We were also expecting a traditional couples massage setup, but instead were placed in separate rooms connected by an open Jack and Jill style doorway, which felt a little awkward and not very relaxing. During the massage, I could constantly hear movement and the door being bumped into, which made it hard to fully unwind. I know a lot of people highly recommend this place, so maybe we just caught them on an off day. Personally, I didn't leave feeling much more relaxed than when I came in. That said, I did appreciate their pricing, and I'd be willing to give them another chance in the future.

I was able to get my room, which was the hair treatment room (odd for sure) which had 2 beds each shoved against either wall which left me wondering how the therapist would move around the my table, but whatever, they are the pros, not me. I got in and laid down and waited for my therapist. She came in and the massage got started. I could hear some loud talking outside the door (there was no music to cover it) but thought I would tune it out. Then someone was in the room with us having a conversation with the therapist. Weird right? OK, block it out. Just relax. She left, my therapist never stopped so I thought that was the end of it. Well here she comes again, talking to the therapist like we are not in a spa and I am not there. She leaves , has some loud conversation outside the door, then comes back. She then gets my attention and asks me if I wouldn't mind sharing the room with a person. I am 10 minutes into a 90 minute massage and I am stopped to consider if I would share a room with a stranger? Is it a man? A woman? Is the therapist a man or a woman? Too much to think about. Who on earth would share a room where you in your most vulnerable state? Naked and trying to relax while someone is trying to remove your stressors and anxiety.
