I would say That's It Salon , in Miami shores is the BEST salon around. I wanted to get a hair cut with layers , Ricardo cut my hair and he did great. Made an appointment for a gel manicure on Thanksgiving day with Jessica. When I arrived 5 minutes before, she wasn't there. I was told she was getting coffee at the Starbucks next door. I waited about 15 minutes & when I sat down in front of her, she said she didn't have enough time to remove the dip I had on my nails AND do my manicure because she had an appointment after me. The woman who scheduled the appointment didn't ask if I had anything on my nails, but not all places do so I figured it shouldn't be an issue ? It's a nail appointment? Also if you run a little overtime, people are usually okay with it. I have no problem when my regular nail guy runs overtime with his previous appointment. This is pretty standard. I just left and won't be rescheduling with her. Also they don't really have a vast variety of polish choices. I'm a big glitter girl though so maybe I'm bias. Tried the place out because it's close to my house, likely won't be going back at least not for nails. Super unprofessional on her part. read more

I'm giving this salon a 1 because I am upset about my experience! I had never been here but it's close to my house and seeing it had 4 stars I called to see if they had last minute appt for a trim. I was told on the phone for a trim for shoulder length hair was $75. I was in a bind I was going out of town and my stylist at another salon was not available. I arrived on time and met the stylist who was very friendly. I had trepidations as I have never strayed from my stylists in fear of a bad cut! The stylist took me to her chair and I showed her the picture on my phone of the cut I wanted as it was about 1-2 inches shorter than my hair and already in a Bob. My hair is fine and straight the same texture as the picture. The stylist glanced at the picture and in Spanish said yeah yeah that's nice. I told her I want it to touch the top of my shoulders. She took it upon herself to do her own wrong interpretation of a very clear picture I showed her with my same hair type and texture. I wanted a long Bob up to shoulders and ended up with chin length rear stack short Bob. I can't even do a short pony tail or clip my hair. Since I was new here and nervous I was watching carefully, I noticed her from beginning snipping and snipping and I kept showing her the photo with the length and told her I think you're going too short and she started rambling and talking really fast and kept on saying don't worry it is that same cut, and that she's been doing hair a long time. She said wait till I dry it and I told her I don't need a blow out and she insisted it had to be blowed so I thought it would be complimentary or part of the $75. When she started blow drying she said wait you're going to love it and I told her it's nice but it's not what I asked for and she flat out starts rambling like talking to herself reassuring herself it's pretty and nice (I thought I was about to lose it!) I finally said in a loud voice stop saying it's the same when it isn't and I showed another stylist my phone to regain my sanity and told him look how can she say it's the same! He agreed and told her yes the cut in the picture is longer but your hair looks beautiful. She was a shorter lady and bopped me a few times with her blow dryer while trying to get it to the other side. a bit rough. I was mad, in a bind, and blame myself for this stupid mistake, never stray from your regular hair stylist! When I went to che k out the front girl said its $75 but the stylist came over and said its $100 - 50 cut 50 blow out and said I'm giving you a dis punt and hurried away. I asked the cashier well you told me $75 and she says $100 what is it? The girl said "I thought it was $75. Horrible experience! I came here cause it's close to the house and I have to leave town and my regular lady is a bit far and was booked. I should've followed my extinct from the second I sat in the chair I should've gotten up and left. read more

I have only had pedicures, but they do an awesome job! The space is very cute, everyone is friendly, and the prices are fair. The fact that they offer online booking is a huge plus for me. Even though I use regular polish, I typically can go three weeks between appointments, which is longer than anywhere else I have been. Such a great addition to our neighborhood!! read more

I walked in to this salon as it's near my house; no one greeted me for several minutes. The women by the door sent me to the desk, where the gentleman was looking at hair extensions with another employee. After several minutes he acknowledged me and was very polite, and as i was a walk in-i knew i may have to wait. He asked another girl if she could take my Appointment she ignored him twice until he pointed out that i was standing right there. Overall --the acrylic fill was good however the entire staff was on their phones, confused and not sure how to help guests. I will go back to the nail place further from my house.
