I asked Romeo and his crew to reglaze my bath and kitchen sink. He was late 3 hours and finished at 8:30 in evening. He insisted on full payment before I could even look at his finished work. The following day when I saw the work, I was shocked at the quality and requested that he kindly correct. Both tub and sink had a grit feel to surface with drip marks. he said that he put the grit in so that you don't slip! He did come back 2 more times under much complaining that he was spending more time and money to fix the issues. His new work had priority over a job poorly done. He came back twice to repair, but he work was not much better. in the end I decided to cut my losses and hire a new company to correct his shoddy work. Stay away from this amateur outfit. read more

On August 13, 2022, I utilized Romeo and Elite Tub Reglazing to reglaze the bathtub in one of my units. He was responsive, and seemed like a very nice guy. The job was supposed to take approximately 3-4 hours, but for some reason, took longer than 6 hours. I did not think much of it. The fumes were strong due to the recent reglazing so I took a quick look, and paid him in full via Zelle. The bathroom door was left closed for a few days, as instructed by Romeo, in order to let the epoxy settle in, and for the fumes to fade. When the fumes had faded and a couple days had passed, I entered the bathroom and noticed that the epoxy had bubbled in multiple spots, and it was not smooth in many locations, especially around the edges and rounded corners. I reached out to Romeo multiple times, and at one point he even confirmed that he'd be back "next week" to repair the bathtub. Unfortunately, he never did, and after multiple follow-ups, he disappeared and became unresponsive. As of October 2, 2022 and as I write this review, he never repaired the bathtub, and I'm out $450 for a bad job. I will never utilize his services ever again, and will only work with other reputable reglazing businesses with an abundance of good reviews. Based on my own experiences and observations, I would never recommend Romeo or Elite Tub Reglazing for any services moving forward. I highly recommend that you avoid this this business at all costs. read more

Unbelievable that this is the first Yelp review. Romeo of Elite Tub Reglazing was as professional as they come; he replied promptly, arrived on time and did a masterful job of reglazing our tub. The folks who the previous owner hired to reglaze the same tub did not do a good job, as the glaze began to chip within two years of us moving in. Romeo spent nearly 7 hours on the job. He properly stripped it, primed it and reglazed it. He also took extra precaution to properly vent the fumes with a tunnel and fan to the outside as well as sealing himself in the bathroom during the job, so as to minimize the fumes inside of the house as much as possible. One of the things he said to me while he was here was that he does every job as if it was his own house, and I couldn't agree more. He did such an amazing job. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!
