FIVE STARS! Here's why... We needed a tree in front of our home removed ASAP because its roots had grown underneath our house and were damaging our sewer drain pipe. I sent a request through Yelp, and Jon, the owner, responded within TWO minutes! Now that's fast! Jon came out the very next day, gave us a very reasonable quote, and took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done--including grinding the visible roots on our lawn. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We met with Jon on Sunday and he had us scheduled for the following Friday 1pm. On the day of service, the crew even arrived earlier than expected! They were extremely careful with our property, and the crew member operating the stump grinder was incredibly precise when grinding the roots along our driveway and sidewalk. I had Jon come check out a large oak tree to see if it's feasible to prune or cut down. He assessed the tree and determined that it was sick and it's best to get it cut down. This diagnosis was confirmed as I spoke to other companies before. He gave me a reasonable quote and I sat on it to see if it's something I could handle right now. A week later, a large branch snapped and was held back by another branch, posing a very hazardous situation. I called Jon and he came the same night. He told me he could move some appointments around and come the next day because it was an emergency. He honored the original agreed price regardless of his crew coming on quick turn around. Jon of All Terrain Tree Service, gave us a great quote for two big maple trees , the service they provided were awesome, they were on time and promptly cut down both trees and mulched them up with their equipment. They proceeded to stump grind the biggest tree on my front yard and did a good job, but after they left I raked some of stump grinding chips that had coverup a part that didn't get ground up. We are so happy with the service that ATT provided us last month! They trimmed back 2 huge trees on the property but kept their natural shape and shade in our yard. They also took out 6 pruvits along the side fence and was able to grind the stumps down too. Their team was very hard working and cleaned our entire yard after their service. We even had another pine that was slated to be taken completely out due to a beetle infestation, but we wanted to try and save it by removing one infested branch and treating the tree. I'm writing to address and correct several misleading and unfair claims made in Arlene W's review regarding the pruning work performed by All Terrain Tree Services. The tree in question had been in poor health for several years. Its roots were infested with insects, and due to limited sunlight, the main trunk had grown at about a 50-degree angle, extending horizontally approximately 6 feet. Several dying branches extended another 8-10 feet outward, creating a serious hazardous situation. I even had to install two support posts to hold up the weight of the dying limbs. All Terrain inspected the tree, carefully removed the dead branches back to healthy joints--where upward, not horizontal, growth is still possible--and treated the compromised root system. Far from destroying the tree, they gave it a second chance and restored its vitality. While it's true that removing the dead limbs reduced the shade they once cast over Mrs. White's courtyard, relying on structurally unsound, decaying branches for shade is neither safe nor sustainable. Their crew, led by Louis and Alex, is exceptional. They are professional, courteous, detail-oriented, and hardworking. I highly recommend All Terrain Tree Services and encourage anyone in need of expert tree care to give them a call. read more

Kenny has an amazing eye for cutting trees. I had him cut about 5 oak trees and 10 redwoods. He took about 20 unkept tress on 2 different properties and trimmed them beautifully to give them shape and a clean look. He didn't cut too much, he didn't cut too little. All Terrain did some tree trimming at my neighbor's home. There pruning method will destroy the trees with there over pruning. They also left lots of debris in my yard and didn't have the courtesy to pick it up. read more

I would echo everything positive that has been said about these guys in past reviews -- I called them on a Friday afternoon to arrange for a bid for tree removal and stump grinding, Alexis was able to stop by that evening, he gave me a very fair bid -- less than half of what another company had just quoted me. They were able to come and do the job the next morning while we were out, and they did a perfect job -- the tree is gone, the stump is ground, and they left the property immaculate.
