUSES instead of finding solutions, which can be confirmed from the other Yelp reviews on here. There seems to be a downtrend of popularity with this company and unfortunately we know why because it has happened to us too. 3.) Lastly and most appalling was the woman on the phone. I could hear from the very beginning she had no regard for her customers. We tried to explain to her our situation and the entire time- WHILE we were talking- you could hear her say "uh huh. Yeah okay." She wasn't even listening nor did she try to understand where we're coming from! And then she proceeded to make her excuses (the plumber said he rang the doorbell and banged on the door. Which is a lie because no one heard the doorbell and it is VERY distinctive. And the dog didn't even hear him knock). She then told us that she'd give us a call right back when trying to find an open available appointment, but we never received a call back. Mind you we were very polite on the phone despite her snarky disrespectful attitude and we waited a good amount of time before wanting to call back to just check in and get an update. But, you guessed it, they aren't answering. Do NOT be a victim of their terrible service!! read more

Honestly surprised by the good reviews for this company. They treated me like warm garbage. First they lost the email from my insurance company authorizing them to come out. Then they told me "oh, I'll get authorization to replace from the insurance company first thing tomorrow." They didn't start until two days later. Then they wouldn't return my phone calls and I got to return to old-timey dishwashing by heating water on the stove. Then they missed their appointment window by an hour and half because they were picking up the replacement parts (that they told me they had picked up the day before). I have never felt so lied to and disrespected. If you had to heat 12 pots of water to wash in a luke warm bath, you'd feel the same. When they finally did show up I just wanted them to get out. It is galling to be forced to pay money to a crappy company because your insurance company picked them. read more

You only get one chance to make a first impression. So far it's terrible. Our time is our most valuable thing. It's one thing to be late but it's another to not show up and not even have the common courtesy of a simple phone call to say you won't show up!! Treating customers like trash will eventually catch up with any company. All we can do is warn others including the home warranty. Once home warranty starts losing customers they'll switch vendors. Don't make my mistake and get faked with the 4 star rating. I rate my experience a minus 10. read more

Elite Plumbing & Remodeling and their plumber, Mike are awesome! The person that I spoke to on the telephone yesterday to schedule an appointment was very polite and helpful. He worked me into his plumber's schedule for today,Thursday afternoon which I really appreciate. Mike, the plumber called me on both my cell phone and my land line to let me know that he is heading my way from the Rocklin, Ca area and gave me an ETA which I appreciated. Mike was very professional, polite, understanding, knowledgeable and extremely skilled. He looked at the gas flex line that was connected to the dryer and the gas valve on the gas line and knew exactly what he needed to do to reconnect the dryer gas flex line to the gas pipe valve so that it didn't leak any longer. Mike took his time and did what he needed to do in order to reconnect my dryer flex gas line to the gas valve on the gas pipe and then turned the gas vale back on for me. I ran the dryer for a few minutes while Mike was still here and it worked great. I really appreciate the exceptional customer service that I received from Elite Plumbing & Remodeling and their plumber, Mike today and I highly recommend Elite Plumbing & Remodeling to anyone that needs plumbing services. They are AWESOME!!! Thank you Elite Plumbing & Remodeling for a job well done today. read more

This company was sent through our home warranty, so I can't speak to prices. We had a clogged shower and a leaking toilet. Company called us to schedule a service window and was able to work around my school pick up time. Arrived on time. Fixed the shower same day. Toilet needed a part, which he didn't have on hand so he asked if he could come back between 8-12 the following day. I had errands to run so I asked him to call me in the morning to let me know when he would be arriving. He did and came by first thing. I appreciated that they gave me reasonably narrow windows (not all day) for the service call, and that they were willing to work with me on timing a little bit, as I am forever picking up or dropping off someone. read more

Update 3.25.16 The owner called me and apologized for the work that was not completed and reimbursed us for the service thru home warranty and extra for the parts I had to buy to do the work myself. I was impressed by his response and the fact that he wanted his customers to be happy. He kept his word and we received the check in the mail. I updated my review because the manager/owners response had caught me off guard and really wants the business to do well and he deserves 5 stars... The worker and my experience still has a one star so an overall 3 stars for the business. So hopefully the worker was having a bad day and next time we do business with Elite the experience will be much better. read more

Christian came out today on an emergency call through our home warranty. This was the best plumbing service I ever experienced. He was competent, thorough, and answered all my questions so I could understand them. Explained what was and wasn't covered (major wall damage from leak), but fixed the leak and Garbage disposal quickly and promptly. They called back quickly upon making initial appointment, then even called and asked if he could come slightly earlier, got right to work, and cleaned up the mess that was inevitable. He showed us how to turn off the main for safety reasons, polite and can't say enough good about him, was very impressed and highly recommend. Work took less time than expected and I did not feel like I was being taking advantage of or talked down to like I have experienced with other companies in past. I was offered a 1-3 pm service window. Technician arrived at 3:45 pm. Home Warranty Company sent this company out for a clogged shower drain. The technician tried to clear the drain but was not able to accomplish this task. He tried from both showers and still could not get the drain cleared. He made a huge mess in the process. He informed me that the drain could not be cleaned from the shower and needed to be cleared from the roof but his company does not do that. It's a single story house and not a big deal. His diagnosis is to replace some of the piping under the house and estimated $450! Technician leaves and fails to put shower drain covers back on, leaves mess everywhere, and moves on to his next job. In the meantime, I still have a clogged drain, now a huge mess to clean up, and wasted money spent on Home Warranty Deductible. I had another company out 2 years ago for the same issue. They cleared the drains from the roof and everything worked fine. Elite Plumbing suggests a $450 repair because they will not get on the roof! I would not recommend this company. read more

Our first experience with Elite Plumbing was a call out for a repair covered under our home warranty. I've dealt with a few plumbers and Elite Plumbing was a breath of fresh air. On time, called before arrival, put booties on before coming into the house, competent, great clean up, and above all, courteous and professional! We were so impressed with the home warranty work, that we also used them for a recent bathroom remodel! Our bathroom was originally built with 1990s fiberglass tub and surround, vinyl floor and fluorescent lighting. At the end of the remodel, we ended up with; porcelain coated steel tub, with porcelain tile surround, porcelain tile floor (which looks like distressed wood), new cultured marble sink/countertop, and canned LED lighting. As with any project; there were delays, due to supplier issues; but overall we were very pleased with the results. Reasonably priced, on time, great clean up and very pleasant staff (no matter who helped JR for the day-most of his staff are relatives). read more

I had a tenant call and said their toilet was clogged. This is every landlords worst nightmare. The tenants had spent an hour plunged and snaking the toilet, with no success. I went over and spent another hour, but was unsuccessful. I decided to get professional help. I requested a quote from Elite Plumbing on a Friday, and they responding within 1 hour and gave me a rate that was reasonable. They were able to schedule a 2 hour window for me the next day on a Saturday morning! So far so good, communication was quick and to the point. I asked them to give me a text when they were on their way, and they said no problem. Saturday morning came, and I got a text from them saying they were 20 minutes away. They showed up at the house at the estimated time. They spent an hour snaking the toilet, but was unsuccessful. They told me they would need to remove the toilet and snake from the pipe, and this would most likely be successful. This was additional time and a new quote. Again, the price was very reasonable. After another hour, I got a call that removing the toilet had worked. The tech explained what he had to do, and provided some tips for the future.
