Isn't the point of the copay and his insurance is so that he doesn't have to pay another bill afterwards? And then when he tried to get an itemized receipt, the agent over the phone refused to provide it for him stating he has to stop by the clinic because they don't do it over the phone. Which is very inconvenient having to take time off from work to drive extremely far for his receipt. All I'm hoping is that when we do go to the front desk, they will be able to provide his itemized bill properly right then and there, because otherwise, this would be extremely unprofessional.

They are not accepting any new patients so I have to find another PCP at a completely different practice with no help from P3 at all. They changed their insurance policies but are not consistent in their messaging so I have gotten conflicting information from multiple agents. I feel bad dropping this place down to 1 stars but this is no way to treat patients. Prior to Heather Harvey leaving I was very happy with my service here and thought this facility was well run. Now I'm scrambling to find an alternative place while healthcare staffing is already a challenge. Very disappointing.

Since then I have learned the practice will be switching to a concierge model in January 2026. If the current level of service is any indication, I see no reason to pay extra for it. It often took several days to receive a call back, and I had to track down my own results -- something no patient should have to do. A "concierge" experience should mean better access and communication, not less. There are plenty of doctors in this city offering concierge care, but before asking patients to pay more, the basics of follow-up, communication, and respect for patients' time should already be in place. I also think that customer service should be respected (my two cents). The phone service is absolutely terrible. Please let's be kind, be compassionate and be patient

She switched to Canoe Health, which I never received any notice of, and she no longer had a local number had to go thru the Canoe Health switchboard, which was VERY UNPLEASANT. Now Canoe Health has been purchased by Center Wealth!!! again no notice except an vm cancelling a previously made appt, stating the new practice would ONLY be taking MediCal patients without ANY 2ndary insurance! I mean seriously have you EVER heard of anything so ridiculous? so a call was made to Center Wealth and they don't know who Dr. Chuang is and want to assign me to a new Dr. at a new location....WTH? So I wait a week and callback after being sent from Center Wealth, to Canoe then back to Center Wealth I get an appt. Walk onto appt and get told the appt had been cancelled, and i should have gotten an email. So now I need to come back 2morrow~SERIOUSLY? so IRRITATED all this for a 10 min appt for Rx renewal? They transferred me to the new patient department since my last visit was in 2021! pending if they do accept UHC. The hold was never picked up and I gave up after the second 20 minutes hold! Dr. Chuang always seems to be in a hurry. Each patient is entitled to 15 minutes of her time and each visit is for one consultation. I've been her patient for 10 years and was able to overlook these uncaring characteristics of a family Doctor. Looks like it's meant to be. Not going to miss this clinic especially the rude staff!
