Have been here several times and really enjoy this salon! Atmosphere: very inviting and fun! All the ladies that work here are hip and fun to chat to. Also very professional and listen to what you want. Service: wonderful staff who are very hard working take their time to do your hair and listen to your requests. I see Laurel for my hair cuts and color. So does my husband and my son. When my nearly bald 2 year old son grows more hair then he will come here too. Laurel is not only exceptionally good at what she does but very informative and funny! She explains thoroughly about the process and offers advice and tips in a very easy going way. I hate pushy hair stylists! If you like getting pampered at a hair salon this is it. You'll be offered head/ shoulder massages and hand massages while you wait for your hair to process. I've referred two of my girlfriends and they both love Laurel's service. I would highly recommend checking this salon out. read more

I ventured out from the Valley, through highway construction to reach Elite Salon and Spa. After a sort of sour start, it ended up worth the drive. My technician was Gwen and although she was late for our appointment because of the construction - she got down to business immediately and gave me a wonderful facial. Her technique was perfect for me - just the right pressure and movement. She didn't talk - yeah! So I could just relax. The products they use - I've blanked the name - are all organic and smell wonderful. Gwen told me that the products aren't even made until they place an order! How's that for fresh? Next was a pedicure. This was in a separate room from the salon area, but you could watch since it there was a window to see out, but the salon people couldn't see in. No massage chairs, just a big bowl with stones, but a nice massage, masque and parafin dip were included. Their description states they are a day spa, which is true for the service, but not so much for the atmosphere. Even though the facial room was in a room and had a heavy door, I could hear every comment in the salon area - and you know how salons are! So if you are looking for the serenity and silence of a spa - this isn't the place. If you are wanting a thorough facial - this is an excellent choice. read more

Wonderful salon! The ladies who work there are so nice. It's a warm and inviting shop with complementary coffee, tea or water. They cover all your salon needs: cuts, color, mani, pedi, waxing, facials, etc.... I go and see Janene for haircuts and my wife gets a cut & color and facials as well. I have been getting my hair done here for nearly 5 years. This is one of those places where all the stylists are excellent. However, I have had Laurel and Janene do my hair by default. They are both outstanding for color and cuts. You also get a head or hand massage w/your hair which is sooooo luxurious. Very convenient for EagleRidge, Qualchan, and Ridge at Hangman neighborhoods. No need to venture up to the South Hill for hair. read more

One of the male owners of this spa, called this evening at 6pm to raise his voice at me and ask me as a business owner why I felt it necessary to swear at his employee. And then to explain that the 24 hour notice is not their policy but groupon's and poor them they only receive $8.00 from that groupon. I then tried to tell him as he raised his voice to talk over me, for $8.00 as a business owner I would have made it right for the potential customer. I eventually told him, I was through talking with him, I was not going to argue with him, and that in itself was poor business and hung up. Per Groupon's Legal it states the Merchant must allow you to redeem this voucher for the product or service specified. Which was $100.00 worth of spa services, including a massage. When I originally called I was told sorry they no longer are doing the massage she's booked out to December. So from there it has gone downhill. My suggestion to Elite is you had the option to set the total number of groupons to sell, I would gladly have paid the extra $8.00 to you had you bothered to explain instead of having the rude, all-mighty attitude.
