I had to hire someone to fix a few of the items done by his subcontractors after the job was completed. I work in construction, and finding a good, detail-oriented contractor who treats your job as their own is quite challenging. If you choose to work with Richard, it's important to manage your expectations. I tend to be very detail-oriented, and when I read the other review about him on here I almost did not to hire him. However, after working with him, I wanted to provide more detailed feedback to help determine if he would be the right fit for you. If you are more easygoing and don't prioritize details, you may find that he suits your needs. I would agree with the other reviewer on here that after the job is finished, it may be difficult to get a response if any issues arise. I used Richard for my pergola, fireplace, grill, and bar.
