Best Pizza by far!!!

Food was great!!! I'm constantly traveling for work and my favorite food group is Pizza!!! so I have tried more than my fair share of mom and pop and High end slices of heavenly pizza. The Hawaiian is by far the best I've had. The Ham, Bacon and Pineapple blended perfectly with the crust and mozzarella cheese, every bite was a new experience. I definitely recommend this place, its ambiance and service were impeccable!!!

This is what's left, because the rest was devoured. The pizza is AMAZING! If you're ever in Elk Park, you have to try this place. The crew here were all so friendly and personable. It adds to the wonderful atmosphere. I will be coming back!!!!

Food was bad, service was slow, and there is no ambiance. Local men seemed to like the place.

I eat here quite often but last week was probably my last time. They have serious staffing issue and need to work on time management.

I've only been here four times. Twice for breakfast and twice for lunch. The food was good and the wait staff friendly and ready to serve.

Horrible food, over priced, ham biscuit so thick you need a steak knife to cut it, go to Bojangles instead

If there is more than 8 cars in the parking lot they will turn you away. When 'rd Avery Ann was there it was an awesome place to eat.

I had salad, steak, and fries, then tiramisu. All were delicious. It was elegant, but seemed a bit outdated. We were not uncomfortable in jeans and T-shirts, though most patrons were dressed somewhat more nicely.

My dad and I shared the Onion Petals and Firecracker Shrimp for appetizers and both were delicious! The Onion Petals were not greasy at all and the sauce on the shrimp had the perfect amount of spice. I had the Hawaiian Ribeye, it was cooked perfectly medium-rare and the blue cheese butter really put it over the top! The Parmesan Truffle Fries were INSANELY good, I mean just look at the picture! My dad had the Prime Rib special and thoroughly enjoyed it. The creamy horseradish sauce was the perfect complement to the meat. For dessert we shared the Colossal Carrot Cake and it was a great end to our meal! The cream cheese frosting was delicious and the cake itself was super moist. We visit family in Roan Mountain a few times per year and had been meaning to try Americano ever since it opened. My only disappointment is that I wish I would have tried it sooner! We will definitely be coming back on our next visit!

Without reservations we were seated outside without a wait, I'd recommend making a reservation though. We split a NY Strip medium, a baked potato with all the fixings, & creamed spinach. I opted to top the steak with blue cheese butter and sauteed mushrooms. It hit the spot.... Perfectly. Looking forward to our next opportunity to sneak away from the kids and have a steak at Stonewalls.

My son's sprite came out quickly, and the bar drinks followed. I loved my holiday punch drink! The restaurant was still decorated for Christmas, but it made it more charming since we are in town to ski for the weekend. She brought out bread, but it wasn't warm, so that was odd. My son and husband still ate it; I did not. The escargot was ok ; not as good as other places we have had it. The fried deviled eggs were INSANE. We loved them so much. My son got the ribeye and a baked potato. He ordered it medium rare, and it was more on the rare side, but he still enjoyed it. As he kept eating, it cooked up a little bit. He ended the night with a cinnamon roll bread pudding with ice cream and caramel. The server lit a candle in it. Overall, we had a great time!

An extraordinary and singular culinary experience. Every course was imaginative, layered, and…read moremeticulously composed--at once inventive and deeply satisfying. The Venue The experience begins long before the first bite. A winding drive through a ranch-like entrance sets a tone of quiet anticipation, leading to a stunning property that feels both secluded and intentional. Valet parking is seamless, and from that first interaction, the service establishes a standard of excellence that carries throughout the evening. The Food The prix fixe menu is a true celebration of farm-to-table cuisine. Each dish is thoughtful, seasonal, and executed with remarkable precision. No two plates felt repetitive; instead, each course revealed a new perspective, a new technique, a new flavor story. We were told the menu evolves constantly with the seasons--aside from the bread, which thankfully remains a constant. And rightly so: it is nothing short of spectacular. While every course impressed, one dish remains unforgettable--the chocolate wasabi ice cream. Initially, we hesitated. Wasabi in a dessert seemed implausible, even risky. Yet our server confidently assured us it was exceptional--and his personal favorite. Trusting his expertise proved rewarding. The result was revelatory: balanced, nuanced, and utterly addictive. So much so that after finishing both desserts, we wished we had ordered a second serving of the chocolate wasabi alone. It was a moment of culinary brilliance we will not soon forget. The Service If the service could be described in one word, it would be excellence. Attentive without intrusion, knowledgeable without pretense. One gentleman, distinguished by his accent and effortless professionalism, stood out as a true asset to the establishment. Service of this caliber elevates the entire experience. Final Thoughts Living five hours away is almost unfortunate--but also an invitation. This meal alone is reason enough to return to the Appalachian Mountains more often. We are grateful to have experienced such a memorable and inspired expression of modern cuisine. Thank you for an evening we will long remember.

It might have just been the holiday rush, but I always figure "busy means good," so my expectations were high--and The Local didn't disappoint. We started with the nachos; they were delicious, though I do wish they came with a bit more meat. For mains, the burger was outstanding--probably one of the best we've had in the entire area. We also ordered the Brazilian steak, which was cooked perfectly and came with great plantains. The quinoa with tofu was good, too, though it was a little dry and would have been perfect with a sauce. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and refilled my water at least four times without me asking. Great ambiance and an all-around good experience. Definitely worth the wait!
