This review is two years too late, but as they say, worth the wait!…read more I first found Campbell's Automotive Repair Service after blowing a gasket head and a radiator, ouch, and being told by my "regular mechanic" that he didn't want to work on my truck as it would have been too labor intensive and too expensive. ok..... This then lead me to referencing AAA's local Mechanic's preferred listing and Campbell's Automotive. And since then, I have been a very happy Campbell's client for three years and could not be happier! Gasket head and radiator repair still going strong, and for a lot less than I was quoted elsewhere. Exceptional customer service, trustworthy, up-front and honest, economical, alerting as to future needed maintenance, and above all, they do fantastic work! What more could you ask for with a mechanic? Other than they are ALL really nice people and care about and for their customers! I have my new mechanic for a long time to follow! Thank you to everyone at Campbell's, you have a very satisfied customer!

They have helped me out so many time to get back in the road. I also appreciate that when it can time for a major repair on my Porsche, they felt that I would be better off going to the dealer for the repair instead. They absolutely could have just taken my business, but they knew what was best for the car. How honest can you be? And! They still helped us with the paperwork for our warranty company. I will go here with every car repair. Highly recommend.

I asked who they would recommend, and they recommended Pete's. They were able to complete my smog check in a timely manner. Very courteous and professional. The second time I was leaving the gas station and the air went completely out of my tire. As I was in a panic, the air ran out just as I hit Pete's. They got me in fairly quickly and were able to determine was punctured the tire- they patched it up and sent me on my way. Next time I need any repairs, I am coming to Pete's!

Took our family car (Lexus SUV) in cause we needed brakes swapped. He suggested we change out our…read morethe rotors as well. I asked if he checked the rotors and if they are okay. He didn't really answer and said "we just always suggest it". Shouldn't a mechanic check and swap what needs to be swapped rather than just suggesting a change? I would assume so. Anyways, we got rotors and brakes changed cause my wife uses this car every once in a blue moon and I care for my family. I also asked if they do alignment. He told me that they have a state of the art alignment machine they JUST got in. Expensive, but state of the art. Okay, whatever let's do it! A few weeks later when we finally use the car, we see the e-brake light stay on after releasing the e-brake. I called it in and they said to bring the car in. The older man who works there gave my wife a complete attitude when she took the car in. Even though I feel the e-braking was probably linked to the changing of the brakes, they still charged me for it. Ok. Whatever. What really upset me is that I drove the car a few days after that (again, we rarely drive this car, it's a backup car for us) and the alignment is pulling slightly to the right. We took a mini road trip and the entire time I'm literally pulling the car to the left. What?! What happened to State of the Art alignment?? I would take it back and argue to be fixed but after what my wife told me, I don't want to go back and deal with an angry old man when they should have tested everything prior to giving it to us. They would probably charge me again for the alignment to fix it... I'll say one thing that they are good at. They do clean work. The younger gentleman is extremely kind. We don't live far away and I was hoping this was going to be my go-to mechanic, but at this point, I don't know...
