I eventually asked for it to stop, it was a total waste of time. I left more stressed than when I arrived. When I explained my concerns while paying, the receptionist again said an hour on my back was "not good for me." I had seen her about six weeks prior for a hot stone massage and was blown away, and she delivered that same magic again this time. She paid special attention to my problem areas and finished with an incredible scalp massage that left me completely relaxed. My husband had Kenyea. My appointment started about 5 minutes late, and after being seated I was asked to soak my feet. I was told it would be about a minute, but according to the timer it ended up being a little over 8 minutes with no other service happening during that time. At other places I've been to, the foot soak is usually paired with a scalp or face massage, so this felt like lost time -- especially since I had arrived early to use the restroom so we could start on time. The foot massage itself was actually uncomfortable. The therapist wore gloves, which I've come to expect, but instead of massage oil they used Vaseline. I've never had that used before, and it created a lot of friction rather than glide, which made the massage feel rough instead of relaxing. Afterward I was moved to the table for the upper body portion. I've had similar services elsewhere that include neck, shoulders, and even face work, but none of those areas were addressed here. The paper covering where you place your face was also very scratchy, to the point I had to rest my face on my hands to stay comfortable. Overall, this just wasn't a relaxing experience for me, and I won't be returning. I'll be sticking with my usual place going forward.

Last night, I went for massage. During the massage session, the therapist stops to answer phone call. She doesn't say anything to me and leaves the room. I lost five minutes from my session. On top of that, she massages only for 40 minutes. I looked at the time when she started and ended the massage. Plus she didn't apply enough pressure and used her elbows mostly. They definitely lost me as their customer.
