My only real complaint is that the case discount is only 5% as opposed to 10% which seems to be more standard from their competitors. As a bourbon fan, Rowans Creek is one of my top two favorites. It's a tie with Knob Creek, but I also enjoy Woodford Reserve. Rowans Creek is very hard to find in Tennessee. It's made by Willetts in Bardstown, and my husband and his best friend used to play in the creek when they were kids. Needless to say, it's a little pricey. The customer service continued to be good, but not what I'd call stellar. When the new manager came on board (I can't remember her name) customer service started to suffer. She always seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. She was never friendly or personable. As someone who has hosted a lot over the years, I've dropped a sizeable amount of cash in this establishment. Just today, I bought over $100 worth of product and received attitude like I've never seen anywhere else. I had questions about a store raffle they were having but she was unable to answer any questions about the details. A manager that can't tell you how a promotion or giveaway her own store is running? That's a red flag for me. Finally she disclosed that she's not part of the giveaway, that it's her supervisor's idea. She wasn't forthcoming with a way to contact said supervisor with questions. Red flag number two. She started out our conversation like she was in a bad mood, and it slowly escalated as I tried to understand through clarifying questions how she, the manager, didn't know the details of the store's promotion. I finally gave up and left, and it will probably be a long time until I return, if at all. Over the past five years I've spent quite a lot of money hosting different events, and if she's unwilling to answer simple questions without attitude, then perhaps my dollars are better spent elsewhere. There are plenty of other establishments in town that would love someone who spends freely in their store.
