One of my rubber exhaust hangers broke, and I had to get it replaced. Pricing was, ehhh... for my specific job. All that was needed was to slide on a rubber hanger on a hook, and it took 10 minutes max. $80 labor and $17 for the part. Although, I get it. That's the going rate. I have replaced it myself before, but now I have some physical limitations due to a disability and had no other choice but to get it serviced. I went to this place on June 30th, 2025 for an exhaust leak. They replaced my catalytic converter ($570.07 paid). I went back October 28, 2025 for an the same issue. They did not remember me, because this time they wanted to replace the whole exhaust line composed of two mufflers (both new, one that they had previously changed), plus service one of the manifolds in the engine for the amazing low price of $1508.31. They said the would order the exhaust line ($822.00), but they would need a deposit, they were asking for $800.00 deposit to order the part and do the work needed later. Unfortunately, I trusted them, since they had done previous work, and gave them a $400.00 deposit to order part. My spouse told me to get a second opinion, which I did. The second opinion mechanic said that the exhaust line was new, and the only thing that needed attention was one one side of the manifolds. That's when I realized that I was getting SCAMMED by MORSE MUFFLER, avoid this family at all cost, and if you do consider having them do expensive work, get a SECOND opinion, you won't regret it. Now they are refusing to return my $400.00 deposit, saying that they already ordered the part. I have filed a complaint with my credit card, and after finishing up here in YELP, reporting them to BAR, and all other review sites. read more

TL;DR - great service, super quick, and very fair pricing! Problem: Audible rattling from car on idle, faint smell of exhaust fumes. I went in to Morse Muffler because my muffler was hanging on by a (rusted) thread. I called and we agreed on a time. I showed up, left my car with them, and walked over to a nearby coffee shop (shoutout to The Ugly Mug Coffee House) and worked on my laptop. About an hour later, they called me back and they explained that my muffler was practically broken off from the rust. Makes sense, because I bought my car from New Jersey and the salt from the roads will just eat at your car's undersides. Anyway, they replaced the pipe that connected the muffler to the rest of the car and now everything's in tip-top shape. Thanks guys! read more

If you own a Prius or Toyota = Catalytic Converter theft. Morse Muffler sells, installs and has Cat shields in stock. They cover the Catalytic converter. I wish I would have installed one a long time ago. It costs 1/3 of my insurance deductible that I now have to pay. I would not be out a lot of money and time. The problem is more complicated by lack of parts. The Catalytic Converter theft issue is so severe that there is a 5-month waiting list to get a new one. Yes, it is covered but I have to wait 4-5 months just to get the part. This is warning to anyone who is on the fence about this. I waited and waited because I said, "Nothing has happened in 8 years so....." Don't join out club of Cat theft. The theft happened right in front of our house. It took 2 minutes. I was yelling while trying to get out of the doors 10 seconds before they left. The Catalytic Converter was gone and bumper was also damaged. Tim is the owner. He is pictured next to the Milwaukee Sawzall. He got me in in two days. Great guy with a wealth of knowledge about prevention. There is also a Chain (in the pictures) that can be attached to Gen 3 or Gen 2 Prius for extra protection. Look at my pictures to see the Cat shield. It covers the front and the back so it would take a LOT of time to get at the Catalytic Converter. Tom is the installer who took the time to let me know about damage that mice had done to some wires under the car. He covered them and cleaned the area. They were able to get our repairs done quick as well as adding the converter shield to help prevent another theft. Morse Muffler also worked directly with our insurance company. I wish I could give this place a zero star. I took my 1972 motorcycle mufflers to Morse Muffler to patch and weld three rotten spots. Stupid Tim the owner dented a couple of spots on both mufflers during the process. Later on, he told me to bring the mufflers and I fixed the dents. The stupid guy messed up the whole thing. He has no remorse and nor apologetic. I am not recommending this place at all stay away from this place. read more

My review is long overdue but it's currently 3:30 AM as I write this and I still have my catalytic converter after attempt of theft. When my converter was stolen originally in November of 20, I had it repaired at Morse. I received impeccable, friendly and timely service. It was suggested that an extra safety mechanism be added to my car to assure this never happen again and THANK GOODNESS they did! I awoke this morning to the sound of my poor car being sawed apart by those vile thieves, I ran out half asleep to catch them. Unfortunately I did not get a license plate but alas my muffler is still attached to my car! It makes the hideous noise when I turn it on, and I'll have to have some repairs, but I won't have to endure the sting of purchasing another piece for my beloved Prius. Go to Morse, don't look anywhere else. You won't find a better bundle from a local guy who cares about you and your safety like a sweet grandpa would. read more

I came in yesterday to have a used full bolt on exhaust installed on my Infiniti. Turns out the exhaust was for a 350z, so they had to extend the dual piping about 8". It turned out to be an almost full custom job, considering that not only was it for a different variation of my car, but the mufflers had been altered by the previous owner. I don't think any other muffler shop in the valley would've taken the time to ensure that it was installed properly. Spacers were installed to make sure that every part of the exhaust cleared, new hangers were welded on, and numerous adjustments were made to ensure the best fit possible with solid welds. He even fixed one of my o2 sensors for me. The job turned to be twice as much and twice as long as originally anticipated, but you definitely get what you pay for. read more

came here for my mother's Prius catalytic converter replacement : a couple other reviews said Morse was slightly more expensive than others, but i called 3 other muffler shops and compared prices around only to find out Morse had the best price! Morse also used an OEM Toyota catalytic converter and asked for a lower price, while the other places offered aftermarket Magnaflow options because the Toyota catalytic converters are at a national shortage/backorder. (i did have to wait about 5 weeks for it to be available, but i waited because i prefer OEM. i had Morse install a temporary test pipe so my mom could drive it around in the mean time while waiting for the shipment.) I also asked then to install a Cat converter shield/protector so it doesn't get stolen again. While the other shops offered a nasty looking craft-your-own fabricated metal weld cage over it, Morse used a legit CatShield.com protector that looks clean like a factory splash guard and costed way less! the only down side to Morse would be their bookkeeping and paperwork side being a little unorganized so it's your responsibility to keep calling them and keeping yourself updated. don't expect them to call you and arrange things. read more

I came to Morse to see if they could fix it... and they diagnosed the issue in ~5 minutes, scheduled an appointment within the hour, and had it fixed in about 90 minutes. Was recommended to have an exhaust leak checked. The exhaust wasn't leaking, but a header bolt was loose and tightened for free. It appears that was the problem, no Leaks so far. Good old fashioned service. Didn't take advantage with fixing something that wasn't broken. read more

Last year Morse put on a steel bar covered by an aluminum shield to protect the catalytic converter in my Prius, which some jerks wound up trying to steal a few weeks ago. I noticed, since said jerks tore through the aluminum shield, but were unable to penetrate the steel bar so if you want some game changing cat protection, go here! I've had a few different car mechanics since at two separate shops marvel at the work they did and told me they were going to start recommending everyone to go to Morse to get the job done there too so that's when you know! They welded on an anti-theft device for my catalytic converter. They were quick and friendly. Would recommend.

I needed a muffler adapted to fit my 1974 Triumph Spitfire that was for an earlier model year of the car. Unfortunately a shop near me couldn't get the car on their lift due to its size, but Morse muffler had a lift that could easily accommodate the car. I was able to come in the Monday after calling and drop the car off in the morning and pick it up in the middle of the afternoon with the job complete. Tim and Tom did a great job fitting the muffler and piping it to the rest of the exhaust system, as well as installing a bung for a wideband O2 sensor. Price was in the same range as other estimates received and seemed fair for the work done. read more
