BEST MASSAGE EVER!! I have chronic neck pain and I had a flare up and needed a massage ASAP to try and relieve the pain. I was able to get a last minute therapeutic massage appointment with Azi, and I felt so much relief after my 60 minute massage. She used acupressure to alleviate my pain and I literally felt the effects during the massage and after. It felt like electric signals going through my body to my feet. I first started getting massage from Azi back in 2012 when I was training full contact martial arts (heavy sparring, bagwork, lots of strength training, etc). At the time she hadn't started ABA yet but was working as a therapist for another practice. I was immediately impressed with her knowledge of the body, strength of her hands, and highly professional demeanor. Most other massage experiences I've had have fallen more on the "relaxation" side of the spectrum, no matter how much I tell the therapist that I'm looking for deep tissue. In contrast, Azi was very attuned to what I was looking for and really targeted the areas that were problematic for me (mostly neck and shoulders/upper back) in a way that was effective in managing pain and tension. A couple years later after I gave birth to my son, Azi was kind enough to do a few house calls. Again, she was very attuned to my (now very different) needs and helped my postpartum body recover. I moved away not too long after that and wasn't able to reconnect with her until several years later. The gym where I was working out was looking for a massage therapist and despite it having been several years since I last talked to her, I immediately thought of Azi.
