I needed a diseased fruitless mulberry removed. It kept dropping limbs every year and was pushing up concrete. I called Steve at Elk Grove Tree Service. He got back to me right away, drove by and gave me a fair quote to remove my tree and the wood, plus grind the stump (after utility marking). Not the least expensive, not the most expensive, but he is licensed, bonded, insured and has a boom truck. I also want to mention that Wesley, his foreman, is so experienced. He operated the boom and did all the high cuts. I needed two trees cut due to them being too large for the backyard in a spot too close to the fence/neighbors. I got six different estimates and Elk Grove tree service had the most reasonable quote. Steve also used his laser pointer to identify the problem areas while he was giving the quote vs just pointing at the sky like other companies and me trying to figure out where they were talking about. Elk Grove tree service was also the only company with the spider cutting machine, which allowed them to be more efficient and cut both trees simultaneously in a safer manner. Incredible service and great customer experience! The owner came out for a quote one day and was back the next day to complete the service. The crew was friendly and they really did a thorough job. They moved items that were in their way, put them back in their place when they were done and cleaned up all the debris that was left. We called to have our trees trimmed. They were able to just top off the tall redwoods and remove the other trees on the side yard. While healthy, the roots are invasive so we removed those instead of trimming. They were very quick and professional. They cleaned up all the debris nicely too. Definitely recommend. read more

I called for a quote to cut down my crepe myrtle tree which was consumed with aphids and way too much honeydew sap that was dripping on my new house windows and my sons car.
