The snack bar is well stocked with just about anything you want, but I secretly think it is a trap as my kids have talked me into something each time we have been there. The referees have been fantastic, especially for the little ones being patient and explaining what the rules are and having fun while they do it. It would be nice if there was a bit more time between games as you are being stared at in the stands by the next games parents while you wait for your kiddos to come off the court. The only drawback of this location is getting back onto Industrial after the game, especially if both this center, the one across the street, and the soccer facility are all having events. It would be nice if the businesses worked with the City and County to put in a traffic light there to make this a bit easier.

In our play here however, we have found the backdrop of windows around the courts to be a safety concern. I would highly suggest more padding on the glass portions of the facility. Courts with windows behind the basketball hoops have metal mullions that are very dangerous, we have seen players break their arm on the mullion and other players get very hurt from slamming up against them. My other request would be to rotate the refs per game per court, I have 2 sons, 2 different teams that played back to back on court 5 from 2-6 and they had the same refs the entire time, both age groups were very physical and the refs called very little in fouls, 3 in the key, sportsmanship conduct. They seemed tired. Kudos for getting to play consistently with challenging teams just a few items that would improve the experience and safety.

Also has a small area for weightlifting and some bays with large lcd screens for passing/dribbling drills. We got to use the shooting machines while doing a little competition and I really enjoyed the system. Each shot gets analyzed and you can see if you had the right amount of arc or if your shot was too deep/shallow and left/right. I really liked getting that feedback after each shot and it seems like it would make for much more productive training sessions compared to just regular shooting.

I would not recommend this camp based on our experience…read more My 11-year-old son repeatedly complained of severe stomach pain throughout the day while attending camp. He even sat out several drills because he wasn't feeling well and gave the staff my phone number, asking them to call me. Despite multiple complaints and my son specifically requesting that I be contacted, no one called. When he got home, I could immediately tell something was seriously wrong. We took him to the emergency room, where he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and required emergency surgery. As a parent, it's terrifying to think that my child was asking for help and no one notified me. Had his condition continued to worsen without medical attention, the outcome could have been much more serious. What was equally disappointing was how this situation was handled afterward. When I spoke with the owner, Ron (or Roy), I found him to be dismissive, condescending, and lacking empathy. At no point did I feel that there was genuine concern for what my son had gone through. Even more surprising, no one from the facility reached out in the days following to check on my son after his emergency surgery. My younger son was also registered to attend camp that week, and no one contacted us to see if he would be attending or to ask how our family was doing. Because of this experience and the lack of communication, I chose not to send him. I understand that staff are not medical professionals, but they are responsible for communicating with parents when a child repeatedly complains of significant pain or asks for a parent to be contacted. A simple phone call could have made all the difference. I hope this review encourages the camp to improve its communication policies and take children's health concerns more seriously so another family doesn't have to experience what ours did.

It's good for a quick and easy approach and putt practice. They are all rather easy par 2 shots, but I did get my first Ace ever here. If you do the H Clarke Elementary 9 hole (par 2, but way more technical) course down the road you can make it 18 holes that way. Both courses are quick and easy fun and great practice if you are in the area, especially if Rocklin Is overwhelmed or running League games.

Levy Park is one of many children's parks in Folsom that is extremely easy to access from the…read moreWillow Creek Bike Trail. An auxiliary path behind the park leads directly down to the trail. The park is shaped like an L, with the vertical part of the L being the basketball court, and the horizontal part being a small field and medium sized playground. The playground features multiple slides, tunnels, ladders, fireman's poles, and 4 swings (2 toddler & 2 regular). It's very similar to the main playground at City Park, but slightly better. Several picnic tables are set up under the shade of planted trees, and a large barbecue pit is available. Dogs are allowed on leashes. Posted park hours are from 7am until one hour after sunset. Video surveillance is in effect 24/7. Levi Park sits on a bluff above a valley that was historically used for gold dredging. Educational signs in the park show pictures of dredges, but it's still hard to imagine one sitting in that valley. From the back of the park, looking down, one can see railroad tracks which are still used on rare occasions. The Willow Creek Bike Trail actually runs right next to them. From down below, this bluff is one of my favorites for photographing wildflowers in spring. In addition to the multiple benches set up around the playground, several benches are set up just in front of the bluff, facing the view.

They attend group training once a week, but if it were up to them they'd love to be there every day if they could. As a homeschooling family, I love that group training gets them rubbing shoulders with other kids and allows them to get some "formal" teaching from someone other than mom and dad. Bonus: our charter school allow us to pay for training using school vouchers. All the couches are really great - they know how to work with kids, how to push them, yet encourage them, and they're just all really easy-going and fun to be around. I love that my kids leave class sweaty, with flushed cheeks, and sore muscles... Proves that they're engaged the whole time and it's not just an hour of babysitting I'm dropping them off for.
