I went here last night for the production of "Silent Sky" which is an inspirational story of how dedication and passion will stop no man or woman, as this play focused more on how women had to fight tooth and nail to pursue their dreams. They may run for about 3 weeks , Thursday thru Sunday. You have to check the schedule on the website for the times. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. Starting at $21, with discounts for seniors and students. Also special prices for Thursday night performances. I recently went to see William Shakespeare's play " Much to do about Nothing ". I really enjoyed it! The theater is small, holds about 200 people. The staff is very friendly, always welcoming you when you enter. The bathrooms always clean and they even have snacks for sale during the intermission. The reason they get 4 stars is because there is only street parking on Germantown Ave. and a parking lot for the stores in the area is about a block away. So you have to get there early to find a spot. They also have nice shops and restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this place for a fun night out or weekend matinee!

A nice little dose of park life tucked behind a library!…read more Even though I was more than familiar with the Luddington Library, the Bryn Mawr Gazebo park right behind it is something that I've overlooked for decades, and would have continued to overlook if it weren't for the incredible Bryn Mawr Summer Twilight Concert Series, where I've enjoyed seeing the likes of Hoots & Hellmouth and Vienna Teng perform. Beyond the concerts, this gazebo comes with a ton of park life amenities tucked within a tiny space. There's a playground for kids, a community building with public restrooms, benches to lounge in, elaborate greenery, and some hidden tennis courts. for a park so tiny it really works in a lot! The summer concerts really are the best part that has been going on for decades, and they have a passionate local following. Now that Rising Sun Presents has also stepped in to help with the booking, it has also ensured that some known acts blend into the local flavor.

We did it last year and plan to do it again - it was SO much fun! We were looking for something active to do (it's a 90-minute walk) but not go dancing, for a Girls' Night. This was perfect. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave good stories and really set it up for us to have a good time. Plus we probably learned stuff too! We met down on Bridge street. The walk was not too hard but not really for someone who can't walk a good bit. They let children go, but I think the one we were on was too spooky for kids. I think they make it less scary if there are kids in the group. We DID call in advance, which they recommend and we were glad we did, b/c there were people there hoping to get in on the tour. But because we had reservations, they took us and gave them spots for the next night. They keep the groups small, which I appreciate. I went on a ghost tour in Savannah and the group was so big, we could never hear the guide. Some of the people came from surrounding areas, not just Phoenixville: Valley Forge, Downingtown, West Chester, King of Prussia. They said it was something different to do. Which I agree - it's hard to find something great to do besides just restaurants & clubs! This was fun!

Nobody pops out at you. No one hiding in costume along the trail. Flashlights and cameras aren't required, but it's fun to try to capture orbs or manifestations on camera. I was born in Phoenixville and did not know some of the history explained on the tour. I was glad I chose to participate, however, this is not a gut wrenching haunted attraction at all.

Actors get on the ride with you so it really keeps you on your toes. The field was just okay. The sets weren't as good and the timing for the walk through just seemed off. Entry took a long time even with purchasing tickets ahead of time. You still have to wait in line and show your QR code to obtain a physical ticket. There's a lot of fun things to do outside of the ticket experience. There was some pretty good livd music and bonfires. There were also occasional fire dancers on a side stage. Food was pretty mediocre. The funnel cake was good but the pumpkin one tasted the same as the regular. The cider was watered down. Overall we had a lot of fun.

Sleepy Hallow was a great thrill for some spooky Halloween fun!…read more I came to sleepy Halloween with my niece and nephew and we had a blast! I was able to purchase tickets ahead a team online and for the three of us it cost about 130.00 to see all the three attractions. At sleepy hallow you can experience the haunted house, the field and the haunted hayride. We decided to check out the haunted house first and I must say the actors did a great job, although I know it was all fake, it still gave me a great scare cause you never knew when some random zombie like person was gonna pop out. The field was fun as well. We walked the corn field while being chased by a crazy chainsaw man. Lastly the hayride was full of scary clowns and zombies popping out the bushes....oh my! Overall it's great for family fun and kids. It's also a good date night vibe. They also offer food such as funnel cake and pizza. They also have an amazing bon fire. I would definitely recommend visiting!
