Despite never agreeing to any terms or services, nor actually selecting Mr Degroot as my advisor in the end, they continue to insist I received advice and owe a ludicrous $750 for the meeting and emails. I received multiple calls a month or so later confirming that I still lived at the old address (I had put in a formal change directly with Brads office), and wanting to know whatever happened with the home I was going to purchase (I had purchased it already and spoke with a woman from that office who confirmed that she got all of that processed.) In Brad's defense he was not a part of these phone calls, but was a part of the cancelling phone call in which he got a very snotty attitude and hung up abrubtly.
