Although the entertainment was not needed for very long because there was no wait time! I appreciated the complimentary water after leaving mine in the car. From check-in to check-out, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and personable. The hygienist was amazing with my two year old son! She explained every step, sang to him, and made the entire experience fun while also providing me with helpful information. Dr. Stephanie was just as wonderful, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything with both knowledge and genuine care. The entire office was very clean and every staff member was approachable and welcoming. Such a positive experience for both of us!

This is our second visit with our 4 year old son and the experience has been beyond amazing. My son got a little scared getting x rays done for the first time but he managed in the end, partly because the whole office was supportive and rooting for him. I was so grateful. The office is spotless, convenient to get to with easy parking and elevator access and 100% directed towards the comfort of children and parents alike. I am so grateful to have found such great quality of care so close to home for those of us living in south dade. Highly recommend!

Beware of these people! They will lie to you and tell you your child needs to be hospitalized…read morebecause they have way too many cavities (20+ cavities). This was the second time around. I was stupid enough to believe them the first time but when I refused the 2nd time, they avoided putting her on the schedule to do the work in office. Thankfully I found an excellent trusting doctor (Tooth Fairy-Land on US1) who assured me her teeth were not that bad (only 6 cavities) and that the work can be done in two sessions. I hope no one ever trusts these people enough to put their child through unnecessarily hospitalization. In addition, their front desk personnel run the office like a government building (no customer service at all).

From the moment I stepped in I was automatically overwhelmed. The waiting room was extremely packed to a point where people were standing around. I arrived to my appointment on time and waited about 2 hours before finally being seen. My 3 daughters were seen one by one and each them were very nervous. They have always done fine during their regular dental cleanings and they were all crying after their cleaning was done. Then I spoke to the doctor about the xrays and was told 2 of my daughters have cavities that needed to be filled. I was told my oldest with the cavity didn't have the procedure covered by the insurance(odd) and I needed to pay close to $300. Then I was told my youngest daughter(3) needed to be put under general anesthesia at the hospital just to have her front tooth filled. Which I thought was very excessive. I proceeded to schedule my youngest appointment at the hospital even did all the necessary paper work and clearance forms. It was the day of the procedure At the hospital when I arrived at 6:00am only to be told that the dentist never submitted the authorization for the procedure. Fed up, I decided to switch dentist and get a second opinion. TURNS OUT my oldest daughter didn't have any cavities but the other place wanted to charge me almost $300 to get the "cavity" filled and my Youngest did not need to be put under general anesthesia for a minor filling. "The Little Tooth" has lost 3 clients and I will always speak horribly about this place and the experience they put me through.

It took a little over 2 hours, but was done very gently and professionaly, with an incredible outcome. I am.extremely happy with the new dentist I found, and highly recommend him to everyone who is either afraid of the dentist or just dont know who to trust... I am so happy with the service, experience, staff and doctor that I am taking my own intuitive to recommend this group: Dental Center at CountryWalk Dr. Jorge Abril 15721 SW 152 Street Miami, FL 33187 305-233-3335 They have 5 dentists, including a pediatric dentist. I recommend this group, and Dr. Abril especially, based on the outstanding experiences I had.

I am writing this review to share my personal experience at my son's dental appointment today, and…read moreI sincerely hope other parents read this before bringing their children here. Based on what happened, I personally would not recommend this facility for pediatric care. My son is three years old, freshly three, and this was his first visit with this particular doctor (a white male with medium-length light brown hair). From the moment he came in, I felt he lacked warmth, patience, or any effort to build trust with my child. If you work with children--especially toddlers--your priority should be helping them feel safe. That never happened today. I explained that the previous dentist in the same office had advised against fluoride treatment for now because my son can't spit well yet. The doctor responded in a way that made me feel like he thought I was lying, saying something like, "I've never heard him say no to fluoride for any kids." It was dismissive, unprofessional, and set the tone for everything that followed. The worst part of the appointment--what truly left me shaken--was how physically forceful he and the assistant were with my son. This is my experience, but it genuinely felt aggressive and insensitive. My son is not a misbehaved child; he just gets scared when he feels pressured. Instead of trying to comfort him or gain his trust, they pushed forward with the exam while he was clearly terrified. And I want to make this very clear: I was not just standing there watching. I was underneath my son, physically holding him. I was alone--no partner, no extra hands, no emotional support--just me trying to keep my child calm while two adults leaned over both of us. I think I went into a state of shock. I kept thinking, Is this really happening? My maternal instinct was screaming, but the situation escalated so fast, and I felt trapped with two people on top of us pushing forward with the procedure. Near the end, the doctor leaned over to grab a tool from the tray, and from my perspective, he put a significant amount of his body weight onto my son's head. My son is three. That level of force on such a tiny child was horrifying to witness, especially from a professional who should know better. Then he actually yelled at my son to "stop." Yelling at a terrified toddler during his first dental experience is unacceptable. That's when I said, "Okay, we're done." He replied, "Yeah, we're done," and then he turned to me and said something that stunned and offended me: that I needed to "reinforce bad behavior." He doesn't know my son. He doesn't know how I parent. To say something so judgmental, while we were still trying to process what had just happened, was completely out of line. When the appointment ended, I walked out shaking. My son was crying. I was crying. I called the office immediately to file a complaint. I felt violated as a parent, and I felt like my son had been violated as a patient. The force used, in my experience, was absolutely inappropriate for a three-year-old and could have caused harm physically or emotionally. My son's first dental experience should not have involved being held down, pressured, yelled at, and having metal tools forced into his mouth while two adults leaned over us. No child deserves that. No parent should have to go through that alone. For these reasons, I personally cannot recommend this office for pediatric dental care. My experience was traumatic, and other parents deserve to be warned.

After my lactation consultant suspected a lip and tongue tie for my daughter, we were able to get in the schedule in less than 48 hours for an evaluation and correction.
